Excellent location, helpful staff, value for money”

I must say thank you to all the reception staff, they are so friendly and helpful during my stay! They recommended me excellent Flamenco dance show at good price and just nearby! Hotel is located at the city center with bus to & fro the airport for just 3 €, eating and shopping just around! Granada is such a beautiful city with rich Muslim and Christian cultures!

Fantastic little hotel in an amazing location”

We booked online having read other reviews of the hotel. When we arrived we were amazed at how close to all the attractions the hotel was. Everything is within walking distance,( if you are able bodied & not adverse to hill climbing). There is a great road train that stops right by the hotel for a tour of the town as well. Taxis are cheap & every where. The hotel is up a small side street & many of the rooms look out onto side streets. You are in town, there is noise. We were in room 203 & the evening noise outside is audible; you are in a city, not the countryside. If you want peace & solitutude, do a different holiday! We loved the choice at breakfast (7 euros each), the cleanliness of the whole hotel, the large rooms with great bathrooms, our little balcony & being able to see the hubbub of city life passing by. Great staff on reception, all very helpful. A perfect city break hotel.

            Alhambra ”

Granavision tours will pick you up here . If you confirm with them (to be certain get them to put it in writing be email ) they will come into the hotel and walk you to their bus ( 1 block) . Ate at Carmella , not too cheap , but right behind hotel. La Alborea flamenco 2 short blocks away. Also if you reserve in advance , the restaurant that's touted as #1 ( Mercer I think) is 1/2 block past flamenco. I wish I would have emailed Monjas and had them call to reserve the table for me, (I didn't want to hassle calling from US on my calling plan and with language barrier) apparently that restaurant only takes calls in the morning, no email. breakfast is sufficient but minimal. Same restaurant is a wildly noisy bar. If you can , don't stay on back side of hotel and stay on top floor to avoid all night noise. You will not be able to open windows because of this and rooms get pretty hot , so you will really want to. Staff English limited but you'll get by. Also they're a bit surly, but ok

Excellent location! It is actually located in a quiet lane behind the main road. It is basic room. A bit old but functional. We requested a quiet room and we were given a good quiet room away from the central atrium. We were in Granada on a rainy day. It was good to have a big umbrella that hotel provided to keep us dry. Overall a good night stay.

Fantastic night's stay at the hotel. Clean, modern, well located in the old city, minutes' walk to the Alhambra. Bus stop and Taxi stand just steps away from the hotel. Carmena restaurant, opposite the restaurant entrance to the hotel, serves great tapas at very reasonable prices.

Our room was very clean and The staf very helpful and service minded. The price is fair for what you get. It is close to the Alhambra and Albaicin. Two things.. it is great that The hotel offers parking but if you have a slightly "bigger" car - ask the staff to driver it down for you. Also, the parking is not included and a bit pricy.

            Comfortable hotel in great location”

            Location, design, comfort

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and we'd definitely recommend it. Great location downtown, near the cathedral, shops and restaurants. Local bus to the Alhambra is just around the corner, which is also within walking distance if you don't mind a bit of uphill. Hotel design is very modern, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. The onsite car park is expensive and only suitable for very small cars. Narrow ramps and tight turns to get to most parking levels. If you're in a rental car it can be very daunting! Restaurant is OK for breakfast but a bit soulless for dinner.

Not very helpful reception but room and location is great!”

Everything is great with this hotel but one thing that really blew our experience off is the unfriendly attitude from the Receptionist. We enquired about booking tickets for a Flamenco performance that we found ourselves but didnt have the access to book the tickets. Instead of saying that she'll check or that she'll try even if she may not have the ability to assist in the booking, her reply was just "I don't know" to every single question that we asked. We understand if receptionists are not able to help out for everything but it's worth showing some sort of effort rather than to just do an outright rejection. It's extremely rude and off-putting. This is a dark haired lady, the rest of the staff are actually very nice. Besides the rude receptionist, the location of the hotel is really good. A good distance to key city centre iconic landmarks and also easy access to the Alhambra.

The hotel is very sweet to offer every booking a customized postcard and paper fan, with the city's siteseeing highlights and the hotel logo on it. The gift is not value for money, but it makes clients feel like home. The hotel is just a stone's throw to Cathedral, the bus stop to Alhambra Palace and the main street where one can find all restaurants, bars and shopping places. Internet is easily accessed with high speed, which is proved by smooth facetime with my family overseas.

Short stopover viewing the wonderful sights of Granada”

Location was very central but a bit 'back street' with no views. Very clean and cool interior. Underground parking below the hotel at an additional cost, but very good. Buffet breakfast if paid for was good value. Desk staff very friendly and helpful, with information regarding tourist attractions and maps etc. Would stay there again.

No frills hotel, just sleep and check out”

Near the alhambra (though an uphill 15min walk), free wifi, away from main street

Upon arrival there was no one at the reception and we had to wait 20mins for someone to show up. She was polite and quickly checked us in. The room was simple with not much of a 'design', and quite different from online photos. room had a slight stench of old furniture, though it appeared clean. I didn't make a fuss because we really just needed it to sleep for the night and head to Alhambra the next day. The hotel was also not accommodating to our late check out request, and even when we asked if we could PAY a half day charge to be allowed to check out at 5pm (we wanted some place to rest before our flight) they said the hotel was full. But then i went to the Agoda website and there showed many rooms still available for that day.....
