Nice staff ”
Close to the Roissy bus stop at Opera. The morning staff is very nice, friendly and willing to help with my questions.
small but close to everything”
Bed was comfortable, clean with no things in good repair. Lift was the smallest I had ever been in and we were given the room with no view ( see trip advisor pictures). Overall I was happy because it was close to the subway and bus to the airport. Area safe and quite. Bonus... coffee maker in room! 24 hour desk staff, breakfast available there if you want to buy. Would stay again for the price I got. Like everything in Europe its small but doable for the no nonsense travelers.
Am the location is great”
it is located in zone 8 of Paris, which you could access metro and bus easily. You could take airport bus easily too (about 10mins walk). The Lafayette and Opera are within walking distances. The staff are quite nice, breakfast has simply choices but it is good. First when you arrived, you would be surprised by the size of lift, and the shower area is a bit small when compare with other hotels in France. The room doesn't has an air con, so you have to open the window and turn on the fan, but it didn't cause much trouble to us as we travel in spring. Wifi didn't work on the first day, but it ran well afterward.
I was worried about the size of the room when I read the comments left by other traveller, however, my worry was cleared the moment I got into my room. The room is much bigger than I expected, clean double bed, flat TV on the wall, closet is small and even if we didn't use it, we didn't feel it was occupying too much space. I love the small balcony, just good for 2 people to observe what is going on at the street and smoke without trigger the fire alarm. The toilet is small but for Asian woman, it's perfectly fine. We could open both luggages and left it open and yet we still got plenty of space. We even got our shopping bags occupying some space. They have the SMALLEST lift in the world, 150kg max for the load. It could really just fit 1 person and 1 luggage each time, when I read the review, I thought it was exagerated but its true! I find the lift cute though, and in perfect working condition. They don't provide kettle and free water, 1 lit bottle water can be purchased at the reception at 2€ which was reasonable. The night shift receptionist gave us some good tips for Eiffel Tower location!
Great location but small rooms”
i choose the hotel opera vivaldi primarily due to its location. if you land at cdg and take the roissy bus to opera garnier, the hotel is just only three blocks away from where the drop-off. the subway, galeries lafayette and the printemps are all within five mins walk. also, the hotel although is small but clean and the staffs are friendly.
Good location, small room and old facilities.
Friendly and helpful staff, small clean hotel near everything for a reasonable price! ”
Just be aware- there is no air conditioning and it’s on a busy (loud) side street, so if you’re traveling during summer months, it can be hot & noisy....But all in all, a great little place in the center of Paris!
Poor amenities and service ”
Good location. No toothbrush provided. They provide just a free bottle of water on the first day no matter how long you stay. Room had a mouldy smell. Lift was small and claustrophobic. The toilets had an automatic light sensor which means you always have to move around while pooping so it won’t go dark. If you take the stairs the sensors do not illuminate the path before you so you end up having to work a fair bit in the dark.
Location is extremely prime only 5min walk to Lafayette”
Location is extremely prime, only 5min walk to Lafayette. The room is tidy but really small, espeically the toilet which you can hardly turnaround your body. The lift is the smallest and cuttest one I ever seen across so many countries which I have travelled. Staffs are nice and well responding to your questions.
Location of the hotel is excellent!! Close to every important place to visit. The stuff was very polite with willingness to help for whatever issue needed. High recommendation for staying in the Opera Vivaldi Hotel!!!
Good location for a 3-star hotel”
Stayed 4 nights in the hotel. Walking distance of about 5 mins to the tube station. The hotel is situated between two tube stations (Opera / La Fayette) as well as many eateries and walking distance to Galleries La Fayette shopping mall. Staff are friendly. The room is a bit old with no air conditioned. The lift is small which can only accommodate 2 people. The clothes cabinet does not have doors which made it difficult for us to hang our clothes. Overall, the stay was satisfactory for us.
Easy to get to and close to Opera”
My stay as Hotel Opera Vivaldi was excellent. The hotel was easy to find from the Roissybus stop at Opera - within 5 minutes walk. The staff was friendly and my room was ready for me even though I arrived very early in the morning. The location of Hotel Opera Vivaldi is also very convenient to public transportation (trains/buses) and is also in walking distance to many shopping and site seeing options.
No air-condition, no hot water for bathing, lift c”
Newly renovated hotel, however no air-condition and not safe to open the window. Lift and corridor are extremely narrow, only one people can stay. Not enough hot water to support the hotel for bathing at once. Either bath at the non-peak hour. e.g noon time or late morning.
Great but small room”
The location of this hotel was pretty good. About 10mins or less walk to the metro line. There are alot of restaurants around the vicinity to try and its pretty decent. For the stay itself, it was pleasant and the walls are pretty sound proof. It was quiet so that was good and the bed was nice. The only problem is the room size which is small.
Oni location is good, the rest are bad”
Rooms & toilets are very small. Do not even have enough space to open 2 luggages. Hotel do not provide drinking water or cups, let alone complimentary tea&coffee facilities. I should be thankful that there is an extra roll of toilet paper. When we take hot water from the ground floor pantry, we were eyed with displeasure. After a few days of taking hot water only, we were asked to wash our own cups!! I was shocked as we are guests. We are graceful enough to clean up our table and bring the cups to the sink. Argument in French (which we do not understand)with the service staff and the Manager about us taking hot water were taken place right in front of us. Goosh!! Total disappointment
Nice Rooms in excellent location.”
i decided to stay there due to a shopping trip, so this is a great location is walking distance from the department stores, and with the subway you can easily go anywhere. staff is very helpful. check in and checkout took less than one minute, so they are very fast with everything. the lift is tiny, but you can fit two persons or one person and and huge suitcase. but rooms size is good.
Compacted hotel with friendly service”
Compacted room, compacted lift (max 2 people), clean room and everything function well. Friendly staff at front desk. I can find any kinds of food in few minutes walk around the hotel, include Japanese, Thai and fast food. 2 minutes walk to Metro makes my 11 days trip in Paris very convenient, include 5 minutes walk to airport bus terminal. The road in front of hotel is small, and a bit scary during night time (I got ask for money few times). Another downside is every day 5 am., there will be a truck collects garbage parking in front of hotel. Its noise is a good alarm clock. All others are OK. Recommended.
great location modern and clean”
The room was small (which is pretty standard for Paris accom) but the bathroom was modern and clean and the bed was relatively comfortable. The location of this place is it's real selling point - it's really close to the Opera Garnier building and the Lafayette Galeries. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a couple who are looking for clean modern accom in the centre of paris. (NB the carpet in the room was pretty old and dirty).
Close to city center”
Friendly staff, Helful staff. This is my 3 rd staying here. Cause for me its easy to go for shopping ...
Very nice! Super hotel!
