Kyoto station is only opposite, we can take bus, subway, train easily. english speaking staff is very good in informing us the sightseeing place in kyoto, especially about sakura information in which place is still fullbloom or past peak, we can see from the information board the the check in counter
Excellent location, next to Kyoto station and a convenient store. Plenty of restaurants and cafe nearby. Friendly staff. We were happy with our triple beds room. There was sufficient space to walk around the room. The only disappointing thing is there were no teaspoons and sugars for our morning coffees. Other than this, we would recommend this hotel. This was our second time staying at the hotel while in Kyoto.
Great family stay in kyoto”
Loved this hotel. Location right in front of bus and kyoto station. Staff and service was amazing here. Our hotel room was not ready at 3pm for check in but the manager came out, apologised and even gifted us 6 boxes of japanese biscuits. We had a twin room for 2A2C, spacious and clean. Loved our stay here. Hotel was only lacking self laundry service. Everything else was great.
Very giod location, just in front of the Kyoto station which we can take train / subway / bus / taxi. Close to every tourist place. Good place for food and shopping. Not manything to be expected in the hotel. Small room, cleaness is so so, not new, price ok.
Excellent location directly across the Kyoto Station. Breakfast was so-so. Same breakfast spread for the 2 days I had it. Not enough hot food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Airport bus just outside the hotel.
Great location! In front of Kyoto station and right at stairs to underground shopping mall”
Probably the best value for price and location. A little understaffed when I arrived, but staff were polite and efficient. The room is comfortable. The only problem was on the second day air-con seemed not working, so it's quite hot and difficult to breathe until I opened the window slightly. But everything else is great, perfect to be a starting point for exploring Kyoto in all directions.
Great location and spacious room”
We had stayed this hotel for 3 nights with 2 kids, the room is spacious and no issue in putting luggage. The hotel is very near to Kyoto station, the entrance of underpass just in front of the hotel, many shops and restaurant around. The staffs were very friendly and patient when we checked for the route and information.
We only stayed here 1 night so it is perfect for us with the location being just in front of Kyoto station so we can travel around town easily without spending time walking too much to stations. The room is nice and clean, hotel is big as well. If i ever come to Kyoto again I would def book this hotel again.
Good hotel fantastic location ”
Our group of five - 3 adults and 2 kids - recently stayed here and can’t say enough about the location. Just outside the main Kyoto station very convenient. Being vegetarians we found food a challenge in japan but this hotel breakfast had several great local options in additional to continental (bread and cereal) spread. Comfortable room and amenities.
Great location , quality hotel with all you need amenities ”
Pros Location , service Cons We were pure vegetarian (Indian)so breakfast menu was very limited, we asked for prepare something to restaurant staff but they could not understand and just show us the veg option available which was also not veg and contains stuff with alcohol. I don’t blame it for them but it’s kind of restaurant should proactively address as we were staying for 3 nights.
Room is nice and tidy. Staffs are helpful
Excellent location! And rooms are neat and tidy.
It was the second time we were there. Great location, big room, nice price, what more could you ask?
Good location ”
Location just across Kyoto Station and bus terminal great direct access to major attractions.
Just opposite the JR station”
A lot of shops around. Very convenient to travel to anywhere. Space are good for three, just need to adjust the placement of luggages. We had the choice to choose either international or Japanese breakfast each day. If you woke up late and missed it, you could still join in for the brunch which ends at 2.30pm. As it is winter, room turned cold easily when the window is opened. Heater works well and water pressure is good.
Great location next to Kyoto Station”
I chose it mainly due to its location next to Kyoto Station. Although we had booked the room for 3 adults and child, breakfast vouchers were given for adults only. We had to pay additional for child breakfast. Room was small which is typical of all Japanese hotels. Otherwise this hotel is a good place to rest after a busy day of exploring.
Great location right in front of Kyoto Train Station”
Great location, clean room with basic amenities. Considering is Japan so generally room size are small. Check in were smooth but this particular check in staff wasn't very smiling and rush through all the details so quickly i had to ask him twice what did he want me to fill up. Otherwise it is perfect. Concierge service very helpful to us.
Convenient location near the JR and bus stations ”
Location was good for taking bus or train and shopping at the underground porta or cube as well as nearby Isetan and Bic Camera. A post office is close by too. The connecting room configuration is good for families and generally clean. There were stains under the sinks and here and there in the bathroom. Guessing it’s an age issue not a cleanliness one but didn’t try to find out. Room was slightly musty with a hint of mould. Check in was the longest process I’ve had in any hotel so far in Japan. Was served by the same lady at the front desk who could speak mandarin and English - she’s cordial but not friendly with no smiles. On the first day she said we would have to give our key in for duvet cleaning, for which we asked for clarity for quite a while. On the day itself another lady thought we were checking out and eventually after they discussed amongst themselves we didn’t need to. Wasted a bit of time cos of their confusion and conflicting instructions.
Very convenient location”
Located just directly across from the Kyoto Station (5mins walk) which was a huge plus sign as we could commute to all destinations with convenience. Rooms were a little small but I reckon considered acceptable in Japanese standards. There's a café called Veloce selling Delifrance style breakfast, which was very good. We ate there almost everyday (we didn't book a room with breakfast as there's lots of food in Kyoto Station to choose from). The hotel has a ramp for ease of use for luggage, strollers and wheelchairs. Will stay here again if we visit!
It’s just opposite JR Kyoto station (with Isetan in the same building) and within walking distance to subway.. behind the hotel is Yodabashi mall which has great shopping. Room is of ok size. Overall it has been a pleasant stay.
