      Would not go back here”
First of all, in my booking the “bed tax” was already included. When we get there they charged us again the same tax, I insisted I paid it, they said it is always paid there. Room was nice but really hot, and of course there is no kind of ventilation, only window. There is a sign that for 50kr /day more they give you a fan!!! Minibar has no list to check what is in there nor the prices, so make sure you ask at the reception for it, since we realized a bottle was missing and would have get charged. First morning electricity was gone for hours, so consequences were not being able to shower with light, not drying my hair and disaster breakfast (no options since coffee or hot meals were not possible). The noise was horrible in the street, we didn’t sleep at all. Do not choose this hotel at all. I would never go back there if I went back to Prague.

Purpur Hotel is in nice street nearby old town square, ask reception which way is best to walk. Staff friendly and helpful and can speak English. Also easy to walk to river and cross to other side. Breakfast is excellent buffet. Room had small kitchenette and windows that could open. Beds are a little too soft but overall a good place to stay.

I enjoyed my 3 nights stay. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Great location and short walking distance to the old town. The room was cozy and very clean but iThe drainage system in the toilet was not working well, so there was an unpleasant smell. Overall a still a pleasant stay!

      Wifi and buffet breakfast
We stated in Prague for 3 nights and pur pur is overall a nice place to stay. It is located in the middle between the train station an the city centre, it would be a bit tiring if u walk to the hotel carrying lugguages but my frd n I got used to that so its by far okay for us;) there r pubs and good restaurant just located in the street on the left of the hotel~there r supermarkets along that street too~ the only problem might be the housekeeper didnt lock our room everyday after she made the room, which is a safety problem needed to be reminded.

Good value hotel with free wifi”
      Location
The hotel is pretty small one on a small road but was not difficult to find. It's only ten minutes walk from Wenceslas Square and the Museum metro station and only around 20 minutes walk from the central station, Praha hl n. Charles Bridge is 30 minutes away on foot or a few minutes away by tram. Room is pretty small but enough for a good night sleep. Bathroom is also small but very clean. The receptionist is friendly and helpful (and beautiful). We could even buy tram ticket from her. What I like the most about the hotel is the free wifi which perform quite well. The only negative thing about Purpur is that they did not turn on the heating when it was rather cold for us (around 15~16 degree C, I suppose). However, the receptionist did give us a small portable heater which helped. Overall, it is a good value.

First, they asked us to pay deposit of 1000 KC when we arrived , which wasn’t mentioned anywhere ! And we didn’t have choice but to pay ! Secondly, I paid the price for AC room, and they told me they don’t have AC in hotel. So whose fault is it ?? Agoda? Hotel ? I’m very disappointed Then end, the breakfast is horrible. Nothing is ok to eat. Only thing is ok is the room itself and friendly staffs. 1.飯店要求用信用卡支付押金,但沒有事情吿知 2,早餐乏善可陳,很糟 3,工作人員友善,英文流利 4,離舊城近

Great English speaking staff and an ideal location just a few minutes walk from city centre.”
Make sure if you book at this hotel you ask not to be put in Room 10. We spent the first night in it and while it might suit Lilliputlians it is not good for fully grown humans. Not much bigger than a broom closed. As the hotel was booked out we waited til the next day to move to a suitable room. The staff especially Eva was so helpful and facilitated the change smoothly. The rooms are a little tired and the renovated bathrooms can allow water to overflow into other areas if even slightly blocked but the beds are comfortable, the breakfast adequate and the overall closeness to many shops and sights make this hotel good.

Very conveniently located, able to walk everywhere easily from the hotel. Breakfast had a very good spread, not luxurious but sufficient, and the ladies who stocked up the breakfast area were lovely and efficient. Could do with more fresh unpeeled fruits for selection. Rooms and toilet are clean. Areas for improvement - definitely the pillow, too soft and "empty", and also internet connection can be a bit patchy.

      Review of Purpur”
Best receptionist (Romana), comfortable room and safe.
It was in the main city but everywhere was walkable. There was a restaurant outside the hotel which had the best risotto and czech beer. Romana, the receptionist was the most delightful and beautiful girl during my stay. She helped with everything. I even left a gift that I bought upon check-out in the room but they were quick to be contacted via email and found it, FEDEX-ed it over and all is well.

comfort and convenience in a central location”
The small restaurants near the hotel served good food at very reasonable prices, walking distance to old town square and other sights and the staff give helpful advice.
We enjoyed our stay because the hotel was comfortable and good value for money, the staff knew the city and gave very practical advice and the hotel was within walking distance of many parts of the city. The castle district is a fairly big walk but a tram does go up there. The ease of getting local, tasty food at reasonable prices in the little restaurants nearby is a great advantage. The room we stayed in was large and although it did appear spartan, it was comfortable and had all the basics.

Great rooms, nice breakfast, internet and WiFi free
Our stay was great other than the noise caused by other guests coming home in the evening and early mornings. The stairwell and areas around the lifts echoed something wicked and the fumbling of keys to try and open doors caused way too much noise. Otherwise staff were very good and having parking onsite even with a K400 charge per day was a bonus.

Lovely place with great value / self-cateirng”
Self-catering facilities, great room design/comfort, and great value
This is a great place to stay. Very cheap but really nice rooms with very comfortable beds. The room design was really nice. Great to have self-catering facilities which I made good use of, cooked a few pasta meals. A couple of missing items you may want to bring along - scissors and tin opener! (Opening my milk carton was a messy affair...) The fridge was a bit full with minibar items which made fitting in my own stuff a bit of a rearrangement exercise. Other reviews mentioning the difficulty of the keys are definitely valid, I sometimes spent a good few minutes trying to unlock the door; quite stressful when you are running late for a train after check-out! The breakfast was below average, but did the job. These are minor complaints though considering what you are getting for the price here. The location is great, less than 15mins from train station and I walked to all the main tourist attractions. The room had a feeling of luxury and was great to be able to cook, make tea, coffee etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I was to come back to Prague.

      ้ a very nice aparthotel but ..^^ ”
      kitchenette, location
we had this hotel booking by checking the agoda score and since it's get 8.4 in the time we booked..we quite satisfied for the value of the hotel.. it's an almost perfect stay for me but it could be better to make it's perfect .. Pro 1. Nice location..walking around 1o to the town area. ( we even walk to praha palace..but wont go there by walk again.. tram is better ) 2. nice room with a kitchenette.. if you travel a lot.. it's so nice to stay in the room that you can prepare your own little snack. or i can cut a fruit with a knife provided in the room along with plates and other utensils. 3.seem to be newly renovated 4.Room has large window that bring the light to whole room. Con. 1. Hotel lobby are decorate with pink& purple sheer curtain.and not so bright .which is ..( in my taste ) i feel like it's look like a cheap motel ( but we are very happy to see the room ) 2. shower area is the same area for whole bathroom ... so when you take a bath..you can wet the whole floor..no partition 3. window curtain for a large window in the room is too short..it's not enough to cover the whole width of the window! ( i even notice previous guest put taped on the curtain as it might help curtain to stick close to the wall for privacy ) if you stay in the room with corridor..imagine someone can easily walk across and peep in your room T_T 4. the hotel is using a key ..real key not key card and coming with plastic stick that have your room no. on it.. For me, it's not convenience at all..and the key is really hard to use..i'm not sure if i can explain it right ..i mean when i insert a key you need to rotate so many time and once you enter the room..you have to again lock it by a key..it's sound not so much difficult but after your long day out ..you just want to rest in your room but the key wont allow you to do so easy.. again and again Overall, since this is aparthotel not the real hotel and for the value i have paid...i still think it's a nice hotel..
