Please note about restaurants”
I do recommend this hotel but few things to note: 1) Shuttle bus service is limited to morning and afternoon, not including dinner time. 2) Although they have room service, I did not see the restaurant at all, means we had to go out to other restaurants without shuttle at night 3) Taxi ride from the Chichibu station / village centre is around 2,000 - 2,200yen each way 4) Please note the opening hours of the shops and restaurants in Chichibu, it's so quiet that they have odd opening hours. Although their closest restaurant (2 mins walk from hotel)'s opening hours is until 9pm, they would tell you that it's closed by 7:30pm without giving much reasons because English is limited there. 5) Service is super good, very helpful!

My mother and I could tell how exquisite this hotel was once upon a time. Every room comes with a spectacular view of the mountanous landscape of chichibu with the creek streaming down below. The room was very spacious and exactly what I hoped it would be. Smoking was permitted, which was perfect for my mother. I, on the other hand, suffered some allergy. Some furnitures were torn, stained or damaged. Carpets, walls around the hotel were stained or damaged also and some parts reeked of smoke as well. An overall renovation would really bring some new life into this hotel whose service exceeds all expectations. Absolutely loved the thought and care put into every inch of this hotel, from the entire staff welcoming & sending off the guests to bath houses fully stached with every little item you may need, all of which reflected the heart and spirit of the owner of Hotel Miyama.

Excellent ”
Staying at hotel Myiama exceeded our expectation. Very attentive, kind, cheerful staff. Offered us free drinks during check in, then showed us all the facilities including the Japanese bath and sauna, how to use etc. The rooms were Japanese style and they had beautiful views to the river and mountain. They served free sliced ice sweets which was a real treat! It would be good to be able to have a dinner option - but they pointed us towards a fabulous restaurant nearby. Most relaxing. We loved every minute

Staffs are very nice, good for driving travelers. Facilities are a little bit old but acceptable. There are outdoor and indoor onsen. Outdoor is smaller but very comfortable. Food is nice and delicate.

露天風呂で芯までほっっこり”
川沿いの和室一室で宿泊しました。部屋は綺麗で川が見下ろせて快適に過ごせました。 古い旅館ですが、所々、内装リフォームをしているようで味がでていて素敵です。 スタッフも親身に対応してくれて好印象でした。朝は露天風呂がすいていてゆったりと出発前に体をあっためることができました。ただ、大浴場の湯船の温度がぬるくて出たらすぐに冷えてしまうので少し熱めにしてほしいところ

飯店某些地方雖然老舊，但住的房間還算乾淨，比較不滿意的地方是房間的浴室很小，而泡溫泉的地方整潔度比較差。雖然飯店離市區較遠，但有免費的接駁服務，附近的環境還算不錯，晚餐與早餐還蠻好吃的，以這樣的價錢又有早晚餐，算是很便宜了
