Amazing gem close to airport”
Thank you so much from your sincere hospitality from the step we met at the airport to the farewell. I felt welcome and appreciated and loved the room deco. Bed was just perfect and that view from the balcony... Breathtaking. Delicious breakfast prepared and presented well. And beach is just at the door step. I would be delighted to return again. Happy to recommend Ocean Grand.

Service second to none”
We were treated so well, the man who picked us up from the airport, the staff who greeted us with drinks and cold towels at the reception and every staff member we came into contact with were absolutely fantastic, cannot speak any higher of them. The only con in an otherwise perfect stay was that I had organised in advance to have a little something set up in our room for my wife as it was our honeymoon, but they forgot to set it up and there wasn’t anything there, only a very small flaw, but worth improving on. Otherwise and absolutely perfect place to stay on our stop over night before heading to a resort off male.

Great little Gem”
I booked this hotel mostly as I needed a place to stay one night before flying to my resort. What a great little place! The staff was super friendly, very accommodating, and helpful. Once I got to the property I was really impressed. Fit and finish is first class and it was a great stay. View of the beach couldn't be a better way to wake up in the mornings. I'd love to stay for longer or if I'm back in the area for another day.

I have stayed in other hotels in hulhumale but this hotel is the best. I have never seen such hospitality anywhere. From hotel staff to rooms, every thing is so nice. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Will definitely recommend this to other travellers.

Good hospitality from airport to drop off. I did booking wrongly for 2 single bed. But they gave free upgraded to double bed. I didn’t include free breakfast but they provided. Good and kind staffs will stay again if I come to Maldives.

Good hotel, cozy, clean. 5 star service from staff both in the hotel and in their two restaurants. They’re doing a great job! Only minus is the noise (a lot of construction sites around) but it’s not a big deal. Overall, probably best place to stay in Hulhumale.

Exceptional”
Lovely hotel. Room and all common areas kept exceptionally clean. I would recommend that the hotel clean the area of the beach in front of them. No one picks up the litter which comes in from the sea and this spoils the area. All hotels are the same. Perhaps if Ocean Grand did this, others would follow. We enjoyed food in the restaurant and in the buffet area. It’s a shame the roof top restaurant wasn’t open the two days we stayed there. We were told it was closed but not why. Didn’t realise alcohol wasn’t served here or whole island but we did really enjoy the Mocktails and juices. staff were really helpful and a credit to the hotel.

Nice hotel for a night or two”
Had a room for a night after arriving to Malé before continuing to other islands. Overall nice stay. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Room was clean. A shame though that our room had a window view of a wall. Bathroom smelled a bit of sewage a few times. Bathrooms lights could be looked at. Decent buffet breakfast. Restaurant on the roof had good food and fast service.

Our departure flight was 11:25 pm but seaplane from DUSIT THANI brought us to airport 4 pm. We didnt have anything to do so i decided to check in here. It was a good decision. We were able to relax in a cool room, watch tv and had dinner in their restaurant. Food was surprisingly very enjoyable! They included our transfer in and out to the airport!

Stayed one night as my inbound flight was too late to catch a seaplane transfer. Requested for a private transfer which was smooth and well coordinated. Room was a decent size and clean with adequate amenities. Staff were polite and professional. Would highly recommend.

We Booked a Deluxe Double room, because the Ocean view with balcony was not available at that Time. The room is as big as described and modern equipped. The Shower is new and very Good. Staff is very kindly. Diner at the roof top is excellence. Breakfast was ok. You have Marmelade, Toast, pancakes fruites etc. And local style. But our room had no window to the outside, but to the aircon Space. See the pics. You need at anytime a light because no daylight will come to the room. This is because all Houses are close to each other due to Space Problem. The price regarding to the Ocean view is a little bit too high. For a one night stop over accomodation was our room ok. But for a longer stay we recommend the Ocean view rooms with balcony only.

Good hotel on beach front”
This is a decent hotel on the beach front in Hulhumale. The rooms are a bit small but for the time you are likely to spend in them they are fine. Breakfast is reasonable with hot and cold options fresh fruit and omelettes and eggs cooked to order. They have a free shuttle service to and from the airport and a private shuttle service available for 15 dollars. They have a private area on the beach and a waterside cafe/restaurant where you can sit and relax. As with all the beach area save for a small portion a short walk from the hotel there is no bikini wearing allowed and patrons have to respect a modest dress code. The whole island is dry save for one hotel and unlike Dubai this includes your hotel. The bridge to Male/Hulhumale was completed 3 months ago and the whole island is a building site. What was basically a dormitory for overnight travellers to and from resort islands to the airport is now experiencing massive development but every other building is a building site.
