Good place, if ur on budet& travel with shinkansen”
the hotel is a typical japanese business one. you get everyhing you need if ur unprepared, including disposable slippers. the hotel is close to station ~5 min walk. mielparque is indicated on maps in the shin-osaka station, so you dont have to worry about finding it. the internet is provided via ethernet cable so your tablet wont have acces!

The room size was small, but this is standard for Japanese hotels. It was very clean with fast LAN internet connection. The hotel was just a 5 minute walk from Shin-Osaka, and very easy to find. I chose to stay here because I was connecting to Kyoto and Kobe, and needed to catch the train from Shin Osaka. Easy access to public transportation was also a factor in my choice, as subway lines and train lines all pass through Shin Osaka.

Nice 5 star hotel”
A very good hotel, a little bit far from the station especially with heavy bags and some stairs to climb but otherwise easily walkable from the huge shin-osaka station in 10/15 minutes. Close to the hotel the area is rather quiet with only a few restaurants, kombinis and a starbuck (for internet) and you'll find much more lively places to eat at the station. The staff do speak a little of English but not around the clock and you'd rather be prepare to deal in Japanese according to the time of the day. Internet is accessible but only in rooms with cable wire and no WI-FI. Also I couldn't use my 2 French visa cards whereas I could use them at the nearest kombini so make sure you have plenty cash with you or to book the hotel through internet in advance. Also if you need indication on how to reach the hotel, you'd better ask the clerk's train station since the staff at the hotel couldn't guide me from there on the telephone. I had a single room, staff, space, price, facilities, cleanlinless were very good. As a backbacker between 2 youth hostels, I was very glad to find this place.

Great hotel”
Great hotel within 5-10 mins walk of Shin-Osaka station which is served by JR trains, Shinkansen and subway. Nice presentation and nice staff. Good breakfast. Nice spacious room with a nice view. My only issues were the temperature in the room (slightly too warm, despite use of air con ... however, we had a nice big window so that was manageable) and the ceiling vent which allowed cigarette smoke to waft into our room from one of the upstairs rooms in the night. - not ideal for those who loathe cigarette smells! All in all, a good experience and I would stay again.

The staff spoke english and gave good service. Check in/out was fast. You can leave your bags after check out so you can do last minute shopping and come back for it after. 5 minutes away from Shin-Osaka station. Their website offers directions from shin-osaka to the hotel but it involves going through stairs. There's an easier way just look for elevator on JR Central gate side, next to Mcdonalds. Room was dated but clean, complimentary bottled water and tea.

Great location and comfortable hotel”
I thought Mielparque was very good value for money. As with most hotels I stayed at in Japan, regardless of budget or business, the hotel was very clean. It's very simple and functional, but the best reason for choosing this hotel has to be its proximity to Shin-Osaka station. This will give very good access to the Metro lines throughout Osaka, shinkansen trains, JR lines to the east (Kyoto) and west (Kobe)and trains to Kansai International Airport.

*Great location (5 minutes from Shin-Osaka station, + fast food, restaurants, and convenience store 1-2 minutes away) *Staff were very accommodating, courteous, and polite *Room was small by Western standards but pretty decent by Japanese standards *Shaved ice machine, movie machine, and vending machine all located within the hotel

Nice location very near to Shin Osaka station (only 4mins walking) also near to affordable restaurants & supermarkets & convenience stores. Breakfast is very good. The only thing i've noticed was the room was very small but still satisfied & willing to stay again on our next visit or recommend to our friends visiting Osaka.

Good location for Shinkansen”
The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the shin-Oaka train station where all the Shinkansens leave. Also from the same station the osaka metro will take you into downtown osaka in about 15 to 20 minutes. The room was very clean and small which is the standard for Japanese hotels.

Cosy tiny room with everything”
Although the room is tiny, but for what one paid for in Shin Osaka area is pretty good already. The room I stayed in has everything a traveler would need. I was pleased with my stay. The only thing was my Neighbour was smoking and the smell got into my room the whole night. (I booked a non smoking room) It is not too far from the Shin Osaka train station. I only needed a room to stay with an early leave the next day. So it was good enough for that purpose. The only thing I would suggest is the stuffs and the lobby area can be more welcoming.

Stayed here on a quick trip to Osaka. It was close to the bullet trains and Shin-Osaka Station but make sure you have a map for your cab driver as it can be confusing to get to the first time. Clean rooms, internet access, TV, everything you need for a business trip or quick stay vacations.

this room is pretty small but if yor're traveling alone, you'll love this hotel and this room. got fridge and bathtup. and i used free internet. free water. people were so kind and nice. location was also good but if you have much stuff, it's hard to get there. coz you have to walk from shin-osaka station. but don't take a taxi pretty close to station.

A bit tricky to find. Very good value for money.”
Travel alone and was the first noght in Osaka. Getting to Shin Osaka from KIX is effortness with Haruku express. I arrived on a Sunday night and had trouble finding the correct exit at the station even I printed the map out from Google as the instruction in the station was a bit confusing. Exit from north west, walking under a large fly-over and walk across a small park, the hotle is just across the street at a cross road. English name is not shown on the sign though so pls be prepare and check google street view before u go.. Room size for single is small but acceptable. Bathroom and shower maybe a bit too small if u are a big guy. But at least for this price u get ur own toilet. If u are ok with local food there are some really cheap resturant at underground mall of the subway (not to be confused with JR train)

Nice hotel, Clean close to Shin-Osaka Station”
I stayed here for 3 nights in Osaka, I did have some difficulty finding the hotel from Shin Osaka station but if you look at a map before you go you shouldn't have too much trouble. When you exit Shin Osaka station make sure to go out the exit near the Mcdonalds and it's only a 10 min walk. The staff are friendly and helped me out offering some maps and points of interest in the city. The rooms are fairly small but clean and comfortable. There is 7/11 and Lawsons very close by. If your eating out probably best to head into Osaka but Shin-Osaka station has a few options as well. For a solo traveler just looking for somewhere to sleep in between sightseeing and nightlife and would somewhere good value for money then i would definetly stay here again.

Best bargain for travelers staying a short while”
Mielparque hotel does not feel like a 3-star hotel, it felt like 4 stars. Good deal for the short term traveler with a budget and not looking for any place other than one to sleep for the night. Internet service was good. Not far from the subway station. Convenience store right next to hotel.

Excellent. Close to Shin-Osaka station so can easily get to any area in Osaka & the surrounds. The rooms was the largest we've had for business hotels/inns in Japan. Starbucks was very close by.

I forgot to bring a plug for my iPhone but a staff kindly lent one to me. Also I left the room key behind the door when I was about to check out, they said it was fine. Thank you so much! The location is good, closed to Shin-Osaka station.

About 20 minutes walk from Shin Osaka station ”
no wifi service in the room, only lan. there’s a western bar serve free wifi at shin osaka station. just turn on your wifi searching mode and walk around the dinning underground area. you'll find it. shin-osaka station is the only station in osaka where the shinkansen stops. shin-osaka station has interconnects to other parts of osaka. fastest way need to take subway from shin osaka to osaka station, jr pass not cover this route.

Hotel building was big and looked spectacular. Very near to shin-osaka station which then can easily take you elsewhere for sightseeing. Clean and spacious room. Staff are friendly and it was a great value for money!

Great location, near Shin-Osaka station. You have at least 3 small markets around the hotel to buy some food. The bed is very comfortable and staff are very friendly
