nice stay for business travel”
the place is ooutside the city and not easy to be found; however with a car and a navi it worked fine. staff is friendly, rooms are clean und internet was working. i enjoyed my stay
The main thing I would like to stay echoing other travellers is that this hotel does not have an airport shuttle bus despite this advertised as part of its service. It has a cosy relationship with a local taxi firm which means that it can charge 25 euros for the short drive to the airport which it offers to guests as a special price...and city centre taxi firms will charge 25 euros also to bring you to the Minerva when you (for eg like I did) get off a long distance which means you can 50 euros (at least) onto cost of your room if you do not drive. The problem is this is a rip off as many people book this hotel because it comes up on searches as being a Brindisi airport hotel. The breakfast also as other guests have said is very poor: service rude and defensive for eg guests were ordered to move to specific tables, there were no plates available and the bread basket was almost empty, coffee quite weak, no fruit, tolerable juice, Atmosphere minimal. Whilst receptionists were extremely helpful I felt management of this hotel was the problem behind the scenes and also the small television set did not react well to presence of a smartphone and sent out noisy interference signals all night.
Convenient, efficient, value for the money.”
Convenient, efficient, value for the money. Late check-in, early check-out - still a good sleep, excellent breakfast, easy parking, good internet, et cetera in the positive.
Very friendly and helpfuk service”
Having spent 2 weeks in virtual isolation in our excellent resort near Nardo, and as we had a very early flight on the Sunday morning we decided to stay in Bridisi overnight and were lucky to choose the Minerva. The staff were very efficient and friedly, from the housekeeper who would have made an excellent receptionist to the night porter who could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed a superb, reasonably priced meal in the well appointed restaurant served with charm and efficiency. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We managed to grab a few hours sleep before our early start. We caught our flight home with a warm feeling about the last evening of our first Italian holiday.
Minerva was closed”
The hotel is a few miles form Brindisi, advertised as being on a bus route, but the buses were very reduced service over weekends and holidays. This led to an extra 168 euros in taxis and long frustrating waits for buses that did not arrive. At least the UN base (tanks, lorries etc.) next door was on holiday too.
A good Place to Stay”
All in all, I had a nice experience at the Minerva hotel. The staff were excellent and answered all of my questions. The grounds were well kept and the rooms were neat and clean. Room service came everyday including weekends to clean the rooms and the check-in and check out were fairly simple. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Brindisi or San Vito area. There was a bus stop right outside of the hotel and the bus drivers were very helpful in getting me around. I rate this hotel as very good and I would definitely return again.

Minerva hotel; prima verhouding prijs/kwaliteit”
