I chose this place because everything we wanted to see was in walking distance and the hotel had a nice look and design for the price! We really enjoyed staying here! Staff were very kind and friendly. The room and small bathroom were very clean, and we were able to wash and dry our clothes on a lower floor with the coin laundry machines. The coffee in the cafe was very good quality. Also having a small breakfast toast there was an excellent way to start the day! Would stay again.

Lovely and cozy boutique hotel”
Cozy hotel with creative design and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay so sooooo much! Staff was very lovely and helpful. The hotel is next to Omicho Market and 5-10 mins walk to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. But the hotel is located a little far from Kanazawa Station about 20 mins walk.

Disappointing”
I booked this hotel because of the great reviews. They are not inaccurate in that the the staff are very. friendly and helpful, the hotel has a boutique feel, and the cafe has a quaint atmosphere. But I thought the room facilities were poor, particularly for the price. The mattress wasn’t comfortable, there was only one pillow, the towels were thin, there was no blackout curtain and the light shone through the blinds at sunrise, there were no English speaking channels on the TV, and noise insulation was poor - noises in the corridor could be heard clearly in the room.

Wonderful stay”
I would definitely stay at hotel pacific again. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size and really well laid out with space for our 2 bags. It was quiet, even with the aircon on at night and bedside lights were appreciated. We hired the hotel bikes at a great rate and enjoyed exploring on them. The espresso coffee in the cafe was appreciated every morning too. It is in a great location, central to all major attractions within easy walking distance and with the market nearby fresh food is readily available. The hotel has a relaxed casual ambience that made it a joy to return to each evening, I recommend it highly.

Lovely and cosy hotel in Kanazawa”
This little hotel is perfectly located in Kanazawa just next to Omi-cho market and in walking distance to the castle park, the Kenrokuen garden and the old quarter. The owners are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. My room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, clean and nicely decorated. Check in and check out were easy and fast and the little café downstairs serves delicious drinks. Highly recommended!

My friend and I had a perfect stay at hotel pacific, it was in a great location for seeing the parks and visiting the art museum. The staff were very friendly and the hotel had a great atmosphere, very clean and cosy

Great location, nice vibe, so so service ”
Hotel is highly recommended for excellent location, nice staff, cool vibe. However hotel room cleaning service is a bit so so - they explained "usually we only change the towels and empty the bin - is this enough for you?" To which I said yes. However what I hadn't realised was that this statement was 100% literal - they ONLY change towels and empty the bin. They didn't pull the bed straight or vacuum the floor or wipe surfaces in room/bathroom - it just left me wondering "why? this is Japan - cleanest country in the world - you have cleaning staff, why not just get them to wipe the surfaces?" Other thing is that the walls are a bit thin. We got back in at 11pm one night and were giggling - guest upstairs started banging on the floor. Immediately we were quiet of course but that level of nice travel seems unusual to me. I have to say though that overall this place was great - these are just small niggles.

Within walking distance to the Kanazawa station, castle park. Room is spacious though the washroom is not. It also reeks sewerage but I'm not sure if it's just my room...

Was here for 1 night. Basically the location of the stay is convienent and closed to Omi-cho market and Kanazawa castle.
