Not a 5-star hotel”
It is impossible for the Mercer Hotel to be a 5 star hotel today, let alone a 5 star luxury hotel. I don't know if it has been the pandemic, but the hotel is far from being a hotel with a service up to what is expected for the price. The staff is friendly, but not attentive: we were constantly going in and out with a baby stroller and only a couple of times did they help us open the door. They did not know how to book us a cab with a baby seat, even though we insisted several times beforehand to check that everything was ready and we were almost late to the station. We asked for room service and they only had a ham and cheese sandwich, a salad and a margherita pizza. Total: 48 euros!!! That's crazy and we felt ripped off. Good thing we booked it with an offer, and even at the discounted price it wasn't worth it.

The Mercer has made a romantic and perfect day for us on our honeymoon. The friendly staff has made our happy day even more perfect. With its convenient location, easy eccess the attractions of Seville. If i go to Seville, I definitely go back to the Mercer. I love this place

Best staff at any hotel”
By any criteria one of the finest boutique small hotels in the world. The location and style were first rate. However the star of the show is to a person the staff were remarkable. When I checked in I mentioned it was my birthday later in the week. How surprised that 3 days later the restaurant, house cleaners and front desk all wished me happy birthday. When I returned from a day of touring a small cake and bottle of cava awaited me in my room It is just one example of the small touches that will make me return

"Fantastico"”
This is a first class hotel, in a perfect location. There is great attention to detail, and everything is of a very high quality from the bed linen, to the table linen, the Limoges china, all the beautiful furnishings and a fantastic collection of coffee table books to read. The staff were all exceptional , nothing was too much trouble, the food was outstanding, and beautifully presented. We did not want to leave and will definately be back.

Yes the « GL » make all the difference and it is unfortunately not always the case The 12 rooms make it cosy and proximity of the service can be felt in every moment. The counterpart of it is that the restaurant has a strategy of excellent products without a chef in the kitchen Transformed Products are bought outside, slow temperature cooked and mainly assembled for your lunch or dinner at the right moment Which is not something bad thing at all and allow to propose a wide range of dishes with one person in the kitchen The only thing, when somebody suggest you a wine it is necessary to be able to comment it positively and where it is from is essential Cocktail bar is excellent Concierge service excellent
