Excellent location, right next to Nippori station”
We chose Hotel Lungwood based on its close proximity to Nippori station. We rode the Keisei Skyliner from Narita Airport. After exiting the station, walk down the stairs, turn right and walk toward Family Mart, then turn left. The hotel's rear entrance is straight ahead! Staff was warm & welcoming. The room was modern and spacious enough for us (2 adults, 3 young kids). Breakfast buffet for 2 adults was included with our stay, so we just had to pay the difference for our 2 older kids. The spread was diverse and the food was delicious. There is an in house massage/spa next to the lobby, but we didn't get to indulge because they were booked. The only major downfall was that the room showed evidence of heavy traffic, specifically dark stains/spills on the chairs and the bathroom had a slight stench, but it appeared thoroughly cleaned so we did not complain. We would definitely consider staying here again.
Easy Access to Narita Airport”
Only 3 mins walk from Nippori Stn with some small eateries around the hotel. A JR day pass is good enough for you to get around. We chose this hotel because its easy to get to narita airport. You can either take the keisei skyliner which is a high speed train or JR express train. We took the jr express n reach the airport in 80 mins. We would choose this hotel again.
Family best hotel”
We were given big room. Very near to the train station. We have 3 large luggage and stroller just 5mins walk to the hotel. The surrounding area also not to pack compared to other station. We really enjoy staying at this hotel. Will book the same hotel when come again to Tokyo.
Book the twin room and it is very spacious for the price we get. The hotel is a little bit old but clean and well managed. It is close to Nippori Station where there are JR Train and Keisei Skyliner to Narita. The amenities are quite complete and the staffs are also attentive. Will consider staying here again in the future.
Great hotel with close proximity to airport train”
The twin room is surprisingly very spacious. The hotel is old but clean. It is very close to Nippori Station where there is Keisei Skyliner to Narita Airport. The surroundings area has many food options and shops. Staffs are also kind and helpful. Will be staying in this hotel again if we have the chance.
we had restful nights.. the only thing we didn't like was the smoking room because there's no available non-smoking room.. but all in all it was nice, the food and the hotel.. and also the staffs were very acccommodating..
As a first timer to Tokyo, I think the location of this hotel is good but not the best. It's just 2 minutes walk from the Nippori station (for JR line and Skyliner to Narita airport) - but as a traveler, you will probably rely on the Tokyo subway more (which has 24-72 hours discounted pass) for sightseeing. It can be expensive to travel on JR lines when you don't have a pass. The single room is the biggest of all three hotels that I stayed at (in Osaka and Kyoto), and the bed is comfortable and big for one person. There is a couch and small table too!! The room is clean, but the hallway carpet looked old dirty.
Big room ”
The room is big, suitcase can open widely. but there is no heater in the room when winter time is cold.
Typical small room in Tokyo. Great stay near to Nippori Station. Surrounding with Izakaya and family mart.
Hotel with a strategic location”
Lungwood Hotel is a strategic hotel for tourists visiting Tokyo because it is close to the train station and surrounded by many choices of food and mini markets so that anything needed can be fulfilled
A good stay”
Pros -1 excellent location (straight from Narita Airport to nippori Station (skyliner - 40min), 3-5 mins walk from nippori station. U can also go to many attractions in Tokyo st;arting from nippori station. Cons- room is too small. We have 5 members n book 2 small double room. It's quite tough to sleep 3 pax in one room. The bed is small (super single size) n while trying to sleep 3 pax one bed it's super uncomfortable. So most of the night I slept on the floor. Huhuhu
Good location, a bit old but clean hotel”
Very easy to go around tokyo as the JR train is about 5 mins walk. Also easy to go to and from Narita airport via keisei skyliner. Spacious rooms for a Tokyo hotel. Got the triple room and we had lots of space to move around and for our large baggages. This is very uncommon for a Tokyo hotel as they are usually quite small. This hotel is good for resting after a whole day exploring Tokyo as there is not much to do in the hotel. No English channels in the tv, which is also usual. Bathroom is clean and toiletries were refreshed daily. We availed buffet breakfast and the price is reasonable. Mostly western food (bacon, sausages, eggs, potatoes) with some Salad and Japanese cuisine Overall, if i come back to Tokyo, I would stay again here due to convenience of its location and spacious rooms.
Good location, healty japanese buffet and easy access to amenities ”
I would recommend this to those carry with big luggage, young children and look for reasonable price hotel. Situated at few minutes walking distance from train stn, best for traveller like me as buying the keisei round trip ticket to airport. You can refund your pasmo or suica card here so this hotel best for you to spend out everything in your card credit and do the refund before travelling back to your country . Buffet breakfast was considered cheap also compare to other hotel and variety to full your stomach before continue with your journey .
Autumn & Winter Visitor. please ask (Aircon & Window). Room too warm. Frendly Staff”
2 room. total 4 person .from Malaysia. stay for 2 night. both room too warm. window CAN'T open. Because of the Hard working staff, i stay for the second night. The hard working & friendly staff sent Fan & Air cooler to us.
very near to nippori station..abt 2-3 min walk.that is a very plus point after whole day travelling back. family mart very near. restaurant abundance around. there is 2 halal restaurant around for muslim traveller.
Near JR and good location. We booked 2 rooms but air conditioner in my room very hot different another room even engineer comes to see the air conditioner.
The location is great. The others are just fine”
First, if you are looking for the hotel near the Kaisei Sky liner from Narita airport, i would recommend this hotel. Close to Nippori station just 1 min walk. I find it sk kuch convenient to me to carry large luggages from hotel back to airport. Second the room is quite small. We booked the 2 bedroom type with 3 people. Actually was onle 1 bedroom with 2 single bed! I don’t understand why hotel identify in the booking 2 bedroom. Third Staff cannot really communicate in English. Others thing is ok for reasonable price with great location.
Great location, large room. That’s it.”
Close to Nippori station(JR, Keisei line) easy access to Narita airport and around the city. Nearby supermarket, convenient stores, restaurants. Hotel service was so so, compare to other hotels we’ve been in Japan. Front lady when we checked in was unfriendly, made us feel very unwelcome. There was a customer before us, when done the front lady still seemed busy with some paper works so we waited, at front desk for a long time and no greeting or any responses from her at all. So we asked for check in, that when she turned to check us in. No smile, sulky face, no explanation about hotel coupon(it was in japanese) and our luggages which was sent by delivery service. But she happily welcomed a japanese customer after us, obviously. A staff who checked us out was nice. The room was large, plenty space for 2 large luggages. Dirty carpeted floor. Dim light. Uncomfort mattress and pillows, pillows were too firm and thick, woke up with muscle strain everyday. After all, great location.
One of the few hotels that provide spacious rooms. This is a great location that is actually only a few mins from the train station. Don't worry that you are staying a little farther from central Tokyo, from Nippori station everything is reachable. I didn't care that it would take 30 mins to Harajuku by train, what I cared about is that it only took me 2 mins to walk to the train station. I was more concerned with how long it took me from my hotel to the train station that how long I would be sitting on the train. Believe me that you will care more about that hotel to train station distance. As a fat american who drives everywhere and the longest walk of my day is from where I parked my car to the front of store, I was not ready for the amount of walking you need to do in Tokyo. Although train stations are everywhere, you still need to walk to them, between the site seeing and walking from hotel to station, my feet were tender.
Great hotel overall”
Location is great as it's only a 2 min walk from Nippori Station. Lots of food places nearby. Also has many drug stores around the imediate area and also a supermarket where you can get cheap drinks and food. Hotel is easy to get into and rooms are pretty clean. Comes with all necessary amenities in room. Wish they had a laundry room though as in the summer you sweat a LOT and want to wash the clothes so they don't start to smell during the stay.
