Free wifi (very fast), very near Earl’s Court Underground, room serviced everyday”
Located in the expensive Kensington area, the price is considered affordable for the room size. Not being discriminative, but for safety reasons, if you are considered morbidly obese / had knee surgery(ies) / have gout problems / on wheelchair, please book another hotel. The room and water closet (so tiny it cannot be classified as a toilet) are just tiny for a normal human to manoeuvre. It is a lucky thing that I am flexible and not obese. I was with my family in Oliver during 2004, and returning for nostalgic reasons. As my conference was in Tower Hill, and the Royal College of Music is within reach for concerts, this came as a fitting choice. PROS: Arrive at Earl’s Court from either airport Terminals 1, 2, 3 or 4. Then exit onto Earls Court Road, NOT Warwick Road, you will turn left, pass Sainsbury’s and hotel is opposite the road after the junction; Grade II historical British style white building; Boss Bobby is friendly (he wears a turban); kettle, jugs and basic utensils provided at pantry with unlimited tea and coffee 24/7; TV with interesting British and international channels; Ms Husna is generous with complimentary breakfast of orange juice, cornflakes, toast, jams, butter, ham, egg, Tesco yoghurt; 4 pounds for breakfast for each extra guest; traditional key hole mechanism; clean bedroom and bathroom with fixed shower; small bar soap / packet shampoo; two towels provided with room service. CONS: 20 pounds’ deposit for TV remote / safe key (keep receipt for refund when checking out); no heating in room – despite complaints – seriously cold; shower head very wobbly (the water splashed onto ceilings when showering – water pressure was excellent though with heated water all the time); beddings and curtains quite dated despite the minor refurbished wallpapers. But given the price, please do not expect 5-stars service. OVERALL: I may stay here again due to the convenient location. Do bring extra jacket in case there is no heating (again).

Adequate place to stay”
Breakfast was good and serving staff very gracious. Our room was quiet and clean. Could use fresh paint but satisfactory overall.

Calm place”
Easy to access to Central of London, clean hotel with good hygiene and comfortable bed
It is good to live in this hotel whereby it is near to Earl Court station and plenty of restaurant and grocery shop. Halal food also have a choice. The room are too small for a big size people and their toilet not very comfort especially when take a shower. If you have tight budget it is recommended to stay in Oliver but for couple or family is better to find other hotel.

Uncomfortable and Small”
Location, close to underground, and fast wi-fi connection.
Room was much smaller than other places in London we have stayed in before. Bathroom very, very small - hard to sit on toilet as your legs are right up against the wall. Bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Tatty room, breakfast and service”
location, quiet room at rear
Very disappointing. We had just moved from just down the road (couldn't extend our booking there, so took two days at the Oliver). We paid 50% more for 50% less. Room had four beds, and was quiet, but the door to the shower/toilet was only 32 cms wide, with a freely hanging sliding door) and you had to distort your body to wash your face in the bowl. The shower stall was so small that it could not house a soap dish so you had to turn the water off, open the door to the stall and put the soap in the washbasin nearby. When our room was done we found that towels had been left on the beds to air and dry. There was one slim pillow for each person and a well-worn cushion, the cover of which obviously does not get washed between clients. Breakfast service was impolite, with every item measured (one apple, 2 slices of toast, one measure of cornflakes, one boiled egg, ham, a pot of tea/coffee). They advertise 24 hour coffee / tea availability - in the dining room, but there was a large industrial can of coffee powder left open, which was neither hygienic nor tempting. We had paid in advance for the second night, but did not stay.

Hôtel pourrait être bien, petit déjeuner sympa. Mais la qualité du service entretien pour une réservation sur plusieurs jours successifs laisse gravement à désirer !!!
