Lovely little hotel, amazing location”
We happened to stay at Monterosa shortly after the 3rd lockdown in Paris. Eventually, we also spent 2 nights because of pipeline issues (apparently, the hotel was closed for an entire year). However, the hotel staff was amicable, and they quickly helped us moving to Joyce hotel across the street with no extra charge. In both hotels, breakfast was tasty - though I wish there were more vegetarian options. Also, drinks and appetizers are available 24x7 for free in the useful hotel bar and room minibar. The hotel staff spoke great English and assisted us in getting to know the area, which had metro lines and plenty of fine restaurants to visit. My only suggestion is to have slightly higher tables (as tall people, it was uncomfortable for us to sit) and shampoos in the shower (they ran out of those in both hotels). All in all, I recommend staying in both hotels to anyone visiting Paris, whether it's a couple or a family.

Hotel staff (Oliver) made our stay at Monterosa Hotel a pleasant and memorable one. He is knowledgeable (navigation around Paris, provides good recommendation on places to visit and how to get there, literally mapped out the centre of Paris to us upon our check-in) , helpful and friendly/ his attentiveness towards hotel guest is commendable. Most of the hotel staff are approachable and friendly. Location is convenient, walking distance to the main shopping district. Additional perks with the tea-time snacks/ tea/ coffee. The room is small but cozy and comfortable for long-stays. Never have we met such courteous and amiable hotel staff, definitely praiseworthy!! Overall an enjoyable stay at Hotel Monterosa. Thank you Oliver and all the hotel staff for making our stay a comfortable one !

Great hotel with a nice concept”
The Monterosa is modern, cosy, clean and the staff is friendly. The room is not big but functional with a comfortable bed and the shower is very good. Breakfast is also very good with a lot of choices, hot and cold. It is part of the Astotel chain that has many hotels in Paris and they have an open bar from 2pm to 2am. You can stop by at any sister hotel and sip a drink or use their clean toilet, which is a huge plus. We have seen so many tourists waiting in line to use the few public toilets. You will not find a better option at this price range. Book at Monterosa!

Two night fantastic stay!”
We were more than satisfied with Hotel Monterosa and very pleasantly surprised at this small hotel and the facilities & the breakfast surpassed our expectations . Louise & her staff were absolutely wonderful - assisted us with such patience & friendliness and went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed help with - mainly directions and printing our e-tickets for Versailles. The neighborhood was great and we found places to eat around the hotel which was very convenient. Although the room was small, it was had everything we needed although a slightly bigger second bedside table would've been more practical in Room 504. The room however was quiet & cosy & had a great bathroom. Thank you to the staff of Hotel Monterosa for making us feel so welcome. We hope to return some day!

Great Hotel, great location ”
The Monterosa is a well located hotel, close to the metro and shopping district. Lots of great restaurants and bars close by. The room was well appointed, comfortable with a nice bathroom and very clean. Our breakfast was an additional 10€ but was well worth it with a nice selection. The staff were always helpful. One great addition was the free mini bar with soft drinks and free afternoon tea which was available until late at night. Always appreciated when we got back to the hotel.

All you can ask for in a Paris hotel”
I can't rave about this lace enough. Last time we stayed in Paris we were very disappointed with a different hotel so were unsure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised at the monterosa. The area is perfect for walking around and finding a beautiful place to eat and walk to the various shops or catch the subway. The rooms and hotel itself is perfect, the rooms are on the small side but that iscwhat we have come to expect in Paris. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Comfortable hotel, great location, nice breakfast”
This hotel was lovely for a six-night stay in Paris. Wonderful location for exploring north of Opera/Pigalle area. Walk back and forth to the Louvre for a longer walk. The room and bed were comfortable, clean room, good service and helpful staff. The included breakfast was lovely and had everything that you could want before a long day of exploring Paris!

Lovely hotel, good location but small rooms”
The hotel is very good located. You can go on foot to the Opera, Moulin Rouge, Montmarter (all less than 30 min walk).There are good public transport connections near the hotel. The rooms were clean but small. Maybe it is standard for Paris. The breakfast was very good - typical French breakfast. And finally: free WiFi is really 24h free! Not like many other hotels 1-2 hours per day.

Great stay in monterosa”
The breakfast is delicious, the staffs are friendly and willing to help, it's close to metro about 10 mins walk ! The staff always show their smiling face! I would definitely return to monterosa when I'm in Paris!

Perfect”
The staff at check in knew us by name upon our arrival (we haven't even presented agoda voucher/ID yet). She was very friendly and welcoming, explained to us the nearest metro and even checked out how to get to laduree. She took our luggages in as the room was not ready yet and gave us bfast vouchers (when suppposedly breakfast was for the next day). When we were about to leave for sightseeing, she offered us to take bottled water along, what a service! I am impressed! In the evening when we return, there was champagne waiting in our room! And a letter congratulating us since we were on honeymoon. The morning staff when we checked out were also very helpful, helping us to get a taxi and even offered us to have coffee and croissant (when the bar was not yet opened and it was only 6am!), they also have an open bar after bfast until late at 10pm. The only thing i am disappointed is that i should have booked this hotel again upon our return to Paris (already booked another hotel that offered no cancellation! But hopefully it will turn out as excellent as this!)

Super friendly and helpful staff, unforgettable”
My first impression of Paris is a luggage stolen in the train station within 15 mins of arrival. I was so down and depressed and I cannot associate Paris with romance but theft. However, after arriving this hotel, the friendly staff over there changed my impression of Paris people. They were helpful in guiding us to nearby police station, offering free international emergency call to the banks for us and offering us some free drinks and stuff. It's not about what they offered but about their helpful and empathizing attitude. Excellent. Special thanks to a staff.

staff is very nice, room is clean, the hotel very near galeries laffayete, the different with other hotels in paris that they provide some snacks in their hotels group, so we can take a rest after a long walk in paris

Awesome Parisian Experience”
The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The unlimited snack was awesome after a tiring day. Location is great. Moulin rouge, Grevin Musuem, Opera, Louvre are at a walking distance from the hotel. We had a wonderful stay!

Splendid boutique hotel with great staff”
We had no issues over anything and, in fact, the hotel staff, rooms and food available exceeded our expectations in very area. In the evenings, the breakfast/snack room allowed us to enjoy and evening wine (which we bought) chilled with ice which the staff provided for us on request. We were a large group (6 adults and two teenagers) but all requests - whether for local knowledge of restaurants (lots of good ones if you search a little or ask advice) or shows (The Lido proved exceptional) or for taxis (8-seaters are not easy to obtain) - was done with charm and ease. The hotel's location was in easy walking distance of Sacre Couer (10 minutes), Galleries Lafayette (15 minutes), L'Opera (15 minutes), the Louvre (25 minutes) - and there were 2 Metro stations very close - Liege and Saint George for access to the Eiffel Tour, Musee de Rodin, etc, and from Saint Georges the RER ran to Versailles in half an hour. So an excellent location.

a good hotel for your travel but weak service”
This hotel is easy to find and not far from the subway station. The decoration of this hotel is good and their room is clean and also has proper decoration. My room faces the street, we can see the street view with romantic light in night throw the room window. The free self-bar provides many drinking, cookies, tomato and coffee. It's really a big merit for guests living there. In summary, we feel that we made a good choice for us when traveling in Paris.

Nice three start tourist hotel with good service”
Very decent three-start hotel in District 9, near Place Pigale and Clichy. The locaiton itself is calm and pretty, without any noise and buzz of nearby entertainment area. Quite sizeable (for Paris, of cource) rooms with simple yet elegant design. Free WiFi and also free snack and soft drinks in a bar since afternoon. Breakfast is sumptous, last until 11 am but costs 12 Euro.

Well Located Hotel”
Excellent stay over new years at this well placed hotel. Within easy walking distance of a number of metro stations. The room was compact but comfy, only minor issue was a bedside light not working. For a city location we had the space we expected and a comfy bed and good bathroom. The common area was excellent with a great breakfast spread. On new years eve champagne and cheese was served, perfect and a nice touch. Would recommend and would certainly stay here again!

simple & modern hotel”
Overall a good value for money stay in a modern hotel. Overall room and breakfast were marginal but satisfying. Friendly reception with free soft drinks, tea & coffee offer. Room was not too big, but was clean and new. some furniture was very, very basic biy overall no problems. Nice feature was the free wireless which is rather exceptional in Paris. Rooms were a bit soundy, with especially late at night and in the early morning lots of sound from 'neighbours' coming & leaving. Breakfast was rather minimal in a very small breakfast area.
