Good halal friendly hotel”
A hotel which is Muslim friendly with good restaurant and big prayer room With Wudhu area. It’s location is walking distance to a halal ramen place and also shopping area . Highly recommend for Muslims visiting Hokkaido
Very dirty, heavily stained carpet with big gaps due to broken seams than ran in middle of room. ”
Terribly disappointed to be assigned that room as I booked a Deluxe Room. Could not even dare walk barefooted in that room. Staff was apologetic. Was told no other similar room available. Had to insist to change rooms as it was totally upsetting to spend a night in that room, much more 5 nights. They moved us to a bigger room with better carpet condition but it was only available for 4 nights. The wooden flooring by the bathroom door had water damage. Water leaked out from shower stall so had to use 2 bath mats and to minimize the whole bathroom getting wet. Water temp in the shower is inconsistent, can not be maintained/controlled. It suddenly turns cold once in awhile during shower. Shower head was dirty. The inside of the air pot to boil water in the room was stained and grimy. Moved to a Deluxe Room on the last night. Carpet looks newer and cleaner but discovered later that it was still unfit for walking barefoot on. Dusty floor behind the toilet door. Not Japanese Standard.
For Hotel in the City... it very surprising to have nice hot spring.
Breakfast options were good, there were 3 to choose from - Western, Japanese and Buffet. Room was spacious. Parking was chargeable at 1500 yen per night. High-floor rooms will give a nice new of the surroundings and nearby park. Public bath facilities were also good and clean.
Small and old carpet”
I stayed in the comfort double room that's very small with old and dirty carpet. I felt uncomfortable. However I found a triple room of my group is more comfortable with new carpet. The advantage point , hotel is close to subway and store.
The rooms are spacious and everything is very clean. The restaurant provides Muslim food and it is very convenient especially when we have gone for long winter walks and sightseeing. We did not need to look for food elsewhere.Staff at the checking in was very pleasant and polite. The hotel is about 8 minute drive frm Sapporo Terminal. The cab fare to the hotel frm the station is reasonable. Our stay has been a pleasant one.
Convenient, clean and room size is not small”
Location is convenient, only few minutes walk to subway. There are a lot restaurant nearby, just around 5-10 minutes walk. Room size is not bad, the room we stayed have two beds and one big sofa and there is still space for the luggage box.
Pleasant stay ”
The room was Ok and it is clean. Good breakfast choices - Western, Japanese or international buffet. However it can be crowded due to group traveler. Location is convenient - <5 min walk to Nakijima-koen and around 15 min walk to Susukino for food (lacking of restaurant around Hotel). There are Lawson and 7 Eleven around the hotel.
I have booked 3 room for my trip, and 1 of the room that I choose is family room and it should be bigger that can fit in 3 adults, and 2 children, but when I got my room key and I got a shocked that the room is extremely small and it is not what I am expected and see from the website. The hotel did provide 4 beds for us but it is like force to squeeze in type, and left the narrow walking path and I can't even lay my luggage and open it up. I am very upset with this and hence went to check with the reception and was told that it is the correct room that I booked. Guess what, I am paying SGD700 plus, and the other 2 rooms is paying about SGD400. With the extra 300 plus that I am paying, I am getting these type of room. Even the staff shock and agreed that it is small when I show them the picture. They then change and shift me to another room type which is much bigger and that is more towards the amount that I am paying for. The hotel is within walking distance to the subway station, and walking distance to the shopping district (about 10-15minutes walk) The hot spring is free for room guest and very nice ambience
Very close to subway”
This hotel with good onsen facilities is just 3 minutes away from subway. Their reception is very helpful and give us a good guide to take taxi to Sapporo Station and connect to the JR airport express as our flight is 9am in the morning. The public bath is spacious. However they only have indoor onsen. But their staffs are very friendly. The hotel also walking distance to Susukino and Shinei Ji
Good place to stay, Nice hot sping, but uncontrol air-conditioning system”
Very cheap price. Close to subway station. Very very good hot spring, large, clean (only indoor hotspring) Air-conditioning system is uncontrollable. I have been there in May. The weather is around 16-20 degree celcius. The air-conditioning system of the hotel in that time is "heater" and the window cannot open. The only way is to turn off the air-con in the room. By the way, the weather is still too hot for me for sleeping.
Just a good hotel, does not have an excellent stuff to mention , but cant pin point anything bad. Just an average business hotel, about 5 minutes walk to subway near a park , but far away from business or commercial center
feels like home”
a very walking distance to the nearest subway station, but buses stop across the street; guest should ask the reception what bus # goes to and back from the kyoto station. room comes with washing machine. individual aircon per room. clean amenities.
27sq.m. which is very spacious when compared to other hotels in Sapporo. The down side is that they don't have onsen at the hotel and not too close to the 狸小路. about 15mins walk. The room has a bigger washroom with bathtub and bathing area. Guests can use it as a private onsen in their room. bathing salt and extra towel provided.
Excellent location, just a minute walk from the local rail transit, very close to downtown yet stay away from the hustle bustle. The facilities, the service and the food are good. certainly stay agai”
Excellent location, just a minute walk from the local rail transit, very close to downtown yet stay away from the hustle bustle. The facilities, the service and the food are good. certainly stay again with hotel mystays premier for my next sapporo visit.
Formerly known as Art Hotel”
Plus points - Easy to find. Just 2 mins walk from Nakajima Koen subway station (hotel entrance from carpark) Nearby Nakajima Koen garden worth a stroll. Hotel has a nice onsen bath. Breakfast spread is reasonably good. Negative points - Nothing much to sightsee around the area except for the garden. Hotel does not have a free shuttle. Odori station is 1 subway stop away but it cost 200 yen per ride, and to go to Sapporo station will cost another 200 yen. Better to stay around Sapporo station to save cost.
A comfortable stay at Art hotel”
I love the space of the room, it is much bigger than other hotel and the design is really nice, I feel so comfortable and like home. A sweet design of the room also provide the air purifier, it is so nice to have it as the room is a bit stuffy.
Very resaonable hotl”
Very good location- it is very close in the airport bus station. And famous station. Restaurant and store. Good breakfast-we can choice jananesess style and wester buffet. And then two style are very delicious. Fabulous spring pool- You can relax in spring pool that is very good condition.
Nice trip in Sapporo”
I have been there on 30th November 2015. At that time it was snowing. After we walked all day long and be back to the hotel for "Onsen" then we felt very relax and warmth welcome. I did love outdoor onsen.
Value for money! I love it!”
I enjoyed staying in Art Hotels Sapporo! It's near to subway and, within 20 steps, there is a 7-11, making life easier, especially at night for supper & snacks! The staff are friendly and approachable! The room is just nice to fit 3 of us! Even though our room has a bathroom, we could hardly use it, because we went to onsen everyday! Ha! It's really value for money! If I were there, I m sure I would stay in Art Hotels Sapporo again!!
