Worth your money for the location and staff”
Staff are very friendly and can speak English, the hotel is clean and nice. The hotel location is close to the metro and decent eateries. There's breakfast available for 12 € but we opted to go to a nearby boulangerie. We were also able to do our laundry at a nearby laundromat. There's free water bottle, coffee, and tea available at the front desk. Our only gripe is, because we've never experienced this before, the sign for do not disturb and come back tomorrow seems to be optional because the cleaner still came in to leave some treats or changed our glasses in the sink and the bedroom. Now we are here during the coronavirus scare so we were very particular about people touching our things because we've been disinfecting them. This is a small matter but they are still 5 stars and highly recommended. We stayed here for 7 nights. We will definitely return in the future. Their happy culture is great! Merci beaucoup. Hotel Magenta 38 is super.

Great breakfast, compact room”
Room is clean, but a little compact. The hotel feels safe despite being next to a busy road, albeit a bit noisy if your room window is facing the street (like ours). Request for room facing the garden if you are a light sleeper. Location of the hotel is good, within walking distance to 3 metro stations, but only 1 is a bit safe for international tourists especially from Asia countries.. we’ve been pickpocketed in Gare de l’est and apparently Chateau d’eau is a bad neighbourhood for people like us too. Breakfast at the hotel is well worth it! Plenty of food choices and they are all delicious and fresh. Plus, you’ll avoid morning thieves by just staying inside the hotel.

Nice hotel with afforadable price”
I went to Paris with my wife, we stayed at Magenta Hotel for 4 nights. If you hesitate to choose this hotel for your trip, I can tell you that you will not disappoint with this place. It's very close to metro station just 2-3 minutes walk. I found it easy to go to the Republic square, which has a lot of restaurants. The room was nice and large compare to the other hotel room in Paris which usually small. Also the manager was very friendly and speak english very well.

Value for money hotel”
This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a relatively comfortable hotel at an affordable rate. Breakfast was normal. In terms of location, train stations are just nearby and within 5-7min walking distance. We even walk with our luggages to the main Paris Gare Du Nord station that is about 15min walk. Staff are also very friendly.

Comfort, convenience and value”
The hotel rates itself as a 3 star, Its a high quality 3 star. Convenient for Gare du Nord, Gare de l'est, and Jacques Bonsergent metro stations. There are many lovely cafes on this street and it is a short walk from place de la republique. The room was very clean and comfortable, modern decor. Traffic on the street below was a little noisy when we had the window open, but not a problem with the window closed. Would recommend to anyone.

Location near the Metro Stn”
The actual location is very far from Gare du Nord and gare de l'est. The nearest Metro is Jacque Bonsergent Stn just 100 metres away from the hotel. Nice hotel with helpful english speaking staff. Clean room with facilities like a DVD player but not function in the room 505, safe box, flat TV, refrig with minibar.

This hotel located near to Jacques Bonsergent metro station, which is one or two station away from the main station Gare du Nord. There are many convenient stores around the hotel and also many restaurants. Hotel is very well maintained and the staff are friendly. Excellent!

Perfect little hotel for the money ”
This was my second time staying at Hotel Magenta 38, and I am already looking forward to my next stay. It isn’t anything fancy, but it is clean with updated rooms and a chic little lobby. Great location and staff as well.

Great hotel and service”
Our first night we were booked in a room where the aircon is not functioning well and also the elevator was out of service. It was very difficult but the receptionist helped us carry our luggage. the next day, they moved us to a premium room and everything went well. the hotel is 10 minutes by walk to the gare de nord station and also accessible to subway stations. this hotel is very strategic.

The hotel is very close to Jacques Bonsergent station, which is approximately 2 stops away from Gare du Nord station. Alternatively, there is a Velib bicycle station quite near to the hotel, so finding public transportation from the hotel is very easy. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The room was generally clean, but I found out that my toilet was not prepared properly for my stay; the soap dispenser ran out of soap, and one of the towel provided was dirty. Nevertheless, it was still acceptable and has good value for money for a nice location.

Basic hotel but great location”
Took a weekend trip to Paris with my gf and wanted to book a decently priced hotel in a central location. Stumbled upon The Magenta hotel and I'm glad I did. Biggest selling point for the hotel for me was it's central location and proximity to the Metro. It's also just 2 stops from Gare Du Nord so heading back to get the Eurostar home was as easy as you like. Rooms are basic...bed are relatively comfortable...free wi-fi..can't ask for more really!

Hotel very well located: close to both gare de last and du more, next to metro station, lots of shops/coffee/restaurant nearby. Staff very friendly and welcoming, great service. Room is on the small side but very clean.

i liked the visit in magenta hotel. it’s in good location, only 20-30 minutes by walk to monmartre. staff is willing to help. rooms are small, but it was enough for us, because we returned to room only to sleep.

Decent value, great location”
15 mins away from Paris Nord station, and close to several metros which can hit many popular tourist attractions. A lot of good bakeries and restaurants that are famous close to this hotel. Only thing to take note is the city tax to be paid on the spot, but I guess that applies to all hotels there

Nice hotel but location not ideal ”
I thought that the hotel was near Gare du Nord because google maps showed that it's only a few mins walk from Gare du Nord. But in reality, it's 2 metro stops from Gare du Nord. The nearest metro isn't very well connected to the main sights of interest so you will need to change trains very often. I was staying at the top floor (7th level) but the lift only goes to 6th level. So, I had to lug my luggage up a flight of stairs. That was quite a nightmare as I had heavy luggage. The room had windows that overlook rather pretty sights of Paris..

Average hotel”
We split our stay into 3. And our first stay at Magenta 38 was so so. The room was tiny. The bathroom was 70% clean. However, the staff (the lady with indian accent) was so nice, she kept our luggages for 10 days when we travelled around without staying at the hotel (she asked us to sign a paper and stuff, but still). But that was the only plus we had for this hotel, beside its convenient location.
