Very good”
I was a bit disappointed with parking. I was told to park in a different lot and had to pay. The hotel did not validate parking. I then had to walk a few blocks with all the luggage and sleeping children. The staff were helpful in showing us where to go, but it was rather inconvenient.

Great hotel, nice location”
The hotel is only 5-8 minutes walk from Oita Station and easy to find. The room space was alright and the bed was comfortable. The hotel overall is clean and well maintained. Too bad we only stayed one night in Oita but it was a very enjoyable stay. We tried the Onsen nearby, it was excellent (ask the receptionist, it's called Sama Sama). And you should try Sushi restaurant around the corner: nice, cheap, fresh and yummy! And their cocktail is excellent!

Recommended, New interiors and designs but suprissingly have a better rate than other hotels nearby. Really close to Oita Station 10 minutes by walk or even using taxi won’t charge you a lot and also this hotel is located near Chuo dori that offers many restaurants. Lawson is nearby the hotel as well. Really recommend people who wants to stay or visit Oita and Beppu!

8 min walk from Oita station, surrounded with restaurants, bar, cafe. Plenty to choose from. 1 min to convenient store. Affordable!! The room facilities is just outstanding for japanese 3 star hotel. Hair dryer, mini fridge, hanger, foldable mirror, and superb view from 13 floor. Unique design and double curtains. I highly recommend this as traveler in Japan I’ve seen a lot of 3 star hotels and I can assure you that this is the best 3 star hotel I ever been

I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely choose this hotel again when I go to Oita next. The staff were really great and if you want to ask anything always willing to help. The rooms are really comfortable. Small but big enough to rest in and feel refreshed. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making this a pleasant stay.

Centrally located affordable hotel”
All aspects of our stay went well from the moment the GPS brought us direct to the hotel parkhouse until the moment we left. This is a standard modern city centre hotel and has no Onzen (baths) which we knew before booking. The neighbourhood of Oita has a high density of baths and spas and we visited one of them on the full day of our two night stay and had an excellent experience.

Hotel is very new. The room is modern and clean. The bed is super comfy. The staff is very friendly and the facility is great. Although the hotel is quite a walk from Oita station, we can walk through the arcade and there are many shops and restaurants along the way.

The room smelled like a giant ash tray but it was not the fault of the hotel as there were only smoking rooms left when I booked it. I knew what I was getting into so I can't complain about it. On the plus side, the hotel was in the city and food and convenience stores were conveniently located near the hotel. Hotel staff recommended a yummy yakiniku store across the road and it was yummy! Got a taste of rosu cut for the first time and it was simply heavenly. I would stay there again if I am in Oita but i'd definitely book early to avoid the same mistake.

It's not very close to Oita station but walkable. Not very convenience to walk if you carry big luggage because there is an intersection with only underground crosswalk between Oita station and the hotel. Hotel is very clean with modern style decoration. Staff speaks English very well and very helpful. The room is quite small but comfortable. Bath room has bathtub with out separate space for washing as normal Japanese bath room style. Very good water flow. Refrigerator is very small and kept inside a cupboard which kept heat (useless).

Basic needs for a great price, some English spoken”
The stay was very good. Basic room is very very very comfortable. But go for a bigger one if you require space. it is Japan after all and they do not have tatami rooms. Great location, in particular if you are by car and need to go north and south of Oita Prefecture. Roads are great.

Central Location”
Fino in Oita was much more modern than other Best Westerns we have stayed in worldwide. Very frosty greeting on arrival however. Thankfully we never saw the (European) guy who checked us in again, and the rest of the Japanese staff were courteous and efficient. Bit dark in the rooms and the lighting was a bid weird. Other than that a great budget priced hotel in the perfect location a very short walk from the JR station and airport bus connections.

It's pretty new hotel. My group appreciates the modernity of the hotel facilities. Although it is small, it's not cramped. It has everything you need if you are a business or transit travellers. We appreciate the buffet breakfast very much. Pretty sure will stay at the same hotel if we are to go to Oita.

From Oita station,walk about 10-15 mins to hotel(with no luggage) . Room condition is good and comfortable. Bathroom is not too small (as normal business hotel in Japan)

Perfect Location, Clean and Friendly”
I spent three nights at this hotel and found it friendly,clean and well run. The rooms are small but very functional and well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is not startling but reasonable and half-western biased. The only downside is that there is no dinner and lunch served in the restaurant but as the hotel is next to hundreds of restaurants outside there is little need for this. Over-all an excellent stay and a definite return should I need to go to Oita again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was very close to shopping, food, and Oita castle. We stayed here and spent a day in Beppu.
