Not as good as Hotel Monterey Kyoto. But still acceptable.
We had the benefit of staying at more than one Hotel Monterey in Japan. The one in Kyoto was simply fantastic. By comparison, the Ginza Monterey was worse. The rooms were smaller. The front entrance not as grand. The choice at the buffet breakfast was poorer. The juice, bread rolls, etc. frequently ran out, coffee machine was out of order, etc, although if you asked a staff member the problem was attended to. On reflection these were probably minor things, and the hotel is OK if you aren't too concerned about frills.

lack wash machine
all the service is good,but lacking the wash machine lead to that we must wash clothes by hands and the laundry service is not cheap

Conveniently located in Ginza
The main Ginza shopping area is only one block away, the Higashi Ginza metro line is right nextdoor (this is not on the Ginza line! The nearest Ginza line station is a 5-10 minute walk) The hotelroom and bathroom are fresh and have clean, nice decor. Breakfast is a sufficient choice in western and Japanese style food. Would stay again.

Wrong choice
Hotel rooms are clean and tidy but rather small. Staffs are sneaky and inflexible. Have some trouble with staff due to a cultural differences.

The rooms booked through Agoda are so small that my 2 medium size suitcases took all the walking sp
The breakfast is excellent as well the nice dining room. The staff impeccable as well as the food. This is the second time I have chosen this hotel, and if I have the opportunity to come back to Tokyo, definetly I will go there.
