Great Hotel”
We stayed at this hotel prior to our cruise. This hotel was easy to get from Narita. We hopped on the limousine bus which stopped next door to our hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. The hotel is close to Chinatown and the subway stations were close too. Unfortunately it rained on the day that we were to board the ship because it would have been a nice walk there.

Great stay before our cruise”
We spent 2 nights at the Monterey before our cruise. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Very close to Chinatown and the subway. We did not have time to try the restauramt. Very close to the port, unfortunately it wee rainy on our embarkation so we took a cab. Great value.

Great hotel, walking distance to cruise terminal”
Our family of 7 (ages 13-81) stayed at Hotel Monterey Yokohama for one night prior to cruise ship embarkation. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only inconvenience is that keycards are needed for the elevator and will only stop on our one floor; since we had one room on a different floor, we had difficult accessing it. We did not partake in the hotel breakfast and chose to walk to nearby McDonalds. Hotel locked our luggage in the lobby with net and padlock while we toured Yokohama. Walking distance to Red Brick Shopping Warehouse, Chinatown, Cat Cafe Leon. We then toted all our luggage to the cruise ship terminal without too much difficulty.

Great location & stay”
We had a high floor standard twin room which looked out to the harbour. Room and beds were comfortable, and the bathroom adequate. It was clean also. Quiet room with minimal outside noise. The usual free wifi which worked well, but no english language tv channels. Breakfast selection was good, with views over the harbour. Staff friendly and understood english throughout the hotel. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic location for osanbashi pier. Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Three downsides: 1. No bus from haneda or Narita to hotel, needed to drag luggage from Yamashita park stop. 2. No luggage transfer from hotel to pier. 3. Reserved non smoking room, but only had smoking.

Staff is courtesy and efficient. Location is close to park, several museums, pharmacy and eateries. Within 10 mins walk to metro. Spacious compared to most of japanese hotel. I specially like the different design of the mugs.

Superb location next to the park”
The hotel is just across Yamashita Park. Easy access to the light illumination over there during winter. Closeby is convenient store, McDonald, and resturant (just walk to the right), or supermarket (at the back). A few minutes walk to Motomachi-Chugakai station and also China Town. Room was spacious even for the three of us, but quite dated. Restroom ok though it can be cleaner (left over hairs not removed). Didn't try B/F (2300 JPY) since we got up late always. Worth staying if you enjoy leisurely walking at the park.

Smoking room smelled very much. If you are not smoker, I strongly recommend to book non-smoking room. Ocean view should be better to stay.

The best location with great view”
Everything was good enough and liked it but just the smell of the room when I entered wasn’t so good. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but I felt it was a bit smelly. Other than that, I would love to come again.
