Very nice hotel, great service and well located!”

Service, rooms, spa & fitness center, bar, restaurants, breakfast and food in general
Inflexible regarding late check-out and expensive internet access and parking

This was my 10th stay at Principe Di Savoia Hotel. It belongs to a chain called "Dorchester Collection", which cares a lot about the service and installations/facilities provided by the hotel. I travel at least 3 times per year and Milan is one of the few cities in the world where I do not considered experimenting another hotel. There is almost nothing we can complain when staying there. The service/staff is prestative and competent. All Concierges are well informed and with good tips about all subjects. Food wonderful ... do not miss breakfast. It worths to pay a visit to the fitness center, spa, sauna and swimming pool on the last floor. Limousine service to the shopping area (via Montenapoleone and surroundings) is a must. The only suggestions are: more flexibility regarding guests late check-out necessities and reviewing rates for internet access and parking at the hotel.

5 star hotel at 3 star prices”

Wonderful 5 star hotel property. Great and friendly service from all employees. Classic grand european hotel
The location is not great. In a rather boring area. The rooms were very nice and for the price amazing. Had I been paying real star prices (eg 3X what i paid) i would probably be more critical. Little things were missed like not have a dimmer switch on the bedside lamps. Food and drink was very expensive but that is typical of any 5 star hotel in Milan.

The Principe treated us very well. We got an great rate via Agoda of $250 a night. The other 5 star hotels in Milan all charged at least three times that. The Hotel is classically european and has all the amenities one would want including a great gym, pool, and spa. Breakfast starts at $50 so luckily ours was included in the price. The location was not central but only a 10 minute walk to the Duomo

Amazing Hotel in Milan”

Clean, New, Great Amenities, Comfortable
Wireless is way too expensive, not in center of Milan

This is the 3rd time I've stayed in the Principe this year and it is always the best place for me to be. Since I travel for work, I don't necessarily have to be in the center of Milan so the location works for me. It's consistently a great stay - rooms are renovated, quiet, clean, and well lit, services are great, love the room service food, and they concierge takes care of a lot. The only downside would be that the internet is waaaay too expensive - 27 euros a day! That is ridiculous.

Very well equipped, sophisticated atmosphere with kind and nice hospitality. Breakfast was also very nice. Bath room seems nice and clean but one thing that I found many hairs inside the bath tub was not so nice. However, I would like to try with Principe for my next trip to Milan again.

excellent stay”

The service, the location, the meeting room with contineous service, all top notch. Fantastic spa with pool, steam room, gym with wrap around view of Milan.
Some of the rooms are small, and it does happen often to get on the short list and get a small room. The internet charge of 27 Euro a day is just outrageous and unbecoming to the Hotel

Overall The Principe has always held the lead as best Hotel of Milan, and while the location may not be as good as it used to be, I still prefer it having stayed at the hotel on and off for the past 50 years.

What a lovely Hotel”

My wife and I stayed in Milan 1 night and chose this Hotel. Fantastic! Rooms are big, beds very comfortable and staff extremely helpful. My advise is not to rent a car while there as parking is very expensive €55 a day. Pool and spa is world class and relaxing after a long day's shopping. Wish we did not had to leave early so we could experience the breakfast. Will return for sure!!

My stay at the Principe di Savoia”

Great service, friendly people, traditionally one of the best hotels in Milan
No sitting area other than the informal restaurant where one feels uncomfortable by just sitting without ordering drinks or food

I find that the price you offered per night per room was very reasonable except that one thinks that a Classic Room would be a nice one when it is a really very small room and quite shabby compared with the newly decorated ones. I think you should have an option for a Premium DeLuxe Room even if it is a bit more expensive. Otherwise, in my opinion; the Principe is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

Lovely Hotel....we had a problem with the AC not working properly in our room. Staying one night but leaving for the airport early morning. Needed a good nights sleep as we were traveling back to the US after 2 weeks in Italy The hotel was immensely apologetic & since they were full that evening the only room left was a beautiful suite on the 3rd floor. Hated to go to sleep--what a lovely way to end a fabulous trip. THANKS Lynn & Steve Naples, Florida

Good”

I have stayed at the Principe many times. The recent booking of a Mosiac Room made through Agoda was a complete shambles and upon arrival being advised that I had only paid for a Classic Room despite having written confirmation of a different level of accommodation was an irritating experience. There were additional charges and it was advised that a further booking for the same level of accommodation will not be honoured . It would appear Agoda subcontracts to other sellers who dishonestly advertise rooms as being at a higher level. The customers are the unwitting victims. This hotel is of a high standard in many respects but such issues that arise from accomodation resellers spoil the experience and reflect badly on all associated parties. Guest Relations telling guests that the Reservations Manager will not honour written confirmation for accomodation is a bad experience.
