Stay was great!”
Location, staff and cleanliness perfect, except there is no lift/elevator. We are on the 6th floor it’s hard to go up and down thru the stairs.

The place is in good location very close to a metro station or bus stop. The room was small but cozy, the staffs were accommodating and their breakfast is superb. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a budgeted place to stay in Paris.

The Hotel is very old and TIRED with no air conditioning. The rooms need TOTAL renovation. The first night was charged on reservation contrary to what was advertised.

Dirty place”
The hotel is old and dirty. There was hair on the floor , in the bathtub and there was even poop in the toilet!!!! The elevator is useless, it stops between floors, so you have to carry your suitcases upstairs. The owner is rude. The wifi doesn't work. The breakfast was ok. That was the only good thing.

Not a pleasant expirience”
i booked this hotel for the location only. i booked it on agoda but to my astonishment when i visited here, i was told that my booking is not confirmed. it took me wbout an hour talking to agoda customer service to get it done . Again, the room i was given is a bit cramped . as we were tired, we decided to take some rest. I shockingly woke amid shout of my wife screaming to a hair dryer sparking and its lid came out. we were unqble to off it . Hurrylingly we went to reception( as no telephone to ring the reception) to call a electrician who took has to cut off the room supply to turn it off. Goshh!! we went out to travel. Beeter raom around to stuck in it here. we spent only single night here and felt happy that we were checking out next day overall i would not recommed it to couples who are here to enjoy paris with their partners. only plus point is its location. Rest u decide

Never comecback again”
The hotel so small, I checked in at 4 PM, the old man was checking in and answering the following phone. He didn't give me key and passport until 30 minutes and ask me pay room fee. After finished pay, he give me key on 6th floor and said: Today elevator errored. Please take your luagage up stair by your self. The coridor also dark and small - very dangerous. Room only one bed and every thing are old and narrow. You'd better not book this hotel or have and bad experienced there like me.

The heating was not working , the room was in the worst condition, the room was dirty. No soap. Washroom was the worst part. Plz save urself from this !!

This has to be the worse hotel I have ever been in my life. The lifts are broken, too many stairs to get to your room, rooms are gross, no fridge, no iron, receptionist does not know where anything is even though they are the ones who live in France.

our 4 nights stay here was the best choice of hotel. Firstly, I underestimated this hotel regarding the 2 stars it has, but as we accomodated, I realised that was a preconception. About the staff, they were very helpful, they gave us a city map, they speak english very well all of them. We had coffee every morning, even if we didn't buy the breakfast (personel insisted in having breakfast every morning, FOR FREE). Our room was rather small, but nothing unusual for Paris; it was cleaned every morning after leaving the room. Our bed was made up every day even if we arranged it before leaving in the city. Yes, you can easily see that time passed a lot through the furniture (it is old, but still "functional"), but it's a cosy room with a very cosy bed. The towels were changed every day, if needed. I only have to say that it isn't luxurious, but it worth the money definetily!!! With a little renovation, they should consider on gaining 3 stars because I saw 3 stars hotels which are far worse! oh yes, the localisation... The hotel is situated in north-east of the city, as you can see on the map:). The main idea is that it has a great location, as we were often walking by foot to the city center. It is near to Gare du Nord( 400-500 m), but the nearest metro station is CADET. You can easily arrive in any part of the city from this metro station (Paris has a very complex metro sistem at first sight, but once you got the idea of it, it is very simple to get everywhere). The hotel is a few streets distance from Sacre Coeur (must see). There is even a supermarket near the hotel. Tip: there are many restaurants arround the hotel, you won't get starving, for sure;) In conclusion, we were very satisfied by the hotel and if you look for a modest, but cosy and clean stay, don't hesitate making a booking at Hotel Opera Paris! PAY ATTENTION TO PICKPOCKETS IN THE CITY!!!!!!!!!

Trains, Cafes, and Quiet.”
Hotel Opera is a great place to stay if you are using trains out of Gard du Nord. it's also close to the Metro and is a more residential neighborhood with nice cafes instead of some of the more touristy areas. The big sites in Paris are all easy to get to from Hotel Opera Paris. i enjoyed the people and the place.

Great hotel in heart of city”
The owner of this hotel is spectacular. My luggage was lost on the flight and went out of his way to give us a coat. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the location is good. This is not for anyone who is expecting over the top fancy Paris dream hotel but we thought it was great.

Perfect!”
This was perfect. The rooms had good new beds, a desk and chair, a closet, and a bathroom with toilet and bath/shower. Clean towels every day. There was an elevator. No power sockets but I could unplug the TV to get to one. The window had double glass so you don't hear the traffic as much. The street outside the hotel is very noisey, and the traffic never stops, like in any large city. From the 2nd floor I could just see the Eiffel Tower from my window. Staff was always present, even at night, and very helpful and extremely friendly. The hotel is very close to Gare du Nord and a metro stop (Poissonniere) is just down the street. With a few stops you're near all the main sights: Louvre, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower. Also next to the hotel is a large supermarket, with several other shops in the same street.

A nice , simple hotel in good neighbourhood”
This hotel is located in a nice neighborhood in Paris, surrounded by stores and restaurants. Next to the hotel is a real Italian restaurant La Luna - great food and very friendly service there. Hotel staff is very friendly. Room is a reasonable size for Paris standards - not too small. Room has it's own small bathroom with shower and toilet. So a great place to stay a few days and discover Paris. They offer a 50% discount on a parking place a blocks away.
