Bliss”
I loved my stay at Hotel M. I was able to check in early as my flight into Yangon arrived ahead of time and my room was upgraded. The facilities of the hotel (pool and gym) were fantastic. The variety of food at breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful with anything I needed. For sightseeing the hotel is a little out from downtown Yangon (15-30minutes by taxi) however when the cost is only 5000 kyat it's not a bother and you get the added bonus of a quiet and peaceful hotel. There are also enough restaurants within walking distance as well as a local supermarket. Large rooms, variety of foods for breakfast, refreshing pool, gym facilities, friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice hotel in a quite area”
Hotel M is a charming hotel in a nice quiet residential area with a boutique hotel feel to it. The room was beautifully furnished and the hotel feels like home away from home. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We used the inexpensive taxis and Grab to get around the city. The staff at Hotel M would call taxis for us which we found to be very convenient. Our stay was during the low season and the hotel management kindly upgraded us to a larger room. We had an issue with the air conditioning which the hotel addressed but wasn’t fully resolved. If we had stayed another night, I’m sure the hotel would’ve provided us with another room. Last but not in the least, the breakfast was excellent.

Nice hotel with beautiful rooms”
We liked the big beautiful rooms very much. Comfy bed and nice bathroom . We had small ants in the bed and on the floor, I guess it’s hard to get rid of them. Not a big problem and the staff put some spray int the rooms. High Tea was a disappointment, first day nothing more than tea and coffe, second day a few tuna sandwitches. For cocktails it was gin and tonic or rum and cola. Breakfast was average. Very nice pool area and garden. For visiting Yangon for sightseeing I think it’s a bit off but we used Grab taxi. It’s a nice and cozy hotel in a residential area . Nice staff.

The price proposed by aggoda was half of the one they offer direct at the hotel! Really nice pool, quite. Nice restaurants and quite bars around , in a very calm area. The staff was really kind and disponible for us; they offered us our additional drinks (bottle of water) and negociated the prices with our taxi-drivers. Clean rooms and confortable beds.

Very quiet area and place. Employees very fiendly Clean Large rooms A bit north of main attractions but you can reach them for 2000 to 4000 kyats and the hotel area is very pleasant for Yangon

Exceptional”
Lovely hotel, clean, good size rooms, comfortable beds, swimming pool. Breakfast was really good. Restaurant for lunch dinner served good food at good prices. Location is great if you need to be close to embassies. It costs about $US4 in taxi to city. There are some nice restaurants and a bar close by.

Great pool, breakfast good but have had better in much cheaper places. Need to catch a taxi to most sites, taxi's at the top of the road, very reasonable. It's a different part of Yangon, more larger houses. The kids wanted a pool for our last couple of days and this was the closest we could find that was reasonably priced

nice hotel, poor location”
As is the case throughout Yangon you pay a lot for what you get. However, on the positive side rooms are new, nicely appointed with good service (e.g bowl of fruit eac day, complimentary cocktails poolside each evening etc. However, what was disappointing for me as a first time visitors to Yangon was the location on a back street in the north of the city. Not only did taxi drivers invariably have trouble finding the hotel, but the taxi ride downtown (to Bogyoke market) always took me at least 30 minutes due to the heavy traffic, and apart from a couple unremarkable there is nothing within walking distance from the hotel. In this basis I would not recommend this hotel to those coming to Yangon as tourists.

The M is for Marilyn Monroe!”
A fairly decent hotel. The staff was amazing!! There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious. The manager is excellent. My only complaint was breakfast. It is suppose to start at 6:30 am , but the staff isn't even finished putting all the food out by 7:30 am. I feel everything should be ready when breakfast opens not 1.5 hours later. ( a late breakfast is one of my pet peeves for a hotel) Also, I like the idea that they want to serve you a fresh breakfast by having it cooked to order, however, this does not suit business travellers. There is no buffet. Many business people stay here, so having to wait 30 minutes for breakfast doesn't work if you have early morning meetings. If they had a buffet, and all food was ready and on time, then it would be the perfect hotel.

Nice room with friendly staff”
New hotel with location right inside a small lane. A lots of taxi drivers do not know the place. Other than the location, everything else is perfect. Friendly staff, fruits are serve daily in room, complimentary tea & cocktail daily but timing are at odd hour, 3-4pm, 5-6pm.

Rooms are good, staff very polite, smiling and service minded. Breakfast selection could certainly be better, however they make a good omelet. Did not eat at the hotel so didn't try their other food selection

Very nice hotel”
We had some issue after check in but it was resolved by the nice staff. Room is very nice and hotel design is very cool Pool looked very nice though ran out of time and didn't use it. Breakfast was very good. One complaint was the value of the dinner. It was very expensive for myanmar and most of the food was fine, but not worth the high charge and the chicken sandwich had so tiny amount of meat on it.....otherwise a very good stay and I would recommend. The staff were very nice and made a big effort

Clean business hotel with great staff. Rooms are extremely small, and built for business travelers. Hotel is down a small ally without signs so it is difficult to find. Overall a good hotel for 1 night.
