This hotel is located quite adjacent to the bus stand, and the beach is a few minutes walk from the hotel. Now this hotel has a really awful staff, the reason I will elaborate below. During weekends when there is heavy rush of travelers to Pondicherry, the hotel's can actually make a quite a lot of money by direct booking at their desk. So they try all kind of tricks to deny rooms booked through online sites. I was told that this hotel doesn't have AC rooms, on further questioning he said the AC is not working at present. I was told to contact the agoda support team to reassign a new hotel nearby. And there was no response from the Agoda support team. Thankfully being a frequent traveler I had expected some foul play beforehand & had booked a different hotel before itself. Mind u, none of the telephone numbers given on the hotel website actually works. So, 1. Don't book a hotel if you can't contact them and confirm 2. Be careful booking on weekends at Pondycherry

The worst hotel i was recommended by Agoda. hotel staff was extremely unprofessional. Breakfast Was included in my plan but they charge additional Money for Breakfast i will never visit again to hotel mass in my life and will not recommend to anyone to stay in this badly hotel.reception guy came to my room and ask for early checkout at 8.30 am but standard checkout time is 11.00 am but they forcefully check out room at 10.00am

1. Soap and Towel ware not kept in the bathroom. 2. Toilet drainage-hole was above the closet. So it was dreadful to sit on the closet. 3. Room was dusty. Dirt was covered when we walked inside the room bare-footed. 4. Rest everything was OK. Very close to the Bus Stand.

Very dirty rooms. Dirty bathrooms. No hot water coming. No staff response. Breakfast is OK. Food is very average. Never had such a bad experience. Cockroaches over the bed and on the floor. Unbelievable worst experience. The only thing I experienced was the great effort by the hotel manager Mr. Elengho to sort out the issues at his level. Because him we could somehow managed to stay there . You agoda people have cheated us by charging double the actual price of the hotel. I kindly request you to make the refund.

I stayed with family with kids for 6 days, all days same break fast no change. No wifi in the room, no geyser in the bathroom. Stafff brought tea in smelly petrol cups. Staff were egoistic, you ask one thing you tell differently in different meaning. Suggest dont look for this hotel if you are planning with family. If you are backpackers dont mind anything then okie for you...

Needs significant updating”
Whilst the location and service was good the hotel was in need of significant updating. When we entered the room the card power terminal was falling from the wall, the batteries fell from a broken remote for a TV with broken switches and the room was dark. The sheets were also stained and the walls appeared to have the stains of age. Quite a disappointment as the service and breakfast was good. I would much rather pay more for a much newer room closer to the historic centre.

Very Expensive for one week stay.Basic amenities (hot water, shampoos etc) were not given when hotel was less full.It should not be dicriminated as everyone pays full price.Refunds should have been given if policy changes to the capacity of people. Hospitality and training must be given to dining staff who stand and stare. Pillows gave stiff neck.

Absolute bizarre hotel. No etiquette of the hotel staff. tool 45 min for check-in. rooms were stinking. Electrical fittings. Restaurent ambienece is aweful. No service. if you ask for attending for any problem it will be days for the hotel. I am not biased in my review but I had many travellers who were staying in this hotel for these two days had the similar experience.

Hotel has 2 buildings and they gave the older builing which was not maintained for online booking. Arrived about 6pm and had to wait for 1 hr for staff to clean and give the room. Room rates were cheaper than what Agoda sold the same for.

Very Worst Stay of my Life”
We booked 5 rooms. Except the room size, there is no good thing to say. 1) Rooms are full of cockroaches even inside the Refrigerator too 2) No hot water in bathrooms, after complaining they offered a Immersion type Water Heater which is not working. Most importantly when I checked whether the water is getting hot, I got heavy electric shock and some how saved my life as I touched the water with swift move 3) Toilets are very ugly 4) Very poor Air conditioning 5) TVs are not working 6) Telephones are not working, we need to go down to the reception every time for everything 7) We booked an extra bed which they offered only at 11:30pm 8) Sofas are broken 9) Pillows are very nasty including pillow covers 10) No lights in the corridor & stinking with Alcohol & Cigarette smell 11) Only 1 lift is working that is also very small & slow 12) Rooms were allotted to us only after waiting for 2+ hours 13) Very few items in breakfast. There are still more to complain, but space is not enough.

Front desk receptionist are unprofessional .even prior booking they took half an hour to hand over the key.till that we waited at reception area even after long tired journy .rooms are foul smelling ,no bathroom kit ,water bottle & cockroaches roaming inside the room.old cable TV with regional channels only, bathroom was dirty . I have booked for 3 adult & one children with one extra bed .charges paid for that but after lot of follow up provided extra mattress only. Disappointed to book hotel from Agoda.
