Good and quiet location”
Location is very near Amsterdam Central and yet very quiet. Room that was given to me was bigger then the usual small hotel rooms. We can open 2 large luggages at the sametime. Room was clean. To note that there is no refrigerator in the room. We are aware and don't need it as we were there in Jan when it was cold. Staff was helpful and nice.

Cute Boutique Hotel with the Chinese Decor in the common areas”
We had a top floor room with a skylight window overlooking a historic church. Room was spacious with a king size bed & a nice size bathroom. Building interior design is awesome & tastefully decorated with Chinese porcelain, wood carvings, and other Chinese art. Kudos to builders who used Quality crafts people who did the tile work in the bathroom and the interior. Lacking in our room was a writing desk/chair, dresser drawers, and a sitting chair but they do have in their lobby plenty of tables and chairs, bench seats and 2 self-service bars with snacks & drinks for an extra charge. Our Room rate includes a daily buffet breakfast and includes omelets, pancakes, and waffles prepared by a chef. Easy short Walk to Central Station & Chinatown. Definitely the Mai Hotel is a place to rest and stay during your holidays in Amsterdam.

Solid Clean Location”
Stayed here a few days before Christmas with my girlfriend. Was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the standard rooms are (especially after flying in from London). Free Nespresso, international wall plugs with USB, central location, everything was pretty good here. Only downside is that it’s in central Amsterdam so it might not be the most convenient by car, but it is a short 5 min walk from the Centraal station so that’s good. Overall will stay again if I get the chance.

Great location”
We arrived at night and throughout the stay there, I found the corridors and room too dark and dimly lit, I guess it was to create a chic and cool atmosphere but it turned out too spooky for comfort. The location was great though and just a short walk away from the hype of the city, it's also very near to the train station.

Lovely hotel in a great location ”
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I requested a twin room online and not only was my request met, and they also upgraded us to a canal view room, which was spacious and clean. The beds and linen we're luxurious. I would recommend anyone to stay here. 10/10

Affordable luxury, very peaceful and quiet especially since it was so close to all of the very touristy streets. It’s a little quiet spot and there’s a lot of nice restaurants nearby

Good hotel”
Location is great. This is near Central Station as and veryclose to red light district. We travelled on foot to Nemo museum, zoo etc. Even stromma Pier for boating is walking. Hotel is nice, clean and rooms are very good. Overall we had a great stay.

Really nice hotel”
This is my preferred hotel in Amsterdam central. Just a few minutes walk from the station , in a quiet street. Prices are great compared to the quality. Staff are nice. Modern and clean. Have to say this is my favorite hotel in central Amsterdam. Will go again on next visit , guaranteed.

Thank God for Mai!”
I developed health complications while at Mai and had to be there for 11 nights. The staff provided absolutely amazing help and support. Their warmth and friendliness went a long way in enabling a quick recovery. The hotel is extremely well located and the rooms are modern. Highly recommended to everyone. I won't stay anywhere else in Amsterdam.

The location is perfect! Hotel Mai is within walking distance to Amsterdam Central as well as several major attractions. The room was clean, comfortable for a good night sleep and the shower was amazing. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby.

The hotel is a little old, but that is because the building itself is quite old. The whole Chinese vibe is really cool. the rooms can use a little more light, had to use my phone to go through my luggage.
