Best terrace over the Amalfi coast”
If you want to feel the Amalfi vibe, Poseidon is the place to be. Everything is perfect, from the interior design, food, employees, service. You’ve got to order the local Amalfi red wine, it’s absolutely delicious . If you’ve got a nice balcony, you can order it in your room. I did that. Such great moments, to last for the rest of my life. I have to go back there again, some time. The whole city of Positano is worth a visit. So sweet and romantic! Thank you, Hotel Poseidon, for the upgrade surprise, for the hospitality, for the nice atmosphere for my dinner at the restaurant, for the professionalism and for the Amalfi wine 😋😉

This hotel was in a great location with easy drop off or parking. Breathtaking views from balcony. Wonderful relaxing massage. Helpful staff, lovely decor, large room size, lots of outlets, comfy bed, just can’t complain! Well, would have liked a blanket on bed but probably could have asked (got a bit cold with just sheet).

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Poseidon. We arrived early and the hotel immediately gave us an upgrade and let us check-in early. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. They even drove us to our restaurant one evening. Our room had an incredible view over Positano. The breakfast location is beautiful and the food is varied and really tasty! We also had a few drinks by the bar in the evening, great cocktails and view. Truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Congrats to Poseidon on their incredible team!

The hotel is well located and has great views over Positano. We were given an upgrade on arrival and a tour of the hotel facilities before being shown up to our room. The balcony of the room had amazing views. Really friendly staff who were prompt with service and nothing was too much trouble. Also got a free ride in the hotel classic VW Beetle

The hotel is stunning. Junior suite was quite basic but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The view from the private balcony is exceptional. Pool bar/ terrace has one of the best views in Positano. Staff are very accommodating. Complimentary use of the Vintave VW Beetle is a lovely touch.

Incredible hotel ”
From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we were utterly amazed by the beauty and fantastic service at Poseidon. We left very early in the morning (2:30am) for a flight from Naples and the staff brought us in a tray of breakfast options with some coffee in a thermos the night before. All the staff are so friendly and willing to help with anything. The hotel itself is incredible, partiucularly the pool/bar/restaraunt area. Luca was extremely helpful at the bar and very friendly and welcoming! The pool and restaraunt have the most amazing views over Positano! We could have sat there and watched it all day and night! Will definitely stay at Poseidon next time we visit Positano, location is perfect too! You get all the great views from being up on the hill and the walk down to the beach is very pleasant with lots of lovely shops along the way! Definitely recommend.

We could not have had a better stay in Positano. The staff were so friendly, always greeting you and offering their services. When we first arrived Angelo from the front desk took us around the hotel and showed us the facilities and also offered us two different rooms to choose from. He was absolutely delightful and we have never had such great service. The pool was lovely and the view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was fantastic and the location was perfect. We never wanted to leave! We had such a wonderful stay we can't wait to go back to Positano and stay at Hotel Poseidon again!!!

Great spot in Positano”
We stayed at Hotel Poseidon for 5 nights. The rooms were a bit outdated but the "partial sea view" made up for it. These rooms having a stunning view of Positano, the mountains and sea. Also, the staff is very Friendly and helped with booking many of our reservations. Note that this hotel has a pool and attracts a lot of families with children, so if you're semi-allergic to kids, then you may want to visit when it's not summer time.

Incredible views”
Had a fantastic time in Positano, with many a lazy hour spent drinking wine on the balcony of one of the Superior rooms. The hotel is an easy 10 min walk to the beach and main area of Positano. The walk back up the hill wasn't quite as easy but after all the food and wine we had, it was much needed! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop area including pool was great, and an excellent option for a few hours of unwinding each day. Also one of the more extensive breakfasts we came across in our 3 weeks around Italy. Lovely people, fabulous hotel. A great little treat for ourselves as the last stop on our trip.

This hotel has everything you want if you are staying in Positano. The rooms are very bright, clean and very comfortable.The staff extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you . The bar staff and particular the pool lady were outstanding in there job . The food was fantastic and pizza night with the back ground music was amazing.The veranda was amazing for breakfast with breathtaking views in the sun .The little shops around it were brilliant and small supermarket across the road had everything. It is brilliantly located with two different ways to the beach . Lots of beautiful shops and restaurants on this walk . Make sure and have very comfortable shoes and not be afraid to climb steps or hills . I would go back to this hotel in the morning if I could. Amazing 💗

I visited the Poseidon hotel with my family as a child and returned on my honeymoon. My husband was just as awe struck as I was visiting years ago. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. There's always a staff nearby, and they're extremely forthcoming in providing recommendations, booking reservations, or finding you the best options for boat tours in Capri. The location is ideal and has the best view. I personally found the food at this hotel better than a few restaurants we tried in town which were on the Michelson guide. It's understated elegance with Italian charm. The rooms/ venue is spotless with modern showers/bathrooms. We were in a "standard room", and the view overlooked a garden with a balcony--It was stunning. The breakfast is included and it was fantastic as was the wi-fi (which was very fast). My husband and I will return for years. We're also fans of air bnb and Le Sirenuse, but I'd pay for this experience every time. It's honestly that magical.

We loved the location of this hotel as it was up high in the hillside to have a great view of Positano yet close to main square. The rooms are clean and have a really nice balcony with a views of Positano. The staff was very helpful.

perfect location just 15 minutes walk to the main shopping area. the view from room is picture perfect with great pool area and restaurant just on the top floor of the hotel with full view of positano and the ocean. our room is great with our own terrace. will go back to this hotel again.
