Ueno mystays was a really nice place. It was hard to find at first since it's not on the main highway but it was easy to remember after. The place was nice and typical of a japanese hotel and it was clean and the amenities were great! the staff was nice and speak good english. we were able to checkin earlier which was great. The hotel was also near the ueno station about 5 to 10 minute walk. We will surely be back here!

It look like hotel with homestay but it's very comfortable and good service although we have to do everything by ourselves. They have Thai officer who can communicate with Thai quest as well. Good location. I would like to come back again when I will go to Japan next time.

We arrived at the place for a night stay. The place is accesible to train stations, also to the Ueno Park, Tokyo Museums. We had a Taste of the Japanese minimalist lifestyle.... Definitely, i recommend this place👍

Near Inaricho train station. Same line going to Ginza, Shibuya and Asakusa. Complete amenities! Free coffee, tea, comb, shower cap, cotton buds, razor, scrub cloth, toothbrush, facial moisturizer, oil cleanser. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of walking. Kitchenette was nice as it included mugs, glasses, water kettle, induction stove. Staff was the only point for improvement. Check-in is at 3pm. We arrived at 7am and waited for a bit before being accommodated by the staff. It seems he was irritated that we arrived early.

Their instant tea tastes very good. Room has a microwave, mini fridge, a dish washing basin, a square box under bed and some shelves so we have many places to put our clothes and stuff on. In other hotels in this price range, sometimes there is only one table. The bathtub was not cleaned well so my rating for cleanliness is 3/5. Thanks for keeping our luggage after we checked out.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Close to a subway station and my sister’s house. The staff were also nice and accomodating. One thing we didn’t like is that our room is close to the smoking area. We can smell the smoke of cigarettes inside our room.

Given the chance to have a vacation again to Japan, I will never have a 2nd thought to book on this hotel again. At first, I was a little disappointed. We walked nearly 1.5km from Ueno station to this hotel. I was thinking, its not that near to the station as the other review. The next day I found out it is indeed near a station. That's Inaricho station! Just a 5 mins walk. Should have known it the first day! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Just bear in mind that front desk is only available 8am - 10pm.

Travelling with Kids ”
The hotel is very accessible to Inaricho Station, just a 5 min walk. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around the area. It also near to Asakusa and Nakamise Street, I recommend everyone to visit those tourist spot at night. Toiletries are also available but they don't have staff to clean/make up your room. You need to exchange your used towel downstairs. They also have vendo machine at laundry room. I hope they will be honest enough to include on the booking site that the standard room will not fit 2 adults and 2 kids.

Convenient for transportation”
The area is very convenient as it is near Inaricho station. Also, the area of the hotel is very peaceful you can roam even late at night. My only problem was the room they gave to us was not that totally cleaned even before our stay. Overall, it is very accessible and budget friendly.

Superb location”
Only about 3mins walk away from Inaricho station, which is just one stop away from the bustling Ueno station, where the train runs directly to the airport. We walked in both directions; to the left to Asakusa and to the right to Ueno. Very safe street. Room very small though that's expected of Tokyo. Will stay here again.

Location is fairly close to Ueno, and Keisei-Ueno (to the airport), very close to Inaricho. Clean, nice toilet/bidet, good aircon/heater, microwave, kettle. Staff were very polite, looked after luggage before check-in and after check-out. Took my luggage to my room for me.
