Very good”

This is a mid century-modern architectural and design mecca. Truly breathtaking original features everywhere. Don't expect modern bathrooms but do expect stunning views and classic furniture. The floor tiles are worth staying at this hotel alone. Our bath drain blocked during our stay and overflowed via various bathroom drains but was quickly fixed and cleaned. Watching the sun set over Sorrento and Capri from the bar and then restaurant was a highlight as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I booked this hotel because of my interest in GioPonti. Very pleased that hotel has preserved his design exactly. I had a great stay: enjoyed the large campus (pool/beach/terraces/gardens) and the high level of attention/service from the staff. The facilities are very clean, and the staff amazingly helpful: Fabio and Michela went above-and-beyond to see that I had a great experience at the hotel and in Positano/Naples. When I realized I needed to print my Ferry ticket, Fabio took care of it immediately then followed up by email. Positano and other towns are a short trip away, and the hotel offers proximity to without all the crowds. The campus is serene, beautiful and feels empty given the size of the property. The complimentary breakfast is very good—there’s an abundance of foods offered. The pool is gorgeous, amd the level of service here and at the beach is wonderful. My only negative feedback: the gym could use more equipment. For a hotel of this level it should have more.

Small but nice ”

More like a Boutique hotel as it was definetly on the small side. No Gym or Spa facilities. However the staff and the breakfast were great. Location was excellent located right in the middle of the old town.

I'm sure this hotel has had its glory days and it needs to upgrade facilities and service to keep up”

Its always acceptable to pay a premium for excellent service, quality and facilities but considering this hotel's rates, they ought to give customers a higher standard in all aspects I mentioned. -Rooms are clean, in fairness. But they need renovation. - they charge you for everything - extra bed $60/person/night. I forgot how much if you lose your room key (in other hotels this is not an issue) - Food quality average. Breakfast buffet is similar to what you get in a 3-4 star hotel - the only good thing about this hotel is he spectacular view

Dont expect the service of a 5 star hôtel”

Very disappointing. Hotel itself is nice for architecture lover, beautiful sunset from the outside terasse. The staff is incompetent and rude. There is no manager around when you ask for it. First time in a lifetime that i expriment a service that bad. I wouldnt recommand anyone to stay there. I rather stay in a airbnb, i will probably have a better service than i could have in there. Pool have to be clean.
