5 reasons to stay 1. Service Superb, mature and confident. They really have polished this to perfection, the in house doctor readily came to inspect my daughter at 7.30 AM when we had a little accident. All the staffs were nice, polite and seems eager to do their best. Foreign languages friendly 2. Location In the heart of Jakarta - near two big shopping centers Senayan City n Plaza Senayan,, Sports complex (which often housed national n international games, fairs, and concert) 3. Spacious beautiful room (Read the cons too) 4. Grandeur It evoke grandeur and luxury 5. Restaurants Choices of sumptuous restaurant Cons 1. Maybe one - the room is slightly aging - - it is definitely still a beautiful and graceful room with meticulous maintenance but closer inspection will show a little wear and tear. So I guess - you will have to decide whether you want to choose a newly refurbished hotel at comparably high price to Mulia’s more refined and established luxury.

Old hotel but well maintained”

Mulia is an old hotel but do not doubt it! It was still one of the greatest hotel in jakarta. Old but very well maintained. You will definetly not feeling like staying at the old hotel. Everything seems like perfect. I was booked for one night for new year and the minus one is that i have to qeuee for like an hour to check in because the hotel was full house! Its crazy.. but well the breakfast eventhough its full too but still the taste of the food still taste good. Good job mulia!

Best Moment with Family”

We spend 2 nights at Mulia Hotel. A lovely weekend getaway for the whole family, big rooms, big beds (1 King Size and 2 Big Twin Beds connecting). Very lovely swimming pool, nice breakfast, helpful staffs and most of all.. they do the covid protocols in high but nice works. For a business hotel, they mostly welcome for family too

A master piece of the capital”

This hotel is as old as any other hotel in Jakarta but every time you come and visit this place it feels like a new hotel. A constant renovation and new design give this hotel the youth. Service at this hotel exceeds my expectation. Best place to stay in Jakarta

Not really a 5 star hotel”

1. Welcoming Moment No smile at all, just “doing the duty” as a check-in PIC. It’s my first time staying in Mulia Jakarta but since the very first moment stepping into the hotel, i do think they are not that friendly (no warm greetings as we expected from a 5 star hotel 2. Noisy I can easily listen to chit chat and laughing voice from the next room. In the midnight, some youngsters were being noisy at the coridor, the next morning, some people passed by the coridor again and whatever they were talking about, we can listen clearly. Is the wall too thin? 3. Amenities packaging I do think a hotel as high level as mulia should renew the packaging of amenities since many lower star hotels have changed their packaging and look more luxurious 4. Check out Whenever I check out from a 5 star hotel, the front desk will always ask about how the stay was. But not this time. She only asked : check out? Your room card please *checking computer*, ok thank you very much.

Great city hotel”

Spend two night in this great hotel. Super facilities, great restaurants and very very good staff. Friendly and professional. Amazing fitness center. Will definitely be back when return to Jakarta.

Stayed at the Mulia several times now and never disappointed. Definitely one of the best in town. Staff and facilities first class.

The stay was nice but some improvement can be made”

The best thing about the hotel is the spacious room and nice breakfast. But the bed jnsjde the room is too soft that may cause backache, no tea spoon inside the room, no iron While at the checkin checkout process，it’s really need alot improvement. The queue was ridiculous, they should find other way to have fast checkin. The checkout was also a long queue, why doesnt use the key dropping box instead? The hotel can open the credit card for deposit if they need to assure things are all good when the room is left. Like what those 5 stars hotels do in big cities

Bad experience this time ”

I’ve always stayed in this hotel. Such a hotel that I love so much in Jakarta. Had a bad experience with a staff of them by the name GALIH ( Duty Manager) who doesn’t know how to manage hospitality & PR. It’s really lost my interested to go back to this hotel. As an outstanding hotel, truly disappointed to be treated as such manner. Hope the hotel take serious action on the improvements of the hotel.

High quality breakfast, Huge pool with trees surrounding ”

Fresh & Healthy food- breakfast buffet at "The Cafe". Huge swimming pools, with trees surroundings, but it would be nicer if more trees planted.

I've stay with group of my family and very enjoying the hotel. The staff is super friendly, and the best service so far i had for 5 star's hotel. The room itself is very comfortable, and food is delicious! Would like to stay again someday!

Dated Old Hotel; Not worth the stay”

Better equivalent hotels are in the vicinity. Mulia has a reputation for its luxurious interiors....decades ago. Now, the staff has inflated egos and the hotel is smelly and old. I would rather stay at Fairmont down the road

This is the first time I spent a night here, and all of my experiences was great. The staff are great, I even get a teddy bear souvenir for my baby. The room clean and tidy, the food are good. Now it's become one of my favorite hotels to go.
