Easy Check-In, even gave us a room earlier (12noon) so we can deposit our luggages. Hotel has elevator to bring luggages up (not very common for older hotels). Staff were all helpful. Hotel a bit old, with historical value! Yet still maintain nice design. Room was spacious, bed was old-ish wooden. Plus points if room has big traditional windows that can be opened as we want cool fresh air. Bathroom was also good, though a bit weird interior and sliding door but still nice. Wifi was working alright, same with cable TV. Breakfast was okay, but very limited choices. Very good location as it is just a walk away from the Duomo, and near many shops around. Negatives: Old wooden bed was a bit dusty at the back, and made noises when moving. Room gets scary because its old, but you get used to it, just open window for fresh air

Our room was renovated and nice. New paint, headwall with plugs and overall good aesthetics. But our friends ended up with a room that had peeling wallpaper, shower that doesn’t close all the way (this wet floors), and a hair dryer that caught on fire. Our room’s refrigerator could not even plug into the new outlet, and the power outlet for my side of the bed was broken. Centrally located, but lacking in maintenance. Bathtub also had weird step that was a slipping hazard.

Fin little older place”
We got a nice room on the top floor, with had a small balcony, it was lovely. The hotel has not been renovated for a long time, but it has its charm. Their dining room is beautiful, and it was a pleasure to sit in thouse surroundings and start the day. Location is very central and service was fine.

Walking distance to train station Uffizi and the Cattedrale. A woman receptionist was kind and welcoming. A older man receptionist had a terrible attitude and was not helping at all.

Poor service, Poor facilities ”
The hotel is close to the Dome. Other than that I find it very low value for the pricey rate. Staff isn’t very friendly or helpful. A/C doesn’t work. Breakfast is mediocre at best. Hotel doesn’t provide basic toiletries. Spend your money somewhere else.

Helpful staff and great location. Had a large room with a terrace...... who would believe in Florence??? Good continental breakfast, tho had to go to the breakfast room to get WIFI. Be careful if you are driving, you will have to garage your car at 24 euro per 24 hours, but the hotel organises collection and delivery of your car, so that was nice. Else all in all a nice hotel and close to the Duomo so very central. Good value for money, would stay here again.

95% Hotel”
I call this a ninety five percent hotel meaning just five percent changes would make a huge difference. Lovely building and spaces, perfect location and good breakfast nice room, this is the positive stuff and please understand I'm reviewing this from a long stay perspective. On the minus side poor Wi-Fi only available in certain areas, controls in room for air conditioner indicate choices but do not work only two options turn on turn off we choice off for the whole stay. Washing breakfast dishes while clients eating there breakfast in the same room lots of noise for late comers, scratchy speakers with news broadcast in breakfast room just unnecessary noise turned off on request with grace. In shower no shelf to rest cleansing stuffs. Nowhere to sit in reception area when there is room for a bench. Bar fridge not working and not working in at least five other rooms so attention to detail lacking. We enjoyed our stay here but for relatively small changes it could be so much better. The manager Francesca was a delight.

Cozy nice place”
Its quite near the Florence Train Station so its quite convenient if you are travelling by train. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. It was a very pleasant stay. :)

this was a nice hotel, located within a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. small but efficient rooms. breakfast is ok, not the greatest. ac works. no free internet though.

Great location”
Great location on Main Street (easy to find, quick walk to all attractions, shopping, food, etc). The reception is always friendly and remembers me and my room number. Breakfast was acceptable. Room felt like authentic Florentine and modern bathroom. WiFi only in common area.

i like the hotel in general with the great location and the resaonable price. however the room is a littel bit far from the elevator. Therefore i haave to bring my heavy luggage with a 3 minutes walk from the lobby to the hotel room. Also there were a lot of bugs inside the room even without the opehning of the window.

I wifi was paid an not in the room!! The staff have a solution but only in one small spot. Overall the location made up for any faults, but we wanted to bring some friends to the room and they wouldn't allow it.

I won't recommend this hotel. For the price the fdacilities are very poor. Breakfast wasn't what I've got in cheaper hotels. No WiFi even they say it was available. It was clean and the location is the only thing right.

Rude and unhelpful night staff”
Hotel's location is perfect!! Very close to the Duomo. We stayed in room 55, very outdated. We usually don't mind that but the room was so hot. The AC was not cooling so we asked the night staff if we can change rooms but she was just not interested in helping us. We asked if she could check the setting maybe we're doing something wrong but she said she can't help us. We asked for additional pillows, same lady, said no she can't help us with that either and said to just wait for the morning staff.

Advertised as a triple, charged extra for third person”
This was advertised as a triple, we fully intended to travel with our daughter, the price seemed appropriate for a THREE PERSON room, but upon arrival, without changing the room reservation at all— we were charged another 75 euro AND attacked rudely by the front desk man. He was rude and totally inappropriate. The breakfast was not edible (coffee and at LEAST day old pastries with canned peaches, no fresh anything). The shower didn’t work and had mold growing on the curtain. We got eaten alive by something (mosquitoes or bed bugs??!) and the beds were completely worn out, with dips in the middle. All we wanted was a decent place to sleep, but this place was a bad choice.
