Hotel is relatively near to the station although it may be a little hard to walk across if you have a pram or heavy luggages. Room itself was great—on the smaller side but we managed to make it work for both of us. Room was clean, and laundromat was super helpful. Highly recommended.

We first stayed at MyStays at Sapporo Station. The quality service from this chain is quite consistent. Very good ambience at Rivage. The eateries were closed for a private function on 15/12/22, so we did not manage to try their dinner.

Our flights were canceled due to volcanic activity in Manila, they were really considerate enough to cancel and refund our overnight stay and keep the room for us for the rest of the reservation. No questions asked although I was specific enough to send through the airline notifications so we can advise them that our flights were cancelled. I am so happy how considerate they were, very satisfied with their accommodations although room space is small compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in Tokyo, overall I am still grateful how they understood our situation re our reservation. Excellent customer service at its finest!

Our room is not that spacious for the price. That is not how we expected it. Had to squeeze in with our 3 lugagges. But location is near in station. Bonus is they have more personal care amenities to choose from.

The room was very clean and well appointed and a nice size. The hotel itself is a little far from shin osaka, I prefer something less than 5 minutes from the station but it was about an 8 minute walk. Breakfast was good. There are also laundry and free ice machine on the second floor.

Stayed here because of taking the bullet train to Hiroshima next morning. Good value, and plenty of food at the Osaka station which is a short 8 mins walk.

Room is great for solo traveler or business trip. Too small for 2pax. Hotel abit run down, but still ok with that price range. Can’t complain. Staffs not always greeting you whenever pass by counter, unlike other Japanese hotel. Overall still ok, but don’t expect much.

Worst hotel ever”
Please see the other 1 point review, they are telling the true, this is the worst hotel ever in Japan. Not clean is an understatement for this hotel, bad service, and small even for Japan standard, if you are taller than 170, don’t think about it, you will get hurt. And you won’t be able to get some sleep because of the voice of other guest taking the shower, or other guest walking by your room, it is not the problem of terrible sound proof, it is the problem of no sound proof at all! And if you are travelling with your partner, I am afraid you won’t have the mood for anything else. Me as an example, booked 5 nights and only be able to cancel the last two nights, still, go for the other hotel immediately after staying 1 night. Don’t get fool by the picture, it is a very old, dirty, stinted hotel, and don’t buy the bull shit of the reply. I checked all the low point review, they said it will be improved, but guess what, no! There are no improvements at all!

Like most Japanese Hotel rooms, everything is very compact but fit for purpose! The location is excellent, only a 5-10 minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station. It did take a GPS search on our phones initially to find it but its more because of the surroundings of the station that is confusing (car parks, highways, under bridge tunnels etc.) but once you locate it, its easy to get to. There are 2 convenience stores on the way to the hotel and the station itself is packed with restaurants and shops as it is a major station. It is also a Shinkansen Station and only a stop away from Osaka Station itself. There is also a high speed train that runs through Shin-Osaka station to Kansai Airport which is very convenient and also included in your JR pass! The hotel facilities are new and clean, their breakfast is catered by an adjoining restaurant where there is a very good buffet selection of both western and asian cuisine. The room is compact but sufficient, the bathroom is on the small side, water pressure is good and provided amenities are of good quality. One thing I was a little disappointed with was that for people who had early travel plans, there is no alternative breakfast option, you simply miss the breakfast you paid for because the restaurant is not open when you leave in the morning.

dear travellers to japan, i stayed in chisun shin osaka few nights and i would say/ everything was perfect from check-in to check-out..reception staff was very helpfull and lovely(they would do anything to help) room was clean and fully equiped, tv, free internet...etc, when it comes to breakfast...if you are a japanese food lover you'll be a happy person to start your day with such delicious food and a big choice. also very important is the location as it is just 5 min walk to shin osaka station (it took me exactely 45 min from my room to kyoto:)by shinkansen). i would highly recommand this hotel for anyone going to osaka(also the prices are very resonable). big thanks to all staff especialy reception that made my trip to japan perfect...

First of all the location was great. It was less than 10 minutes walk from the Shin-osaka train station. There are several convenience stores along the way where you can get simple meals. There are several restaurants around the hotel with about 3 just across the street from the hotel. If you like, you can walk to the train station where there are plenty of places to eat. The room however is very small. I stayed in the Standard Single. There is no closet and no mini fridge. You can't keep your drinks cold. The room was however, very clean and tidy. No foul smell whatsoever, even in the smoking room. Checking in and out was a breeze. It took about 5 minutes each time. Did not try the breakfast though it looked appetizing. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The staffs were friendly too. Will stay again at this hotel if I come back to Osaka.

Great location, next to the JR Shin-Osaka station”
kinda of tricky to find, took me an hour cause i took the wrong turn. exit from no. 6 of the subway station. go up the stairs face the road and turn to your right. you cannot miss it, you can see the green sign board of the hotel, it's about a minute walk from the station. i took a left turn and had to grab a cab to the place. room was clean and did not smell. the reception can speak some english which was very helpful. for the price i paid it was very worth it.if i'm returning to osaka again, would definately stay there again as my base to travel around that area as jr shin-osaka is the main transfer to other train providers. internet station is at the lobby if you do not have laptop.

unexpensive hotel with very convenien location”
I have reserved this hotel long in advance, when I planned my busines trip to Osaka, which was scheduled on Friday, and in order to spend next Saturday and Sunday for the sightseeing in Kyoto. For these purposes I wanted to find some unexpensive hotel near Shin-Osaka station so that on Saturday morning one could easily move to Kyoto. "Chisun Hotel Shin Osaka" perfectly suits for these purposes: with early reservation, the cost for the double room was less than yen, and on Saturday before 10am we already enjoyed Kyoto. The only disadvantage was that the room was really small, but since we staid only one night, it was OK.
