Very bad check out ”
These people are crazy. I had two rooms prepaid and I wanted to upgrade one of the classic doubles to a suite and the receptionist literately charged me extra the suit and kept the classic aswell. How stupid is that ? She did not even told me until I had to pay the check out. But this after I stayed almost 3 weeks there with 2-3 rooms / night booked. Very very bad service . Never stay there if you book several rooms
Worst experience ”
They are really bad
one of my favourite places in Milan”
This Hotel is a classic luxury hotel with all one expects of that. A top gym on the rooftop, super nice and helpful staff, a very expensive but extremly good restaurant. When my budget allows i try to stay here. Its also 10min walk from the central station and easy to get to and from Linate from here.
What a lovely Hotel”
My wife and I stayed in Milan 1 night and chose this Hotel. Fantastic! Rooms are big, beds very comfortable and staff extremely helpful. My advise is not to rent a car while there as parking is very expensive €55 a day. Pool and spa is world class and relaxing after a long day's shopping. Wish we did not had to leave early so we could experience the breakfast. Will return for sure!!
One of the best Hotels in Milan”
Beautiful old world hotel situated just north from downtown. Great facilities (try staying at the main building, the new wing wasn't as charming) and, although the breakfast is somewhat expensive, it is certainly worth the price, serving one of the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. 24/7 roomservice and the bar next to the lobby is a must, great atmosphere and pleasant service. Avoid the roomservice menu, although the food was good it still didn't justify paying for a pizza. Overall: I had the most pleasant stay there. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!!
Positive: + Very comfortable bed - one of the best beds I ever slept in + Beautiful rooms styled to perfection + Very warm and helpful staff - fully customer oriented + Dogs stay for free + Great breakfast + Good location + Great spa Negative: - EUR 60 per day for parking - this is absurd and the worst part is that the hotel does not publish it - they only tell you when you are there.
The rooms were beautiful and large. And accommodations were very clean. The pool, hottub and sauna were nicely upgraded. The free shuttle with too stops was a great bonus. Most the staff was friendly. However a couple people were not forcoming with information.
Very well equipped, sophisticated atmosphere with kind and nice hospitality. Breakfast was also very nice. Bath room seems nice and clean but one thing that I found many hairs inside the bath tub was not so nice. However, I would like to try with Principe for my next trip to Milan again.
First Class Hotel !”
Beautiful rooms, great service, Pool / Spa with a view, kind stuff and a nice atmosphere. Just the extra price range is pushing it a little: 60 € / day for parking and 20 € for a spritz is too much... I suppose that's why we were the only people at the bar on a saturday night after 10 pm.
Exceptional property ”
Laura made us feel welcome and special during our overnight stay! The reception we received was very much appreciated!
I have stayed at the Principe many times. The recent booking of a Mosiac Room made through Agoda was a complete shambles and upon arrival being advised that I had only paid for a Classic Room despite having written confirmation of a different level of accommodation was an irritating experience. There were additional charges and it was advised that a further booking for the same level of accommodation will not be honoured . It would appear Agoda subcontracts to other sellers who dishonestly advertise rooms as being at a higher level. The customers are the unwitting victims. This hotel is of a high standard in many respects but such issues that arise from accomodation resellers spoil the experience and reflect badly on all associated parties. Guest Relations telling guests that the Reservations Manager will not honour written confirmation for accomodation is a bad experience.

The hotel is extremely luxurious. It is immaculately decorated. The staff was very attentive and very well-trained.It was sheer perfection. The only negative, a trolley runs by the front of the hotel and it is noisy and there is vibration
After some confusion over the book I very much enjoyed my stay. Beautiful hotel. ”
Initially they had the wrong grade of room for my booking and could not change it as my flight had been delayed and I arrived late into the evening. The next morning they upgraded me in order to apologise. The bookings director apologised directly and I considered the matter settled. In general it’s a lovely well appointed hotel. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. Although if it’s busy or you are unlucky you’ll end up eating breakfast in the lobby rather than the superb restaurant.
Wonderfull Hotel and welcoming staff!”
Originally planned to stay for two nights but it was so nice and comfortable that we decided to stay another night, they also upgraded our room complimentary which was very nice of them! We will definitely be back again. Thank you!
Excellcent hotel with fabulous service”
This is a really wonderful hotel! Every staff is so kind and nice. Especially the concierge! Many thanks to Lawrence, Oswaldo, Geogia and others I don't your name, you made my trip easier! And there is a gentleman at front desk, the first day I arrived, the room was not ready, he offered a coffee for me to wait and take a break at lobby, it gave the me first nice impression on the hotel. Most of them are so nice! Will definitely be the place I stay again in Milano!
Lovely Hotel....we had a problem with the AC not working properly in our room. Staying one night but leaving for the airport early morning. Needed a good nights sleep as we were traveling back to the US after 2 weeks in Italy The hotel was immensely apologetic & since they were full that evening the only room left was a beautiful suite on the 3rd floor. Hated to go to sleep--what a lovely way to end a fabulous trip. THANKS Lynn & Steve Naples, Florida
Classic Milan in comfort and style”
While sophisticated, the staff is very warm and welcoming. The Príncipe di Savoie is a classic hotel with all of the luxury appointments. It is a 15-20 min walk from the main shopping area but is very quiet and comfortable.
Excellent services and rooms”
It's worth to be a 5 stars rated hotel. I just have a short stay in milan, staffs are professional and enthusiastic. They do more than you expected. Although the location is not the best....not so near to city centre, it's so great to have the shuttle services from hotel to anywhere...very convenient.
As always, a great stay!”
This is the 4th time I've been at the Principe this year and, as always, it was a great stay. They are professional and there to attend to my needs and understand the stress of business traveling. Great rooms and great room service for food, too! They should give wifi for free!
Very nice hotel, great service and well located!”
This was my 10th stay at Principe Di Savoia Hotel. It belongs to a chain called "Dorchester Collection", which cares a lot about the service and installations/facilities provided by the hotel. I travel at least 3 times per year and Milan is one of the few cities in the world where I do not considered experimenting another hotel. There is almost nothing we can complain when staying there. The service/staff is prestative and competent. All Concierges are well informed and with good tips about all subjects. Food wonderful ... do not miss breakfast. It worths to pay a visit to the fitness center, spa, sauna and swimming pool on the last floor. Limousine service to the shopping area (via Montenapoleone and surroundings) is a must. The only suggestions are: more flexibility regarding guests late check-out necessities and reviewing rates for internet access and parking at the hotel.
