Older classic mountain gem”
The Nevada Hotel is an 85 year old hotel/casino in the center of Ely. It’s the best of both worlds. Clean, spotless rooms, with some remodeled into beautiful modern rooms, while others have kept the famous western look while still clean. Those are mostly much larger. Also are decorated with memorabilia from a certain entertainment icon of the past who stayed there. A couple months ago I stayed in the larger Wayne Newton room, which is full of old records , articles, pictures, and information on him. It is fascinating to learn about. This time was a tiny room that I loved. Breakfast including coffee at the Denny’s downstairs off the casino is included as is a free drink from the casino bar. All for less than any of the chain hotels in town. Only complaint is the casino is extremely smoky. Masks are worn, but not while smoking/drinking. Which some locals do constantly! I won enough on video poker to pay for my stay so I can’t complain much! I’ve stayed there maybe 8 times over the years...and this was the best.

Fun Place to Stay”
Great value stay in Ely. The room was comfortable and the hotel was fun. We enjoyed the bar and other amenities. Also Denny's staff in the hotel have to be some of the most honest people ever. There was a mix up with buying a voucher and they actually posted the money to us in New Zealand. We would absolutely go back!

Local Charm”
The rooms have been nicely renovated in this historic hotel. Much more fun to stay here than at a chain hotel. Breakfast was a coupon for Denny’s, eggs cooked to order, which is much better than many hotel breakfasts. The hotel is in the middle of the Ely city center.

Nice hotel”
I love the hotel, good location. It is beyond my expectation with that kind of money. Free breakfast is provided in Denny restaurant which is located in ground floor. The hotel also have laundry facility, and drying is free.

Friendly people, very clean property”
This is a wonderful historic hotel. We stayed for 2 days in the Wayne Newton Suite and were very comfortable. The hotel insisted on face coverings for COVID 19 witch was excellent! We felt very safe there.

Fun and comfortable ”
Very strong cigarette smell from the casino floor. But as a smoker I didn’t mind. The rooms are none smoking and you can’t smell anything once u get to your room. Very comfortable and well cleaned room.

Hotel with character!”
Specifically chose to stay at Hotel Nevada when doing the Loneliest Highway stretch (U.S. Hwy 50) east to west. King room accommodations were modern and fresh, enjoyed the nostalgic decor and staff flexibility. Was not too busy, mainly locals, yet had that 1929 charm you only get with older hotel. Ample parking behind hotel. Free breakfast was a welcome perk, too! Definitely recommend staying here if looking for a hotel with character and some nostalgia.

Cute vintage hotel”
This place was fun. The building is older and it definitely shows it’s age, but it’s clean and comfortable. Staff was all very nice. The lobby is great with lots of memorabilia and Wild West stuff, including a bunch of taxidermied animals. My kids thought it was pretty cool, all in all.

Less than I expected. Skip this hotel.”
Most rooms have no refridge or microwave. All rooms have the smallest bathrooms and showers I have ever seen in a hotel. They are so small that you can't even rinse the soap of your body. Some front desk clerks are too lazy to provide the breakfast voucher you already paid for. The clerks claim that breakfast is "complimentary" and they can choose which hotel guests will and won't get it. Incredibly bad service. Avoid this hotel so they won't ruin your vacation.

Historisch hotel ”
Echt een historisch hotel, onwijs vriendelijk personeel. Casino bestaat alleen uit kasten. Kamer was klein maar fijn en schoon. Helaas word in het casino gewoon gerookt. Verder Top! Ontbijten kun je bij de dennys die er in gevestigd zit.
