The place is nice but the town is DEAD”
Shiobara seems to be a painful victim of covid 19 regulations. The entire town was essentially shut down. Literally no restaurants open, and not even a combini outside of the area near the station. I along with most of the other guests were all confused about the state of the town. The onsen was nice, however the facilities are old. They had bentos available to heat up since there were no places to eat. They tried their best, however I really cannot recommend visiting since the town is truly nearly entirely deserted.

Great bathhouse and room”
Japanese styled room with tatami but western bed Room was very spacious and had dining table fitted in. The bathhouse was clean and outdoor hot spring was the best experience in the winter. The breakfast and dinner were frozen bento from 5 kinds to choose from. Just heat it up and eat. Disappointed a little but the spacious room and cleaniness made it up

Nice place for a nice price ”
Nice big Onsen which was really quite hot and a decently sized outdoor one as well. Rooms are clean and large and easy access to parking at the back from 2f. Only downside may be noise from neighbouring rooms as wall and floors seem quite thin and also highway across the road. However it wasn’t much of an issue for me as the levels seem to go down later into the night.

このシステム非常に良い”
確かに食事や設備などの観点から言えば一般的なホテルよりも劣って見えるかもしれない。ただ、自分としてはホテルの外に面白さを見出すため、ホテルが充実しすぎているとそちらに気を取られてしまい、旅としての満足度が下がる。かと言ってネットカフェは疲れが取れずそれはそれで旅の満足度が下がる。それを踏まえるとこのホテルは自分に取って最適なシステムだった。

温泉はよかった”
温泉は内湯、露天一つずつでシンプルでしたがいいお湯でした。 お部屋も広々使えて申し分ないです。 ただ、（ちゃんと確認してなかったのがいけないんですが、）ご飯が朝晩両方ともお弁当でした。良心的なお値段なのは助かりますが、ご飯だけは風情が感じられず、勝手ながら少し残念な気持ちになってしまいました。

一泊2食付きプランなのに格安。 食事を楽しみにしていましたが、2食とも冷凍弁当でした。館内の電子レンジでチンしていただきました。 期待とは違いましたが、なぜか納得しました。これからはこういう集客方法になるのかもしれませんね。

仕事の前泊で利用した。 コロナ絡みの全国旅行支援で割引きになっていたので、割安で泊まれた。 押し入れから枕を出したら、枕カバーに髪の毛が付いていたのがガッカリポイント。 晩ごはんと朝ごはんがセットになっていたのが、なんか得した気分｡しかも「冷凍のお弁当」というのが面白い。 自分で電子レンジで温めるなんて、まるでビジネスホテルの感覚｡ キライじゃない。 温泉は広くて掛け流しで素晴らしい。 古い建物をリニューアルしていて、とにかく全てが、必要最低限の感じ｡
