Good service at the right place”
I have a great time spending a three days visit to Yogyakarta, partly because the good stay at Mutiara Hotel. One of the main reason to stay there is because the prime location it has, at the heart of Malioboro, and close to the palace complex. This is not my first visit to Yogyakarta, but perhaps the most memorable one. It was a very comportable location to facilitate the shoping adrenaline at Pasar (Market) Beringharjo as well as enjoying night crowd with beautiful traditional street music (luckily the sound did not goes to the hotel room). It also only some step away to the famous "lesehan" food corner. My only subjective minor comment is related with the food choice during breakfast. Wish to have more traditional food to serve. Anyway, I get most of my breakfast at the street "angkringan" foord corner or "nasi pecel" at the gate of Beringharjo Market. It takes only less than Rp.10,000 of your pocket.

Friendly Staff”
the hotel is central to most attractions along malioboro road, yogyakarta. the rooms are in need of refurbishment, however are large and comfortable. the hotel has charm and friendly staff. the hotel has a nice outdoor setting around the pool area. you have all the shops and stalls for your gifts out the front door of the hotel. i would have no problems in reccommending this hotel to anyone, i would stay here again.

Great Hotel in Strategic Location”
our 2 nights stay was very interesting, malioboro street is the "happening" area throughout day and night. almost everything was within reach. foods are availabale from hotel coffee house to stalls, transportations means were aplenty - trishaw, horsecart and taxi. mutiara malioboro is the best hotel to enjoy jogjakarta.

A recommeded hotel for those willing to do business, shopping and sight-seeing in the old city of Yogyakarta. It was located perfectly in the hottest spot of the city, Malioboro street. The rooms looked classique with some antique souvenirs inside.

We stayed at Mutiara Hotel for business trip. Strong traditional atmosphere with modern touch. Nice and friendly staff always ready to help. Clean room dan clean bathroom. Perfectly placed in the heart of the city. Malioboro as a strong point for jogjakarta is a door step away. Perfect for business traveler like us who have little night off time. Maybe not suitable for family looking for quiet area, because the sound of the busy city traffic maybe cause a burden.

I was staying for a short time so needed to find the nearest hotel to Malioboro town so that I wont have to take any mode of transportation to get there and Hotel Mutiara is definitely a great choice and worth the money! Room is spacious. This is also my second time here in this hotel, back then was in 2010-ish :)

I have stayed 4 days in Hotel Mutiara Malioboro,the hotel is located strategically in the street of Malioboro.Easy accessible to any places that i want to go.Outside the hotel, i could found many mode of transportation to get around the area.Even ATM machine are just outside the hotel lobby if you required to withdraw cash.The staffs here are very helpful and freindly.My stayed here is very enjoyable as lot of shopping can be done 360 degree around the hotel.

Great Location”
If you would like to stay in Malioboro area, this hotel is perfect because it's in the middle of Malioboro street. It's also near a shopping mall which has fast-food chained restaurants (e.g., McDonald's, KFC, etc) and a food court. It takes about 15 minutes to go to the airport if there's no traffic problem. The room was spacious and clean. It's much better than I expected after I had read comments on this hotel on the net. The breakfast was just OK. Overall, I will definitely stay here again.

Good location for shopping”
Hotel Mutiara located at the centre of busy Malioboro Street in Yogyakarta, is famous for shopping and batik. The hotel is also very convenient to access to city, airport, and also the famous Hindu temple in Yogyakarta: Candi Prambanan. However, the hotel condition is not as good as expected. There is only 2 old lifts accessible to the hotel room and sometimes we need to wait for quite a while. Also, the hot water is not available in the morning.

Stylish hotel on Malioboro Street”
The hotel is located on Malioboro Street, a short walk to shopping and restaurants. The lobby is decorated with flowers, a piano, and chairs and sofas for sitting while waiting for transportation. The rooms are very nice with all the up-to-date amenities. The room rate with Agoda prices was similar to the rate of the other hotels I stayed in on my 3 week Asian trip.

Nice hotel in central position”
This was a clean well presented hotel but the room was a little small for 3 single beds. Had we got a double or queen bed we expected plus a single it would have been better. The toilet was a bit slow to flush at times. Our room overlooked the street which was interesting. Pool area was good. The included breakfast was sufficient for us. In the middle of Maliobora was a convenient position and appeared to be a safe area. A bit confusing when we discovered there are 2 Hotel Mutiara, ours was Mutiara Maliobora. One taxi went to the other one. I could recommend this hotel to others.

Good Value for Money”
Stayed at Mutiara Malioboro for 4 days during my May 2013. Initially, i thought that i am booking a 4 star hotel but suprise to see 3 stars certificate during check in. Well actually it was my mistake, mislooked during booking with Agoda. But to my pleasant suprise, even though it was an old hotel but room's cleanliness and hotel bed provided to us (superior room)was magnificent. Large room, with 42' LCD TV and comfortable bed. Location wise, it is situated in front of busy Maliororo Street where all activities and character of Jogja people can be seen. Central location and well good for its price.

Nice and quiet environment.”
Uneventful relaxed stay. We were comfortable in the room. there is only one thing that was confusing: there were two hotels next to each other Mutiara 1 and Mutiara 2 the reservation did not specify which. We had to go from one building to the other with our belongings to find our reservation.
