Walking distance to Dotonbori, train station, and Ichiba Kuromon market. The mall nearby has bus service to airport, though I didn't manage to utilise it. Staff speak good English. Floors are wooden which helps during winter, plus room is super spacious with mini dining table, and separate rooms for toilet and bathroom.

Pros: the room was very big and spacious; was so nice after being cooped up in very small rooms at other hotels. The washroom was also bigger than other hotels. The bed itself was very comfortable. Within walking distance to dotombori which made the night life alot easier. Cons: location is a bit far from the train stations (approximately 10 minute walk)

Not too far from Dotombori shopping street. Staff very nice. Triple Room have more space for open 3 big baggage and so clean. We can deposit luggage before check in time and after check out time with security.

Kind of like a motel”
The room is quite large according to Japan standard; however, the decoration and the not-decent cleanness reminds me the cheap motels I stayed at years ago. If you want to stay in a relatively cheap place near the 道顿掘area, and can tolerate the motel feeling, then this is not a bad choice.

The Hotel seems old, but the location is great. We can walk to the famous Glico sign and a little further south to the Shinsekai area.

Location is very convenient. Walking distance to Doton Plaza, Dotonburi, Nipponbashi Station, Den Den Town, Don Qui., Kuromon Market. Easy to find. Kinda Old Hotel, but facilities are maintained well. Polite staffs. A fellow Filipino assisted on our check-in. Overall, a great 3 star and a pleasant Hotel.

One of the best place to stay in Osaka”
We were a group of 20 and we were all accommodated well. All their receptionists were hospitable and entertained all our queries. We enjoyed shopping around Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi as we had no worries about carrying around too much. We were able to bring back our shopping items easily to the hotel. There was also a convenience store nearby and a lot of restaurants are within walking distance. Travelling from Kansai Airport was also easy as Hotel Naniwa is located 3 minutes away from Doton Plaza where the YouTour Bus stops. Nippombashi Station is also 500 meters away only. Overall, our first trip to Osaka was satisfying and remarkable. Thanks to Hotel Naniwa!

We took the Triple Room category. My husband and I were traveling with our son. PLUS POINTS RE: Hotel Naniwa 1. Luigi , the front desk officer and who happened to be a fellow Filipino, provided us a very warm-hearted hospitality. He had a very pleasing personality and was also well-versed with the local and many foreign languages. 2. The hotel location was easily accessible from KIX airport using a bus to Doton Plaza. From there, we walked 3-5 minutes to the hotel. 3. The hotel was also near the following: Dotonbori, Ebisu-bashi and Shinsaibashi streets. 4. It’s very near Nippombashi subway station. 5. We appreciated the layout of the room. The bathroom was separate from the toilet and the lavatory; hence, lessening the waiting time of each member in the room. Each of us could our own thing simultaneously. 6. There was daily replenishment of towels and toiletries. 3 bottles of distilled water would be provided if we would allow makeup of our room. CONS: None

the hotel was situated about 10-15 mins away from the nearest subway. there were nearby restaurants and also dotonburi. shinsaibashi was also surprisingly convenient as it was a straight route down from dontonburi. within walking distance of about 20 mins which was ok for me. i enjoyed my hotel stay as it was fuss free and the hotel staff were also friendly and willing to help. wifi was also available in the rooms. i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to visit osaka.

Value location near Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi”
Hotel Naniwa was one of the last affordable hotels with rooms still available for a Friday night when I was booking two weeks in advance (everything else still available was mostly double this hotel's price). The hotel itself is an older building, but the bathrooms seemed like they were newly renovated or very well-maintained. The internet worked well, and there was parking directly next to the hotel, if you have a car. The bathroom was missing a lightbulb, and the light switches were in strange places (outside rooms, etc.), but these were not big problems. The beds, however, were extremely hard as the mattresses seemed to be very stiff, making for a rough night's sleep.

The stay was extremely present. More importantly, the price was very decent for the location. Its just a 2-5mins walk away from the main food street, dottonburi and the shinsaibashi area where all the shopping can be done. The hotel staffs can speak English and Korean very well. I would definitely return to this hotel if I would be visiting Osaka again.

Brilliant hotel! Close to everything, easy to find”
Hotel naniwa was EXCELLENT, it cost me, my girlfriend and 2 friends about 1320¥ each from Kansas to nippombashi (closest subway) then it's a 5 minute walk from nippombashi, and is located close to everything! Den den town, doutonbouri, everything! The rooms weren't too shabby, stayed in rooms 505/506 on the 5th floor , the double bed was enough for me and my girlfriend to both comfortably sleep on, and the air con was a saviour because of the unbelievably humid air. Recommend the hotel highly. Had a wonderful time.

this was a good hotel for my tour. the staff can speak english and provide good service. the room was quite large and comfortable. the best thing was wifi. high speed wifi was in the hotel rooms. this hotel is near the shopping mall and restaurant. it only takes 5 minutes from station to the hotel. it is very convenient. if i go to osaka again, i will choose this hotel again.

A hotel with great location”
i stayed 3 nights at naniwa, my first impression about the room when the first time i stepped in was fantastic. i was given a japanese styled room which gave me the chance to feel how it was living like a japanese. they are not match to ryokan though, but i found it to be more fascinating. location was awesome, just a stone throw away to shinsaibashi, one of the shopping belt in osaka

Good position and reasonable price”
I booked the room on-line with a discount of 20% off(~HK$ , before tax). With such a cheap price, I can live in a spacious room and the hotel is really well located, just 5 mins walk to nippombashi train station, u can even walk 15 minutes to Nankai electric railway station at Namba where is the terminal of the airport railway. For shopping, it is also convenient to just walk to Namba and Shinsaibashi. In the toilet, they provide very simple personal care/hygiene product, just teeth brush , toothpaste and razor,but not comb nor mouth rinsing glass, u have to prepare them by yourself. There are so many Korean pop-star souvenirs to be sold at the reception area, i bet if the hotel is run by Korean, for Korean travellers, it might be a good news to them.
