A good value in a great location. Close to tourism and easy access to trains and subway a short walk away. Can't complain about anything, only was that it was hot inside, couldn't turn on ac.

This is the second time I stayed in this Hotel and I enjoyed my stay both times. The staff on both occasions have been able to speak english and my check in and check out has been seamless, I had luggages delivered to and from here without issues. Though I suggest googling or using apple maps to locate where you want to go, unless you have a fluent english speaker in front of you. The hotel is at least 10-15 minutes walk from the nearest train station, take the number 24 exit on the kyoto subway line so that you don’t have to cross the street, exit at number 23 and you have to cross the street to get to the hotel side of the path (look west). You have to take the kyoto subway line from kyoto station to get to the hotel. If you want to stay at a hotel near kyoto station then I suggest you move on and search further on agoda. The area around the hotel is littered with convenience stores and restaurants and eating joints. The nearest stop is about a ~5-10 minute walk each way. There is a stop on both sides of the hotel when you step out. I travelled with a group of older travellers so my times reflect that. Nishiki market, and the shopping streets are approximately 20 minutes away towards the east from the hotel. I would definitely book here again as the service, cleanliness, and staff has been excellent.

Close to everything. Walking distance or short bus ride to Gion. 24h Supermarket is next door. If you are driving, book parking spot in well advance with the hotel staff. It's a life saver!

Hotel is clean and they allow children under 15 to live in the same room. You can combine the twin beds into one big mattress. it also makes the room a bit roomier while you do that. Walking to Daimaru / Nishikki market looks close on the map ( took me 20 minutes ) as there are many pedestrian lights that you have to stop ( perhaps 8 ) , bus stop is just 2 mins walk away 2/3 stops 250 yen ea.. But if there are 2 of you, might as well take a taxi, costing only 500 Yen.

We only stayed there one night, but the staff was very helpful and love the fact that they we can leave our luggage there after we check out and go back for them afterwards. The hotel was very clean and love they had a free wifi phone that you can use while there to check all the places and be connected. It was a bit far from the subway station walking with out luggage, but it was close to the attractions.

The hotel is centrally located to pretty everything; food, transportation, & entertainment. Parking is available for ¥1600/day. There is a grocery store next to the hotel; very convenient for every day necessities, including food. The staffs are very accommodating. They even held our language after we checked out to go sightseeing.
