The employees are very nice!(especially thanks, Erick) I used four hotels during my travel, and this place is the only one that gave me water for free. The lunch is very nice and the remodeled- facility is wonderful to use. That is why I highly recommend and I hope I visit this hotel again!

Great old hotel ”
Old hotel, very nice but there was no mirror in the room. The only mirror was on the medicine cabinet that was meant for someone tall. I could barely see the top of my face. It was impossible to apply your make-up using this mirror. There should be a full length mirror on either the bathroom door or the closet door

Great place to stay in the center of LA!”
The location of this hotel is exceptional, safe and full of nice cafes, restaurants and supermarket. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The building looks a bit old but it was decorated very well. The cost of parking was $40 per night.

Lovely old style hotel and excellent staff”
My stay at Hotel Normandie was a great start to my US trip. I loved the old style and décor of the hotel. The staff were very friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. Although the breakfast was pretty basic, I appreciated the complimentary breakfast and the free wifi. The location was good; it was close to the metro, bus stops and I felt safe in the area.

We loved that the hotel is a walking distance from the Wilshire Normandie Metro station and there are many Korean restaurants around the hotel. The hotel design is unique. The restaurant located at the ground floor sells delicious burgers and sandwiches.

Great vintage-style hotel in Koreatown”
Very nice individually furnished hotel in a historic building in Koreatown. Tons of Korean restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Metro to downtown one minute away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Make sure not to get the room above a bar which is in the same building and can be noisy at night.

A cool little hotel ”
We stayed at the Normandie for 3 nights while in LA and we thought it was great! It was close to public transport, the rooms were perfect for what we needed and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. Cassell’s coffee and burgers were also amazing! We would stay here again!

The line hotel next door felt unnecessarily expensive, so I stayed at Normandy for a day and was much more than worth it. Our staff is friendly and we can get breakfast.

After a bad experience a few days earlier at a Hotel that was being refurbished during our stay, the noise of jackhammers on arrival here was a bit concerning, however we needn't have worried. The Hotel has been completely renovated, and whilst works were ongoing to the ground floor (I believe to create a restaurant) the rooms were all complete and to a very nice standard. Original hardwood floors had been sanded with large rugs and which kept the essence of the hotel's original appearance but modernised it thoroughly. Very friendly and attentive Valets and check-in staff. Reasonably priced mini-bar. Nice soaps and shower gels etc. I would definitely stay again. Hotel is in an area which means that taxi or car are required for tourist destinations, but also is away from traffic and there are places to eat just within walking distance along Wilshire

Stylish and pleasant”
The hotel is located in Koreatown - not too far from downtown. Our room was small but stylish. The breakfast room lacked atmosphere and the breakfast itself is very simple - so don´t expect something special there. The staff is super friendly and very helpful.

Located in the heart of Koreatown LA”
Nicely located in the heart of Koreatown, LA. Many many korean style restaurants in the area and it's easy to go anywhere using public transport from this hotel. The only drawback is that the downtown area of LA is kind of unsafe during the night, so that it prevented us to explore the downtown area during the night.

Very small rooms, thin walls with noisy neighbors”
When we arrived the staff was super friendly and the lobby is gorgeous. But the rooms are small, there were 12 people we could see staying in the room next to us and they partied all night. No closet or dresser for clothes and the views from the hotel were a brick wall and a construction site. It's a remodeled old building which is cool but that also means the elevator is painfully slow and small. We thought it would be charming and vintage but just felt old and outdated. Wouldn't recommend staying in Koreatown as it's extremely busy with traffic and zero parking.

Well located near metro station, safe neighbourhood, very friendly staff and nice ambience”
Very pleasant experience during my stay there for 3 nights. I am especially grateful as it's my first solo trip to LA. Eric at the front desk was very friendly and helpful when I checked in and during my entire stay, made me felt like home. Another front desk gentlemen (I forgot his name) was also very patient and helpful when I needed help with directions to places I want to visit. He was actually going off duty but stayed to provide me all details I needed to get from point to point and back to hotel. Room is clean and comfortable except there is no facility to boil hot water. They even go to the extend of folding the towels and toilet paper with pretty patterns :) Breakfast is simple and good too. Would recommend this hotel to those who need to travel by public transport. Metro is 5 mins walk and well connected by buses to different places.

Quaint hotel that celebrates its historical past”
This hotel has character! Staff were incredibly helpful & the room was very clean & spacious. The hotel offers complimentary wine tasting in the lobby every afternoon which was fantastic. Close to the subway & bus made it easy to travel around LA. Very safe area as well with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again

The staff was very nice and polite. They provide water bottle for free and the there was water dispenser too in front of our room. The room was very clean and spacious for 3 persons, we can open 5 medium size luggage at the same time. Bathroom is very clean and big. Even though it’s in the old building, but they did the renovation nicely. Very close to subway station. Will stay again in this hotel next time.

Located just a few mins walk from the Wilshire/Normandie station, it's a convenient base if you're looking to travel around using public transportation. The room is clean, tidy and minimal. In LA, every hotel pricey and this one may not come across as bang for your bucks at first, given it's not located near Downtown or Hollywood which are the main attractions people usually come here for. But because it's so near the train station, it makes it so much easier to travel around. Given it's relatively cheaper than its Downtown, Hollywood and Santa Monica counterparts, it's actually good value for money.
