Location is good. But air-con did not work. ”
The location of the hotel is perfect. 5 min to Lafayette and Opera station. Things are clean in general. I stayed there in Winter. On the first night, we found that the air-con did not work. The staff told us that the air-con on the same floor didn’t work but there is no empty room for us. The second night the staff gave us another room on another floor, but the air-con also didn’t work. Since the weather was cold (0 degree), and there is no fresh air in the room, we had no choice but to open the window. For those who care a lot about fresh air and will stay here in Winter, you may want to seriously consider this.

Plus points are: - very good location (near Opera) - cleanliness - helpful staff Areas for improvement include: - outdated door lock (traditional key) - the reception area is rather cramped (hard to navigate when more than 2 guests are present) - no proper space for luggage storage

Exceptional”
I happened to be at Monsieur Helder on the day Team France won the World Cup. There was a parade outside and I didn't hear a thing from the room. Very quiet and comfortable, definitely would come again.

Excellent Location!”
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The hotel is situated very close to Opera Garnier and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The metro station is easily accessible as it is only a 3-min walk away from the hotel. The hotel room itself is lovely and clean although rather small. We will come back if we choose to visit Paris again.

For the money, it is difficult to find a hotel as nice and clean is this. Very close to the opera and public transportation, this little hotel is a good fit for people who care more about seeing Paris than staying in their hotel room. Small toilets but very good beds. If you want a better hotel, pay twice as much. Good value!

just stayed there 2 weeks ago. The hotel is clean and in great location. You can use 3 Metro stations(Opera, Richelieu-Drouot,Chaussee D'antin-Lafayette) within 5 min walking distance. Rossiy bus stop from/to CDG airport is maybe 10 min walk. plenty of restaurants/bars are near by. Yes room is small..elevator is for 1 person with a suite case. ...but with their price range, i think the hotel provided great service and a clean room. They changed towels every day. The staff have smile and courtesy every time I asked anything. The only thing I didn't like so much was a bath room. A bathtub is covered half by kinda like a plastic shield...so bath room floor tends to be quite wet...a fan in bath room is quite weak, A room does not have many electronic power outlets. If you need to use multiple devices in a room, I suggest to get a splitter

Great location and really friendly staff”
The hotel is within 5 minutes walk from the drop off of Roissybus direct from CDG airport. It's a comparatively quiet street off from the main boulevards so it's safe to walk to hotel at night and yet quiet enough for the stay. We were given a double bed room on the top floor. we were told from rrviews that the rooms are quiet small but still it surprised it with its size! We could only manage to open one suitcase at a time but since we spent more of the time wandering in Paris so it's not really a big problem to us. The only thing is, the shower and toilet were separated and the toilet room barely closes while we are in it because it's simply too packed in there thus it may work for couples but not friends, you may need to check with reservation when you make your booking. There is a small elevator for one person and two suitcases so no worry about needing to carry your luggages up 6 floors. Overall we were happy with the money spent for its convenience. We spent two nights but literally 48 hours in Paris only during our transit to other city. On departure day, we checked out and left out suitcases there and went on shopping and sightseeing in Galerie Lafayete and Printemp which are both 5-8 minutes walking from hotel, then we returned, repacked out stuff and off we left, 20 minutes later we were already on Roissybus to the airport. It lets you make the best use of time if you are as hurry as we were to enjoy Paris!

Amazing staff and services”
We were staying in the hotel 2 nights and had to go outside paris for 1 night then went back to the hotel again for another 2 nights, Alex was helpful and kind enough to have our baggages stored in the hotel while we’re away. Asma (don’t know if we pronounce it right) was also so lovely and helpful during our stay. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in the hotel, and the location was perfect. The improvement we think the hotel should have would be their shower during our 2nd stay there; the shower door wouldn’t close properly,secondly would be the AC during our first stay; it wasn’t cold enough especially with the heat during summer. Other than that, everything was perfect.

helder opera is close to major shopping center and metro station(opera station), both in walking distance (around 5 mins) so many restaurants nearby can access to airport by roissy bus staff are quite friendly

Great location, but room is not pretty”
It was good overall as I was in Paris mainly for shopping. 5 mins walk to Lafayette/ printemps, 10 minutes walk to all big brands flagship stores. fastfood, bars, restaurants are just stone-throw away. 5 mins walk from metro (Opera)/ 8 mins from RER (Auber) But honestly, for the rate I was charged, there are more options with similar location but prettier room. The room I stayed was kind of old, worn out, looks like an old rental room instead of a proper hotel room. don't expect yourself to "feel like" you are in Paris if you are checking into this hotel. don't choose this hotel if you want to be romantic. Staffs were helpful and polite but you need to communicate to them face-to-face to other for them to understand you, I've tried talking to them on the phone and I was told to talk face-to-face in the lobby because he/ she couldn't understand what I was saying on the phone (ya.. weird). There were charges to our breakfast but we were not told until we checked out, kind of a disappointment as they should have told us about the charges instead of asking "will you eat breakfast in the morning?" which was quite misleading. All and all, it's not bad, but it's really not awesome at all, to me, it was really about the location and the accessibility.

Great stay in Paris”
The 4 front desk staffs are all super friendly. The location is convenient and has lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, also close to the metro station by a 5-minute walk. The room is really fresh and clean. It is not big but enough for us to expand our 2 26' suitcases and still got space. Will definitely come back when we visit Paris again!

Travel as family”
It was great value for money and location was great. We were there for holiday and having pre-wedding shoot. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Informed them in advance that we need a cab to pick up us to destination for shooting and during to rain we got to delay and wait for later timing of cab. They were there to access us and help us cancel and re-book again despite the taxi driver was angry with us and is during peak hour. Good service and appreciated their help. Will go back and stay again if to visit Paris in future.

A hidden treasure”
The hotel is very close to the Opera and the shopping district but it located in a very quiet street. The hotel is small but yet very new, clean and modern. The elevator is small(only fit one person with suitcase). The breakfast is not free but very delicious(cost: 15 Euro).
