Round 2”

Second time here and the bunk bed is very comfortable. I feel more comfortable than a single bed. The hostel is very clean and cute. I like that there is a Japanese-style communal bath with hot water. Everyone writes their room number and you can use it at that time. The bathroom is separate and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helped with luggage.

The accommodation is better than expected, very clean and not far from the train station.”

The accommodation looks ordinary from the pictures, but upon staying there, it was very clean with good rooms and comfortable beds. There is air conditioning and a shared bathroom, but each room has its own dressing area before entering the bathroom. The toilet is separate from the shower room, and there is a bathtub that can be reserved for private use. The accommodation is within a 10-minute walk from the train station.

The price is cheap and the value for money is high. It is about a 10-minute walk from Nishi-Kasai Station. From this station, you can directly access major stations such as Tokyo, Akihabara, and Ueno without transferring.

Great budget hotel with really helpful staff + onsen 10/10 ✨️”

We stayed here from November 10-12, and although it was raining when we arrived, the staff immediately made a great impression with their warm and helpful service. We appreciated their quick attention, which set a positive tone for our stay. During our visit, we enjoyed the onsen, though we wished it were available for a longer period—it's open only from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. The following evening, after returning late from sightseeing, we found the onsen had already been cleaned for the night, which was a bit saddening. I also want to express my thanks to the staff member who assisted me with the luggage scale. Despite it being almost midnight and past office hours, he was patient and kind, even though there was a bit of a communication mix-up (he thought I needed help with lifting my luggage, but we were actually close to our room at the time, and I just needed to borrow the scale) — we did have quite a long discussion, I find the situation funny now that I think about it, something I'd definitely remember whenever I go to Japan. I believe he’s also the same person who helped us with our late check-out request, as we were still drying our laundry. At check-out, the staff provided helpful tips about sending luggage to the airport (which must be arranged three days in advance), something we’ll definitely consider for future trips. Overall, the staff really made a difference in our experience. While we didn’t explore much beyond the hotel, we did notice a lake nearby, perfect for a peaceful morning walk. A tip for future guests: The weather here is a bit cooler than central Tokyo, likely due to the proximity to the lake, so be prepared for lower temperatures, especially in the morning.
