Exceptional”
Hotel Moon Light Palace was so delightful! Our room (the honeymoon suite!) was huge with a great private patio. The hotel is tucked into a side street which helped not to have as much traffic. We were there during Diwali and watching the fireworks go off around the city was phenomenal! Their rooftop restaurant was a great space for any time of day. We enjoyed a variety of Indian and Continental cuisine. Unfortunately I got very ill with sinus problems and the staff was so nice to me. They called and checked up on me and even offered a house doctor because he was on-sight for another guest! Thank you for your genuine concern and attempts to help enhance our stay. Transportation from the rail station was included in our rate. We enjoyed that tuk tuk driver, Khan, so much we continued to use him throughout our stay. We also used their laundry service which was fantastic and efficient. Thank you for all your hard work and help in making our trip to Jaipur as enjoyable as possible!

Good introduction to India”
Nice hotel, quite an eye opener into Indian culture and hospitality, can be somewhat noisy at times, nice restaurant with very reasonable prices and tasty food. Owner and manager friendly and easy to engage. Quite far from Jaipur centre but easy to access via Tuk-Tuk or taxi. Generous room with balcony and interesting decor. Would go back next time in Jaipur

Nice staff, value for money”
Pros- Pocket friendly Very near to Jaipur railway station (1.5km) Nice staff (we had a night train so want to check out later, so after sightseeing they provided one small room for changing and waiting for a couple of hour without any extra charge, saved my one day hotel bill) They provide good auto service (Mr Khan) for sightseeing at very reasonable rate) Rooftop restaurant with distant view of Nahargarh fort at night Cons- Food is good but over prized Bit far from main city and airport but who are travelling by train no problem Overall rating 4.5

nice place”
•upgraded my room at no extra cost... •i like to walk most everywhere so i do wish it was a bit closer to the sights: pink city, hawa mahal, jantar mantar, etc...but hiring a tuktuk for the day usually does the trick...ask for khan (need a tuktuk to get to amber palace regardless...) •quite close to jaipur junction railway station so it is feasible to walk (approx 1km/15minutes) but they do provide station pick-up which is beneficial for a late arrival

Great Place- Clean, Nice Helpful Staff, Relaxing”
Very nice hotel. Nice touches in the room with flowers painted on the walls and ceilings in the traditional style. Raaz was very helpful with culture question, booking trains and for general Jaipur info. I had a great stay

Value for money”
Quick friendly check in. Bags carried. We were upgraded automatically by Agoda when booking to Super Deluxe rooms. Rooms on 3 Rd floor. Nice and large. Clean bathroom with excellent shower with hot water. The hotel has wood fire heater on roof. Internet was good and stable. Roof top restaurant with good choice of menu. Friendly staff with prompt service. Prices of meals were quite expensive when you compare to what you can get elsewhere and street food. Quiet location. Recommended.

Beautiful Decor ”
I stayed here 4 night's and had a good stay. Like everywhere in India it can be noisy and the WiFi was patchy in my room, 1st floor, but I got by. Bonus, the water for showers was hot. It's a bit out of the main city but tuk tuks, taxi's and bus are close by. Just ask Kamel, he'll sort you out. The decor of the hotel is beautiful hand painted walls and ceilings. There's a rooftop resturant with some happy guy's who'll do some nice tasting food. Beer's available to enjoy the sunset view. The railway station is an easy walk away. A good hotel at a good price. Well worth a stay here.

nice place to stay, not in the very center”
Friendly staff and nice restaurant, not in the very center of Jaipur, but very close to it. Unfortunately close to the Hotel there was a siren ringing often during the day and sometimes also in the night and the staff told me that it is due to a factory (or something like that) and that such sound is a recall for the employers (very odd explanation to be honest). Price is not high, but anyway not even cheap. I'd reccomend it if it wasn't for the noisy siren.

Great Staff”
Friendly helpful staff & Manager. Spent time trying to work out best situation for us - 4 adults & 3 kids. Riwa, the waiter in the roof restaurant was outstanding. Happy guy & a perfect waiter / entertainer. We also used 2 of their cars to tour Jaipur. Both drivers were very good. Manu very knowledgeable about Jaipur

A lovely hotel, a bit out of the way”
a lovely hotel just outside the centre of jaipur. a 15 minute drive from the train station or old city (though drivers not arranged through the hotel struggled to find it). good clean rooms at reasonable rates, a decent rooftop restaurant and staff who are happy to help arrange anything - including good reliable taxi/auto-rickshaw drivers.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff in quiet location not far from rail station”
We arrived at 5am after a much delayed train from Delhi. We were able to go straight to our very nice room (honeymoon sweet), spacious and very clean and checked in properly after some sleep. The hotel was able to provide us with a wonderful driver guide called Khan who took us to all sorts of wonderful places over the next couple of days. Freshly prepared breakfast and dinner on the rooftop terrace. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Very good rooftop resturant”
I stayed for 3 nights in their double bedroom without AC. It was a nicely decorated room with all the amenities one would expect. The rooftop restaurant has a good view and the food was wonderful, which is good and surprised even a few Indian guests. The young hotel manager was helpful, but a little pushy at times and the prices he quoted for transport were inflated.

Nice hotel, not the best location”
The hotel is really nice, looks good and seemd clean. Our room (super delux) has a balcony and was of good size. The AC worked well, but was very loud. Hot water in the shower most of the time. Bedsheets looked old and dirty, but I think they had been washed. Very nice decorations. The rooftop terrace was great. Good wiew and wonderful food. The location is not great. Qiet because it is in a Residential erea, but 20min tuktuk ride to the pink city and 10min tuktuk to the trainstation. We did not find any restaurants in the erea.

Hotel was Okay but their driver is a scammer”
We stayed at Hotel Moon light Palace for 4 nights. The room was average but nothing was around it. We ate at the restaurant and were sick the next day (only place we ate the day before). We booked the hotel driver to take us on a tour which you should avoid. He took us to the monkey temple and suggested a kid guide that only took us half way and said there is nothing more. So we missed the main temple. He also took us around the other sights then to "the best blanket factory". We knew better but he seemed like a nice guy and we trusted him so we bought a blanket for 3 times the going rate. We had a feeling we were scammed so we asked him to stop downtown and the other blanket shops. He made up every excuse not to stop but we insisted and yes the same blankets were on sale for a third of the price. Do your research before going on a tour here. Oh India is so love/hate. Tuy-Tuk warning! Check the Tuk Tuk and driver out before you get in. If he appears intoxicated or his tuk tuk is in bad shape with dents and is not clean GET AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE! My wife and I learned the hard way and were in a bad accident from a driver who tried to scam us first with the price, then just started to give us an out of the way tour Once we realized he was high/drunk it was too late. You do not want to go to a hospital in India! Lesson learned: Older clean, clear eyed drivers with the nice shinny tuk tuks that they care about. If you look you'll see the differences.

Nice hotel/hostel but far from everything ”
The dormitory is located on the lower floor so it never gets sunlight, also the bathroom is a bit smelly. But there's an other one on 2nd floor. Good wifi and laundry service (bit expensive) and rooftop restaurant (mid range prices). The only annoying drawback is it's quite far from everything: closest is railway station (20min walking). Anyway, The staff is very friendly and provide everything you need

Decent stay but don't eat the food”
Not a bad hotel with clean reasonably priced rooms. Close to the train station but not much else. We stayed a night here and ate at the restaurant in the hotel which made us sick. The food wasn't bad tasting but the chicken was not right. Not a bad place to stay but don't eat the food.

Great helping staff ”
Great owner , great staff, great food/ inside restaurant, great rooms. Excellent service, pickup from airport/ railway station...good on sight seeing cab. Excellent on laundry service, in room (freshly cooked) food services. Still can improve on cleanliness, WiFi connection. Thanks to helping staff!!! Suggested: using online cab reservations like Rodotrip site for travel to other cities e.g. Agra, Delhi etc.
