A little peace of Zen for me”
Hotel Palm Garden is in a perfect location, two minute walk to Sanur Beach, shopping and restaurants just around the corner. When I checked in, I was greeted with a yummy glass of cold juice. I was two hours early and was going to wait in the lobby for my room and they had it all ready. That was nice! It set the tone for a good stay. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, there are rock/stone pathways to each room, the pool, the restaurant. Beautiful flowers everywhere. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. I decided the beach was too crowded for me so I stayed at the hotel pool and just relaxed there. There was such a good feeling being at the pool at Hotel Palm Garden and being in Bali, it just felt right. Now, one thing, when you enter the rooms, it's a little bit of a concern because they are very dated. However, they were spotless and big and there were men there all day long tidying up the grounds and the rooms. I will for sure stay there again when I'm in Bali.

Excellent location in Sanur”
Very short walk to the beach, where there are plenty of Warungs with local food, nice sandy beach, and beautiful sunrises (if you get up early!). Also short walk to the shops in Sanur. A good base to explore Sanur and further afield. Hotel was very clean, spacious rooms, large comfy bed, nice pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Building work started next door but it did not affect us at all. Overall a great little hotel in a good location and good value for money.

Close to everything”
Small, friendly Hotel. Large clean rooms. Very close to Beach front, and main street. Team happy to assist with anything you need, ask and they will try their best make it happen. Pool medium size, always clean. Cute small gardens well maintained. One small negative were the bathroom towels, perhaps ready for replacement. We had a great stay.

Just beautiful”
It's my 1st time here and hopefully not my last. I do know how popular it is here and how hard it is to get in. Now I know why. Even though it is a little older it's still has the signs of class and quality. Amazing manicured gardens, lovely staff and I just love the pool. I actually cancelled 5 days I had booked to stay here for next month due to the kind warning from the hotel about the construction site next door. I'm sorry I cancelled because the noise is minimal, it doesn't bother you one little bit. Thanks for a wonderful few days.

Peaceful ”
2nd time back to Hotel Palm Garden in Sanur. And it hasn't disappointed. Grounds are lush and tidy. Pool is clean and refreshing. Front Office staff...especially Dayu...always helpful and smiling! So close to the beach..only 5 minutes walk. Rooms are clean and spacious. So I've just rebooked another 18 nights.

Little gem”
This hotel is ideally located within 100 metres of the beach and near some fantastic restaurants. It is a small boutique hotel within only a few rooms, great swimming pools and lovely tropical gardens.

Sweet Spot”
The garden and pool are lovely, the room very comfortably furnished, the location ideal. The only drawback is that the building seems to be aging, with leaky plumbing and noise from neighboring rooms. These are minor inconveniences which will not spoil your enjoyment

Not great but good value for money when on the budget”
Good value for money is the only factor. Rooms need some upgrade and there is a construction site next to the hotel (which, surprisingly, was not very noisy - only unwanted attention from the construction workers was an issue for me). Friendly staff - helped to rent a bike, breakfast included (which is a bargain, really). Overall, I could not find anything cheaper and nicer so I guess it did the trick :)

Old traditional hotel which needs renovation”
When I arrived to the hotel I was placed to another room because I was only for one night. I wasn't happy about it. Staff wasnt very welcoming for me either as I was only for one night. I would not return to this hotel even though the location is quite central at the Sanur area.

Disaster”
Booked and paid for 2 rooms when we got there hotel decided thefe were no rooms available and to contact agoda to try and get a refund, after an hour of arguing which totally spoilt our day they then found rooms for us! after checking the hotel had plenty of rooms empty, what is that all about!! In the morning more arguments as we paid for breakfast but they decided no breakfast available, we ended up with a plate of fruit!! My friends 1st day and visit to Bali absolute disaster!! Would not recommend this hotel

Exceptional”
A beautiful older style hotel in well maintained grounds. Swimming pool is excellent. There are very few accessible power outlets in the room, and none at all in the bathroom. You will need a power extension cord and a power board or double adapter. I am just under 180cm. tall and had to stoop to use the mirror in the bathroom, and sit to see in the mirror in the main room. The shower was one of the best I have found in ten years of Bali trips. Breakfast was a bit limited but adequate. All staff were friendly and helpful, and all spoke very good English.

The staff made our stay very pleasant. The hotel would be classed as a small boutique hotel without the boutique price tag. The gardens are well keep, the swimming pool is immaculate. Vegetarian breakfast was no trouble as they made especially for us. The bedrooms are a good size with clean white linen. Pleanty of hot water in the bathrooms. All up a great stay.

This hotel is a gem it’s location is fabulous close to beach and restaurants a stroll to our favourite cafe bamboo and equally as close to main strip with loads of places to choose from the hotel itself is small and could do with an upgrade the bathrooms are quite small and desperately need attention the towels and bedding are old but comfortable and kept clean underneath its age. The pool area is tidy and the pool itself is cool and refreshing after a day out the grounds are kept nice and tidy the breakfast are the normal hotel breakfasts you get in Bali will definitely return and would recommend to anyone
