This was one of the best stays I have had in Italy and I will most definitely be back.”

The breakfast was wonderful. The meals were all wonderful. The staff was beyond exceptional: professional, friendly, kind, at times funny, well trained, gentle, the best I have ever experienced in all of Italy.
The only thing I can suggest is to please clean the chairs in the dining room. A few were very dirty with hair and food on them.

Lovely place and the big thermal pool is wonderful! If you don't speak Italian a little difficult to get full information, but just keep trying, Most of the staff were lovely.
Was a little surprised to be charged €10 a day to use the pool – they said that booking.com bookings get charged but if you book directly through their site you don't get charged for using the pool.

The staff were very friendly, really professional. It had a very relaxed vibe. The room was spotless, the air con worked perfectly. My husband really enjoyed the breakfast. The thermal baths were very enjoyable. We were provided with towels, crocs and robes for the spa. We ate in Viterbo city centre which was a 5 mins drive away.
We enjoyed our stay. It was difficult to find fault with this stay.

Nice Continental/Italian offer for breakfast. Spacious rooms. Quiet room and hotel, we have been offered an early check-in (Monday at around 1.30 pm).
We have been offered an early check-in because of the closure at 17.00h and the day after of the thermal pool (main attraction), otherwise the check-in is very late (16.00h) and expensive late check-out. This is not tourist-friendly for someone who wants to come to this property to relax and enjoy the thermal pool. We didn't like the fact that there is no free-spa experience, for instance, the hotel facility is not free (admission for the natural grotto, vascular programme and hydro sound pool) and the staff is a bit rude giving the information, while the entrance to the external thermal pool is 10€ for the hotel guests and the Jacuzzi is 4€ for 10 minutes.

A great location to relax and not far from Rome”

The single room was small but very comfortable, very clean and nice range of toiletries. The booking said there would be a robe and sandals (for use at the pool) but they weren't in my room - a very helpful member of housekeeping sorted me out but it took a while and I was keen to get to the pool which was the main reason for my stay. The breakfast buffet was a good range of pastries, cheeses, fruits, breads, torte etc and limited hot foods. Good coffee and great staff - AND it was served until after 1000 so you could swim first (the pool opened at 0800) and go for breakfast (in your robe if you wished). The reception staff spoke English but not many other staff on site did so be prepared for lots of smiling and attempts to communicate (my Italian is terrible). The life saving staff at the pool were perhaps the most friendly and helpful on site! The helped to organise towels (which apparently should have been in my room but weren't, which caused some confusion), and moved sunbeds etc for me - on the second day they both came and said hi and checked in that everything was ok for me.
Information about services was quite scarce - when I checked in no information was offered and I had to ask about the arrangements for accessing the baths/pool and there was no 'promotion' of services as such. The WiFi was terrible (especially in my room) so I couldn't even go online to find out what time restaurants etc opened/closed or find out other information. There was no list of services for the Spa (a price list etc) nor prices on the items in the mini bar in my room. There was no bar - the signs to the bar led to an empty rooftop, and the cafe by the pool appeared to shut at apperitivo time - the indoor bar/cafe showed no signs of life in the early evening. The restaurant had quite a limited menu if you don't eat meat or fish - one vegetarian meal across all courses (mirrored by a similar side dish) so not recommended for vege/vegans. This was the most disappointing aspect of my stay - on the second evening I drove into Viterbo and ate there - which might not be an option for those without a car. The site advertises 3 places to eat but that was a bit misleading. If I were going again, I'd probably stay in Viterbo (lovely little town well worth a visit) and visit the pool for a day - probably a cheaper option if you're on a budget - especially as you have to pay for entry to the pool 10Euro per day on top of the cost of your room and I think daily entry is 14E at weekends - a bit more crowded than the 'hotel guest only' area but if you get there early there seems to be lots of space.

The same breakfast selection every day. Service staff hardly speaks English and often buffet items are running short/no replaced. Location is close to town.
I book this hotel for my daughter 9th birthday and family reunion, unfortunately turned to total disaster due to terrible service and poor amenities. At check in the receptionist Alessandro shouted at my kids. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights with 4 adults and 3 kids travelling with several suitcases, no luggage assistance was offered. We got rooms with dumpster views. Wifi didn't work for 2 days and despite complaining, nothing was done. The air-conditioning in one of the rooms (127) didn't work for 2 days and we had to sleep on 30 degree Celsius. A noisy fan was provided on 2nd night and no room move was offered. Upon departure, I was expressed my strong dissatisfaction and requested to speak with manager. The manager never came out and the same not friendly receptionist offered insulting 10 euro pool charge waive and 10% off on one night for not working aircon. Pathetic. As it was my daughter's birthday on departure day and we are in a hurry, I settled the entire bill and got the business card to file official complained. Since Aug 23, I have emailed several times the hotel to have this resolved and be properly compensated and they didn't reply for days. Finally they replied and offered 30% off on next stay. Then they offered 30% on a stay valid till 2025. We live in Asia and just spend many days travelling around Italy, so we are not coming back, especially after all this. I asked them to apply the 30% off on my recent stay, so we can move on and they never replied. I never expected such a poor service and facilities from this Hotel. I look forward to finally be properly compensated for those bad bad experiences. Despite sharing, that we are coming for special occasion, none acknowledged my daughter's birthday- not a word, not a note. I hope this review and all my emails reach the General manager, as I'm sure he/she is not aware, as all the replies are from generic mailbox with no name or title of the person replying.

I guess the racism is a big problem in Italy. Also they need to work on their staff to train them better.”

They charged me for the pool that I never used. Also, if you are black they are very racist. They look at you like you have fallen from the sky and you are an alien. Not only them all Italians are like that.
At the check out the person has zero experience. It was his first day at that job did not know how to use the software. Charged me for 6 day of pool use at the end. I had to leave my credit card information with them because I had to take a flight at the airport and this person we incapable.
