Location and economy”
It is a great location, close to Ankara castle and museums, there is an impressive mosque just opposite the hotel. It’s close to bus station and a metro, the green and amusement park is just across the road. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Just one thing is breakfast, it is always the same: an egg, some cucumber and tomato, olives, and cheese. Also cornflakes are at your disposal. Good thing it is included in price.
First & foremost is the reception staff, he is not only friendly and helpful but on top of that he is sensitive to your needs. He is swift in checking you in, arranging for your luggage to be carried up to your room. The wonderful thing is we are allowed to check in as early as 0800 after a tiring night bus ride from Istanbul! He even offered free coffee & tea. The reception staff & manager are the most helpful in offering assistance in recommending places to visit during our stay. The room was big enough & very comfortable too. Breakfast was served as a set and it included a free flow of 3 different types of conforn flakes & museli too. Wondeful experience :)
Great value for money”
Room was always super clean, breakfast was good, and the staff was helpful when I needed help. A good choice to stay.
Ok to stay”
The room is overall okay, except the bathroom is small and there is no separation between toilet and shower. Breakfast is alright. The hotel is more like a business hotel than for vacation. But price is reasonable. It is about half an hour walk to the Ankara Castle.
We arrived in midnight, and staff was still waiting us. The breakfast is good, but the taste may not be suitable for Chinese. This hotel is about 9 km away from the bus station to Cappadocia. Thanks to the staff's help, we did not miss the bus.
clean, welcoming, good value”
It was easy walking distance from the railway station. past Luna Park. We found the staff very helpful even though English was a little bit of a struggle. The room was wonderful and we enjoyed our time there. we stayed 2 nights and wished we could have extended a further night as there was more of Ankara sites to see. Very comfortable hotel. Gave us a map to help us get around.
Excellent. Staff were immediately very hospitable, we received a cup of tea as soon as we arrived, and we were assisted with our luggahe to our rooms. My wife was able to get some printing and scanning and e-mailing done with the good offices of the hotel manager.which was greatlyappreciated as this sort of activity is not practicable with the tablet we had taken with us.. They gave us directions to the Ankaran Museum of Ancient Civilisations plus advice on how to get to the metro and buses. Breakfast was a generous Turkish one with extra cups of tea or coffee to set one up until lunch time
Convenient hotel near attractions”
While the staff did not speak perfect English, they did their best and were very friendly and helpful. They were able to give advice by email and arrange a tour for us before our stay. The hotel itself is basic but clean and the breakfast is good. The location is convenient, only 10 mins walk from the old city and main museums. To be recommended for travelers.
location is right in the city centre of Ankara, near to Genclik Parki and some other museums. room is good but the breakfast is just traditional turkish one not buffet. including tea/coffee, one boiled egg, bread and two pieces of cheese, three pieces of cucumber and two pieces of tomato and some olives. generally is good.
location is right in the city centre of Ankara, near to Genclik Parki and some other museums. I already submitted one judgement before you can refer to that one, Ankara it a city worth going, this hotel is also nice :)
Absolutely fine for what we needed overnight”
staff were helpful although english was limited, even on the front desk. breakfast was fine with a cute waiter who reminded us of manuel from faulty towers - not because of his service (which was lovely) but because of his scurrying about. there is no dinner served here so we ate at a local restaurant a couple of doors down for dinner. they spoke only a smattering of english which made for a bit of fun and a few charades. they were so friendly and we enjoyed the food. pretty quiet hotel given that the location is just off one of the main roads.
Nice hotel with a good price”
during staying in this hotel, i simply couldn't find any flaws. the room served its purpose and breakfast was also fine. the staffs were all very kind. of course, if you expect the five-star hotel's service from this hotel, you may be not satisfied. however, considering the price of the room, i found out that i paid more than just a reasonable money for such a pleasant night. only one thing, since the hotel is located in a bit unpopular area, you'd better make a phone call when you first get to the hotel.
budget hotel... value for money abd very helpful staff !
Friendly stuffs and goof lacation”
Little old hotel

It was a nice hotel with good communications to city if you want to expore ankara thats a good location.
Relaxing amidst the bustling city”
It have not good employees
Clean and good value for money”
For those who want to pay Ankara a visit for a day or two, this hotel is good enough, well located and not expensive. Rooms are clean and of a good size in addition to a generous breakfast. From there you can visit around the city by day but the neighborhood is quite calm so nothing much to do at night.
excellent place for touristic purposes”
Our stay (couple) for two nights was well, internet worked, breakfast was enough and fine, so the morning started well. All day we were out, going to touristic sites (all in walkable distance - 15 minutes): Archaeological Museum, Ankara Kale (fortress), Roman baths and sites. If you want to go to the Opera (we did not) it is just 5 minutes. Also access to Metro (station Ulus) is within 10 minutes walk, and the famous Genclik Park, where one can relax and has some will-prices local restaurants and cafes, which serve many Turkish dishes. So for Ankara Mithat Hotel is a cheap, but excellent choice to stay there for some nights.
