Excellent location and amazing staff”
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Paradise, in large part because of the genuine warmth of the whole staff. We stayed in a self-catering apartment on the top floor of a building owned by the hotel and steps away from the hotel proper. Our view was of Bologna's twin towers. The apartment was well furnished and spotlessly clean, absolutely quiet, with a large comfortable bed. We were there while the temperature was over 30 and left the air conditioner on all the time, which worked. There is a supermarket at the end of the street, so buying food was easy. The hotel is ideally located to explore all of the old city on foot--many sights are within a 20 minute stroll. Key to the hotel is customer service--everyone we met was exceptionally pleasant, offering help with restaurants, taxis, and Italian. The breakfast featured lots of coffee, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, and fruit. We would definitely return when visiting Bologna.

The staff was super nice all the way from check in. Extremely helpful and very pleasant. Hotel room was extremely big, very clean and very comfortable. Had a lovely experience staying there and would definitely go back if am in Bologna. Located just 1 minute walk from the busy shopping street and only 10mins walk to the Bologna Train station.

We were only at this location for one night, but the staff was very friendly, and the hotel has a nice location, walking distance to most areas in central bologna, and the train station. The rooms were clean!

A good place to stay”
Arriving Bologna by a night train early in the morning, and they are nice for letting me a super early check-in. Located near city center makes everything convenience. The only bad part is the really tiny "shower corner" and the nearby bar might bring you noise if you want to sleep with open window at weekend.

Truly Paradise”
there's so much good about this hotel that it's hard to know where to start. the staff there were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. not in the "we've been trained to be really friendly" way that you get in many good hotels, but rather in the "we really like people and we're glad you're here friendly." as i speak english, they had the english-speaking chambermaid clean my room. a small but nice touch, which is indicative of their attention to detail. my room was recently refurbished and impeccably clean. as mentioned by other reviewers, the cold buffet breakfast is simple but good, and includes things like cut meat, cheese and hard boiled eggs. plus the famous home made cake. my room overlooked a quaint little italian coffee shop/bar so there was some noise from that in the evening, but not late into the night. for me it added atmosphere.

Central location, clean and comfortable rooms”
the hotel is perfectly located in the historic center 6 minutes from piazza maggiore and 13 minutes from the railway station. (however, it is located on a small, hidden street, so be well-armed with the address and a good map.) the check-in process was smooth and the front desk staff was outstanding. my single room was small, but i found the room had more amenities than most rooms in larger, more established hotels. the hotel will be my first choice when i return.

Outstanding little hotel close to Bologna Centrale”
This little hotel was rally a great surprise to find. We came in late at night and were warmly greeted by reception. The room was very clean and had lots of space. The morning staff were very helpful offering directions and letting us leave our luggage for the day. The espresso machine by the front desk is definitely a nice plus. I recommend Hotel Paradise palms down!!!

Staff was great, very helpful and charming. Breakfast also very good. Room was average. Shower so tiny anyone over 150 pounds will feel like Andre the giant. Would stay again but the budget minded customer will feel right at home

Room was tired looking. Might improve -they were laying new carpet in the halls while we were there (very smelly!). Breakfast was typically boring for mid-range Italian hotel. Staff were very nice.
