Super clean and near to black pig street”
The hotel was super clean. Has no elevator but the stairs was ok. The receptionist were very friendly and helpfull, they even help me to find taxi driver for taxi tour. If you want to find a good black pig restaurant, please ask for their recomendation. Because last time, their recomendation is the best black pig restaurant i ever eat in Jeju island. I can not remember the restaurant name because it was written in korean :). The room is spacious enough and all facilities working well. The breakfast was decent, eventhough there only bread, eggs, jam, milk, coffee and water. You have to make your own breakfaast and wash your own dining utensils. I recommend this hotel and will stay in Jeju R hotel when i travel to Jeju island. A great place to stay. Thanks!

been visiting jeju island 3 times since 2017 and i always stayed in this property. walking distance from bust stop of airport limousine, walking distance to seogwipo market, and bus station in roundabout. value for money with all the things i need for traveling: laundry, microwave, and water. restaurants are everywhere, convenient for me to roam south part of jeju island.

Great location”
The hotel is in a very good location. Within walking distance to a number of attractions especially the Seogwipo Olle Maeil market where u can find lots of street food. There are also many restaurants near the hotel as it is near Arang Jeoul Food Street. Only 1 small con - the hotel only provide small towels in the hotel room so if u want to use a full size bath towel do bring it from home.

Value for money”
This is a new hotel, got a 4 bed room for our group. The floor was heated and the aircon was working unlike others that turn it off during cold weather. There was a fridge and tv and mineral bottles and towels that they replenish for every two nights stay. Breakfast was decent, eggs and bread and jam and coffee. Frontdesk was very helpful during our entire stay, patiently explaining to us how to get around Jeju and printing maps for us as Google maps was not reliable. Will definitely come back when in Seogwipo!

Incredible Staff”
R Hostel has it all. Their prices are great and the dorm-room was very clean and comfy. The breakfast is delicious and very filling, perfect to stock-up on food before hiking up one of the island's volcanoes. Their location is perfect, just five minutes away from a bus stop from which all sightseeing spots around the island can be reached... In fact, I ended up using Seogwipo as my sole base camp, taking advantage of the branching network of buses that, for very low fares, can take you anywhere you have in mind. And last but certainly not least, their staff is absolutely fantastic, extremely helpful and always willing to go out of their way to make your day-trips as time-efficient as possible. You'll try R Hostel for their prices and facilities, but you'll stay for their staff.

I can't praise R Hotel enough. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, no query or question was too much for them. The staff all speak English and have many recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Although breakfast is simple (toast, jam, eggs and fruit juice), it made a welcome change to Kimchi and rice! I can see that the hotel has previously been rated down for 'location'. However, it was in the perfect location for us. Within walking distance to many tourist attractions. If you are wanting to go a little further out, there's a scooter rental shop just round the corner called Scooter and Freezone where they speak English. The room was very clean and comfortable, with toiletries included as well as the room having air-conditioning, a TV, a fridge and a hair dryer. The hotel was very well equipped in general; they have a large kitchen which you can use freely to cook, as well as a pool table, computers, bicycles and an american football table. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel R and it would definitely be our first choice of places to stay if we return to Seogwipo!

A great stay with super friendly staff”
We stayed in a double bed room at the hotel, They also offer dormitories and larger rooms, if you are solo or with your family. We chose to stay here because it was central in Seogwipo, and it was a great choice. You are a few minutes away from the market and from a gorcery store (double-win), which is great because they have a communal kitchen you can use. If you don't feel like cooking, there are a ton of restaurants around. It's also walking distance from the poet's park and 2 of Jeju's falls. It's on a quiet street, and near most of the buses you need to take to get around. The staff is also very friendly and speaks English very well, so it's easy to get by. The rooms are clean and quaint, and they are cleaned very day. Like most asian hotels, they are not very spacious, but you have enough room to walk around. You also have a mini fridge in the room to stock your water. Overall, it was an awesome stay with the staff there! They are friendly, helpful and really nice! And, it has amazing wifi all around the place! What more could you ask for!

location wise ”
I like the location wise. Very near to the bus stop for Airport Bus (number 600). You can walk around the Seogwipo area within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and I like very much my room. Comfortable and the bed is very comfy. staff is friendly and they provide pantry for guests to prepare their own meal. I really recommend this hotel for those who wants to look for accommodation in Seogwipo area. good job guys.

Great Place to Stay”
The location is perfect, close to airport limo bus stop, close to bus stops from which all sightseeing spots around the island can be reached. Near to food street and walking distance from Maeil Olle market. staff is absolutely fantastic, friendly, extremely helpful and speaks English very well. Will stay again in future.

Great Value, Perfect location”
Hotel is easy to reach by airport limousine bus 600 if you're coming from Jeju airport. Just get off at New Kyungnam Hotel and walk back about a block. You can opt to ride their intercity bus 182 and get off at Jungang Rotary East Station. There's a convenient store just across the street and a food street is also a block away. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Minjun drive us to the east side and patiently waiting for us while we were in Udo. By the way, simple but delicious breakfast is served! will stay here again.

Pleasant stay”
If you are looking for a budget hotel, this is a fine choice. Although there were only 6-7 parking lot, but we didn't have any issue with the parking space even when we came back late at night. Room was pretty small, but there were enough space to open up two 22'' luggages. Our bedsheets was quite dirty with many hair strands when we checked in. Told the receptionist about it they had the cleaner to change it immediately. Room condition may not be the best but necessary facilities were there. The hotel is actually located near to the food street, but most restaurants close quite early. There was a really nice fried chicken shop that opens till late night though, we had that for dinner/supper for a couple of nights. There is also a supermarket near the hotel. But if you are really left with no choice for food, there is a CU mart near the hotel as well and it is opened 24hr.

Would Come Back”
I would definitely come back here if I am staying on the island. The front desk staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful and patient I have come across in all my travels. The hostel is close to the market and a waterfall. The beds are comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily and you can tell. There were two bathrooms in the hostel dorms and a fully stocked kitchen downstairs (with a mini fridge in the room!). The only thing I would suggest is adding a privacy curtain for the bottom bunk beds.

Good choice for traveler on budget ”
Located close to restaurants, and near the Jeju Olle office, but not close to bus stops. Kitchen and the common hall were super big but look messy. I wish they hired an interior designer and remodeled these rooms. I got a key to my room but the room was never locked! There are 2 bathrooms in a six beds dormitory which is very good. You can use the laundry and dryer machine for 10.000 Won. They also offer bike to rent. Simple bread and egg for breakfast. I couldn’t locate tea and coffee during my stay, but I bring my own so I didnt bother to asked. There are oranges on table for everyone and I hope they always provide it.

Nice location, nice hotel”
The special thing I love most is the kitchen where you can cook and have breakfast. The room is nice, clean. The receptionist is also nice. The location is good to visit some waterfalls around, easy to go to Tea farm. This hotel is behind the bus station 600 which is directly to the airport. I'll stay here again if I'm back to Jeju.

Great location but bad check-in experience with staff”
The location is great and the room is very confortable, good value for price. Ideally located near lots of sites to see in Seogwipo and near the airport bus. However upon my check-in at 11pm I had the very bad surprise when the staff told me they canceled my booking of my room because someone called to say I was not coming because I was not feeling well, which is a call I NEVER made... When I asked for explanation on how they verified the identity of the caller they blabbered another excuse which obviously showed that they were lying. The staff later apologised for the "mishap" but it still left me bitter while I was expecting good service after all the good reviews...

So clean and helpful hotel”
The hotel is very clean and warm with perpect heating system in cold weather. It takes 5 minutes to food street and convenience stores. It have big shared kitchen with full kitchen equipments where you can cook meal for yourself. And it's very near bus stop and some sightseeing points. The host and receptionist here are so nice and helpful. They can provide you details maps and instruction as well as delicious restaurants. We were so satisfied with this choice

Very very helpful staff, nice location, excellent breakfast, good value for money”
All the staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Special mention to the 2 Mr. Kim(s) in the counter. Younger Kim fetched us from the the intercity bus stop and carried our luggages all the way up to our room because there is no lift available in this hostel. Older Kim help us how to go the a farm for our tangerine picking tour. He even gave us clear directions written in korean in pieces of paper for us to hand over the taxi driver for him to drive us to the farm. Room was spacious. Has tv, wifi, ref. Toilet was big too and complete with toiletries. Kitchen is quite big too. Loved their breakfast - breads, jams, luncheon meat slices, coleslaw, juice and coffee. Bu you have to be early for breakfast. It starts at 7 in the morning. :) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.
