Tremedous value. Ideal for friends or solo travellers”
Right in the center of Paris, a few steps away from the Louvres, Hôtel Montpensier was an amazing find. The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was better than expected for this price (old historical building with very high ceiling, pretty gorgeous). The only downside would be the soundproofing of the bathroom : you hear everything going on in there. Not very romantic if you're a couple.

Excellent location - good bang for buck”
Excellent location in the heart of Paris. We had a great time, and Hotel Montpensier is great value for money. It could be more luxurious if they provided duvets instead of comforters.

Gooood location and friendly staff ”
It is easy to access every tourist's spot - Eiffel tower, Notre dame, Montmarte, Champs Elysees, Le marie, Opera...etc. of course Louvre - because hotel montpensier is in the middle of Paris. I can stop by at the hotel anytime when I get tired or my shopping bags get too much heavy. Room was little bit small, but clean. And our toilet in the room was big and clean. (I booked a twin room with shower, but Montpensier offered me a bathtub. yay! It is possible to access a free wifi, and it works very well in the room and lobby. All staff were kind and offered nice service. The downside is small elevator. I have never seen such a little elevator. But there is no problem to work.

Great little hotel in Paris”
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Montpensier. The hotel is older, but is well maintained. The room was small, but comfortable. It was clean and quiet. The location is near the Louve, and there are cafes nearby. The staff went out of their way to help us find our way around Paris. I recommend the Hotel as long as you don't expect a 5 star hotel at a 3 star price point.

I went to Paris for 2nights. I arrived around 10am but luckily the room was available. I didn't expect much because of the cheap price but the room was ok, especially the bathroom. Staff were very nice as well. I did not have breakfast there so I cannot tell you if it is good or not. But I thought it would be better to eat outside in a patisserie rather than having a bit of croissant&pain au chocolat for 10euros..! Overall, I think the hotel montpensier, literally being in the center of Paris, offers quite nice service compared to its price!

Nice lodging in good location”
I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Montpensier for 3 nights. This hotel is conveniently located near the Palais Royal metro station - which took me 3 mins to walk from the station exit and 5 mins away from The Louvre museum! Restaurant, cafe and supermarket is just close within walking distance ! The hotel staffs are friendly and they speak good English. The hotel has a really old fashion narrow elevator, but I found it cute and useful when we need to move our luggages to the room. We were in a cozy twin bed room, the beds are comfy and the bathroom is clean. The only cons of this hotel - we could hear the noise on the street as it is near the bar , but this problem could easily settled by closing the window. Overall, this is a good hotel to stay in Paris.

Great value, better location! Recently renovated!”
The say was great. It was easy to find, fast check-in, we're upgraded from a double to a room the sleeps 3! Elevator was typical of Paris, np but was great for luggage, or two people skipping stairs. The room was recently redone, new furnishing and bathroom. Very nice and classy, with two large windows facing interior courtyard. Ultimately, what made this stay perfect was the location!!!!! We were only 2 blocks from the Louvre, Tules gardens, ans Sein River. Most all other attractions were only about a 30 min walk away. Great little restaraunts, backeries, and cafes in the area. The hotel is on a less busy one way street, quest at night, a little busier during the day.

Near Lourve, comfortable and strategic location”
We felt great and comfortable of staying in Hotel Montpensier, just less than 5 minutes walking distance to Musuem Lourve, Place de Concorde and Palaise Royal - Musee de Lourve Metro station. About 15 minutes walking distance to Opera Garnier and Galaries Lafayette if you want for Branded bags shopping,snacks and restaurant easy to find. Free Wifi just request for the ID and password on individual basis. The staff very helpful. But the Lift pretty small, only able to allocation one person one luggage. Generally, very satisfy to stay in this hotel, Strongly recommended if you looking for budget,clean hotel, and near to attraction spot.

Great location”
I stayed there for several nights at the end of January. It is a sweet little hotel though it is under some major construction. It didn't bother me though I had to walk through the stairs they were renovating. They gave me a big room. I guessed there weren't too many guests due to a slow season. Staff members were friendly when I spoke to them in English. It is literally a 5-min walk to Musee du Louvre. I pretty much walked on my feet without taking subways to the major sights. I hope their sweet price won't go up when the renovation is done. The price and location are the charm of Hotel Montpensier.

City centre overnight stay”
The stay in Hotel Montpensier was relatively pleasant. It includes every basic necessity that you need for travelling i.e towels, bar soap. Overall, this was a great hotel and very close proximity to Louvre Museum and places like Opera House, Concorde and Rue Saint Honoré are in walkable distance.

Good location, standard room, good for citytrip!”
this is an adorable hotel to stay at when you want something simple. i had a shared toilet and shower, but i had my own sink and mirror in my room. i stayed there on my own, being a girl, i really loved the fact that it was in such a safe neighbourhood. the people at the front desk were really nice, i could ask them for anything. and when i had to checkout, it was no problem leaving my luggage there for the rest of the day, so i could walk around town for my last day without a suitcase. the location is perfect and safe, its right between the louvre and the opera house, and its just a little walk to the champs d'elysee. if you want a simple hotel, for a couple of nights, on a good location, and you're not afraid to walk across the hall with a towel in your wet hair, i would definitely recommend this hotel!

Perfect Location”
Loved that it is walking distance to the Louvre, to nice shops and restaurants and the Big Bus Tour stop!!! Not a very busy area and each room is unique- like a boutique hotel. Room maybe small BUT that is like most European rooms, and worked best for us since we are just there to sleep. We were out most of our waking hours! Staff were all friendly , can speak English and answered a lot of our "touristy" questions. Stayed with them for 4 nights with a break in between!

A place to stay - but that's all”
I stayed in the cheapest room I could find in this area of Paris - it showed. Although I didn't expect much, the room was small, the bathroom was a converted cupboard, and the room - although not dirty - wasn't clean. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that. But the location was fantastic. I could hear some of the traffic on the quiet road outside, but that's to be expected from a city hotel. The staff were polite and even spoke English. The location was GREAT - just a 3 minute walk from the Louvre. The check-out time was fairly late (11.30am) which helped a lot. The communal use shower was fine - nothing special. All in all, this is exactly what I expected from a 2 star budget hotel. Not great, but good if you're back-packing or only using the hotel to sleep in.

Absolutly good location around by several museum ”
We were museum visit trip, the location is really good, which just walking distance for several museum, like 3 mins to Musee du Louvre, 10 mins to Musee d'Orsay, 10 mins to Musee de I'Orangerie. So, we could fully used our 4 days Museum pass. The hotel is clean and silent, we had good rest after huge walking those day. The staff is helpful & polite, and they clean-up the room everyday. We had not take the breakfast in hotel, because there is quite a lot café around hotel, but I think it was good, and the price was reasonable.

Good location, but shared bathroom”
hotel is in very good location, 10 min on foot from louvre. friednly staff. rooms are clean and kinda big compare with other european hotels. bathrooms are shared, but clean. elevator is very narrow, so if you carry big bags, it might be a problem.

This place is an easy access to any tourist spot specially the Louvre. Near to Metro and Restaurant. Cons is there is no aircon in the room but ok beacause we just open the window and viola we have a cool breeze from the outside
