Exceptional stay at a luxurious hotel ”
Location is perfect. You eat your breakfast in front of a beautiful view on the grand Canal overlooking the gondolas. It is a few steps away from Saint Marks Square and few meters from the most luxurious Road where you can find all the top brands around Venice. The stuff is very helpful. The breakfast was amazing including Prosecco and salmon. The rooms were spotless, clean and full of amenities.

Location: Perfect! Right next to San Marco Transportation: Very convenient! Right next to vaporetto stop, airport shuttle boat stop, water taxi stop and gondola service. Shopping: Really close! All kinds of luxury shops within 100 meter. Many other famous maker shops from hotel to Rialto Bridge. Breakfast: Come early! You can eat with fascinating view. Junior Suite experience: Great and comfortable! Appropriate for a family of three. I would stay here again if I come to Venice!

The best hotel in Venice! Beautiful and very comfortable room! Great breakfast served to each person at the tables outside right on the grand canal with the best view to Santa Maria dei Salute, San Giorgio Maggiore island, the Grand Canal etc. that you can't ever forget! The location is excellent. You just walk 3 minutes for Piazza Di San Marco and outside the hotel there is a station for vaporetos, alilanguna and gondoles! I will definately return to this hotel on my next visit at Venice and i fully recommended to everyone!

Nice hotel, nice staff, slightly overpriced. They arrange free transport for Murano island (nice trip but don't fall in buying in the Morano show, things there are at least 3x the price in the shops around piazza san Marco).

Hotel is located 1min walk from place San Marco, next to waterbus station and has nice historical interiers. And thats all... room size is average, bathroom is nice. There is no free bottled water what you would expect for this overpriced room rate. Hotel restaurant has nice view on Grand canal however service take long time.

Unbeatable location but Annex not on the canal”
Booked this hotel under the Monaco and Grand Canal Hotel link but was assigned the Palazzo Selvadego annex room. As I was a solo traveller and didn't need to stay right on the canal, this was fine. But if you want to stay at the MAIN Monaco and Grand Canal Hotel make sure you verify before payment with Agoda. Regardless, the room at the Palazzo, while a bit dark, was still perfect for a single traveller. Decent sized room and large clearn bathroom and stand up shower. I was in Venice to take photos and you literally walk out the door, turn left, and within 20 seconds you're standing in the entrance to San Marcos Basilica/Square. It's a great location. The main hotel is on the canal. You can eat breakfast at the main hotel, and/or lunch at the bar and enjoy the gondalas loading and unloading. It's right in front of the San Marcos water taxi station so even with bags it's not a problem from the Venice train station. (San Marcos is one of the last stops on waterbus Line 1 so prepare for a scenic boatride down the canal). Overall a great hotel and location. The new Angeline Jolie movie, The Tourist, shows this hotel several times during panoramic shots - if it's good enough for Hollywood it's good enough for me!

I was on business in Venice for three days and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Monaco and Grand Canal Hotel. The position is outstanding, being a 3 minute walk to San Marco square and right next to a vaparetto stop. Breakfast took place in a room with a mangnificent view. I was in one of the newer rooms on floor 1A (without a view unfortunately) but with excellent facilities and comfort. This hotel is highly recommended and received a great price too from Agoda

Outstanding hotel. Luxurious rooms and bathrooms with meticulous attention to detail. Completely sound proofed rooms guaranteed a great night's sleep. Service was superb throughout the hotel. The hotel is a two minute walk from the San Marco river bus station which we reached on a wonderful water bus ride straight from the airport. Leaving Venice the main train station was again easily reached by the water bus straight from San Marco stop along the Grand Canal to the station. A truly special experience based around a top class 5* hotel. We will return.

I didn't spend much time inside the hotel rather walking the streets of Venice but the great location of the the Monaco & Grand Canal is perfect to easily access all the well known Venice landmarks.

50th Anniversary Trip”
The Monaco exceeded all expectations! Our room was right on the Grand Canal. The Gondola's were loading literally right out our windows. Dinner on the Monaco Terrace is truly first class. The entire staff and setting could not have been better. The food prep and presentation was the best we have had in years.
