A Great Find”
Great location. Restaurants are just a hop away. One just a street behind is Kokusai Village Street – where you can find beautiful bars and stalls offering all kinds of food and drinks. Shops are mostly tourist and souvenir shops, but you can wander around the Heiradori and Mutsumidori markets where you can find more local finds and produce. The hotel has a hot bath and a spa. We didn't venture into the hot bath but went for excellent foot reflexology. The staff we always ready to help in restaurant recommendation and to call for taxis. Breakfast was terrific with plenty to choose from. Room and bathroom space were not big but adequate for a 2 nights stay. Lastly, the hotel has an art gallery during our stay, featuring art pieces from all over the world.
Very good location”
Excellent location, right at the center of the busy street of Kokusai-dori! Room was spacious and there was a newly built hot bath in the hotel. Saw a Swimming pool under renovation expected to be ready in summer this year, hotel is upgrading with more facilities to serve guests. The only thing lacking is no kettle in the room, had to request for it but they do provide a water cooler at the lift lobby at every level to get hot or cold water.
Excellent location ”
Excellent location on Kokusai street close to Makashi monorail station. Cosy rooms, modern design. Size of the two beds room is all right. Very good breakfast. It was my fourth stay in Naha and the best of all hotels, even the more expensive ones cannot beat it. Highly recommended, I will come back. If you travel for whale watching, February and March are better than January.
Hotel is located in one of the side streets within Kokusai Dori, main tourist area with restaurants and shops. Hence it's very quiet. It has onsen for male and female; there's self-service laundry on the same level as the onsen. From Naha airport, take the mono rail and alight at Makishi station. Turn left to Kokusai Dori, you will first see Lawson. Walk straight ahead till you come to a junction, hotel is on your left, McDonald is on the opposite street. Tourist Information Center is located opposite the hotel. There's direct bus to the castle from the bus-stop outside McDonald. But the frequency is like 30-45 mins...good thing is the bus stop outside the Castle. If you take the mono rail, you have to walk 15 mins. Staff service is also very good. Room size is small. It has coffee making machine in the room. All in all, strongly recommended.
Breakfast was great and staff was friendly.
very convenient, with charged carpark”
great location next to shopping area, carpark was around 1000 yen per night
My first time in Okinawa was a combination of exploring investment opportunities and tourism. The room was small but I'm used to this as I have traveled to Japan many times and now live here. Although I'm used to it, it is quite inconvenient being in a room so small it's necessary to keep your clothes in your suitcase when there is nowhere to store them. The best thing about the Palm Royal is the location, just steps from Kokusai Dori and a block from the Public Market. There is no shortage of places to shop, eat and explore within walking distance. Behind the hotel is a hidden alley with many little eating establishments which reminded me of Golden Gai in Tokyo. There is also a massage treatment center next door which you can get a massage and charge it to your room. (although it opens at 4pm) My wife and I enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again in the future.
Best of location, staff friend,y and helpful, hotel size small but enough and this price, al, facilities is user friendly, free coffee machine and water refill machine available, very good wifi connection
Location in the heart of shopping”
The hotel is as expected in Japan. Very small but clean. The bathroom also small but functional. I like the japanese style bath tub. The air conditioning blower unit needs to be cleaned as it seems very dirty and the flap to direct the air was broken (so I wedged some paper to position the flap so that air can come out. Coming out of the hotel, you are in the middle of the shopping district with a lot of choices for shopping and food. We rented a car to explore the island so didn't use the public transportation.
Very clean room!! their smallest room has 4feet bed which is enough for us. Room has enough space to open our luggage. Good view. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to station which goes direct to airport or bus station was just 3 mins from the hotel, next to 24hr shopping centre. helpful staffs who speak fluent in English and recommended useful shopping, transportation information.
Good location. Comfortable stay”
Pros - location. Right next to kokusai dori. Lots of shopping and food choices. Chose moderate twin which is rather spacious for Japan standard. Construction was still ongoing but I didn't feel any inconvenience at all. Cons - no free parking. But 3 parking areas available close by.
Good location but the room is a bit smaller than I expected but it’s in acceptional for Japanese hotel in city centre
Value for money , Awesome breakfast
Amazing Property ”
Great staff. Great location. Nice and comfortable room. Really enjoyed our stay.
Very nice hotel”
Walk 5 mins from monorail , nearby many food and shopping shop, worth to stay
Nice hotel & great location”
Location very good, near shopping & near Yui Rail Makishi Station, opposite have Lawson
Very great location, just at Kokusaidori street, near Yui Rail Makishi Station, Opposite have Lawson, behind hotel have Kokusai Dori Yataimura, will come back to this hotel again.
Convenient location and clean room”
Very competitive price and great location. 24th hour shop and ramen store within walking distance.
Perfect stay. Location is superb with nearby shops & nice eatery. Staff is nice.
Good hotel in convenient location”
This hotel is conveniently located near the Makishi station, Okinawa fish market and many restaurants/izakayas/bars. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are very courteous and helpful. The room was quiet (from a high floor), and although somewhat small, it has good wifi, a comfy bed, a coffee maker (which is a bit big given the room's size), a fridge, and TV with mostly Japanese channels. The bathroom was clean and extra toiletries were provided (e.g. toothpaste/toothbrush, brush, etc.) Although the tap water is drinkable, there are also water coolers on each floor. Note that there are no safes in the room but there are boxes available at the front desk. Overall this hotel was very good for my brief stay and had a good rate (under $50/d), plus the location and staff are excellent.
