Perfect hotel for Rome ”
This hotel is amazing value. Beautifully decorated and excellent location just 10 minutes walk from Termini station and approx 15 minutes walk to the colosseum. It has a mini supermarket next door and plenty of cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a buffet with lots of choice including bacon, eggs and sausage. Fantastic price . When I go back to Rome this will be the first place I look to rebook.

Lovely hotel in a good location ”
Hotel Raffaello is a lovely hotel and if you are arriving into Rome by train or airport shuttle bus then is in an ideal location 10 minute walk maximum from the train station and easy to find Then you are around a 20-25 minute walk from all the tourist locations Check in was very smooth and the staff very pleasant and polite Room was nice, plenty of wardrobe space, very comfy bed and a decent sized bathroom No tea/coffee making facilities in the room which being English was a draw back but free tea and coffee down stairs With regards to the bathroom the only draw back is the size of the shower cubicle, it’s small to say the least, the actual shower itself is brilliant lovely hot and there is a jacuzzi shower as well but the cubicle is tiny, I’m 6ft 1” and slim to average build and I found the cubicle cramped to say the least, we were in room 212 other rooms may be different That aside excellent hotel and we’d definitely stay again

Convenient and safe location ”
I had a good stay at Hotel Raffaello. Bed was comfortable. Bath was relaxing. Breakfast had a lot of options. About a 7 minute walk to Cavour metro, 12 minutes to Roma Termini, 15 minutes to the Colosseum and within 2 minutes you have a wonderful selection of restaurants to choose from. I found it to be safe and central. Not noisy despite the restaurants nearby

Quiet hotel close to main train station”
Overall we had a great stay, a supermarket is located two doors down and a 12min walk to the main Rome train station. We found the best pizza on our Italy trip 2 mins walk - Trieste Pizza. No kettle in the room, but there is one located in the lobby to use if required. Rooms were quite large and the TV a little small for the size of the room.

Old shabby hotel. ”
Too noisy, water leaks, old smelly carpets, besides building going under outside facelift, the dust and inconvenience. Most of all the staff not conveying with Covid measures and nit wearing or improperly wearing the mask.

Great Location and attention to detail”
We stayed in a different hotel for one night and in comparison the Hotel Raffaello was far superior. The 2nd hotel was in the same area but classed itself as a higher star rating and so not only was the room price higher but so was the city tax. Everything from the breakfast, to the staff and the room was far superior at Hotel Raffaello... we would definitely return to Hotel Raffaello and recommend it to others (especially as we have a local comparison. The breakfast was substantial at Raffaello and the room and shower all good! Everyone there were helpful and the location excellent. The price was such good value!

Great location in Rome”
Though the room was a little small, Hotel Raffaello was a comfortable and convenient place to stay for one night in Rome. My only complaint was that the elevator was actually between floors so that when you get off with luggage, you either have to go up or down an entire flight of steps. I’m not sure if that’s a standard thing in Roman buildings but it didn’t make sense to me. Other than that, it was quiet, convenient to walk to the Roma Termini Station yet far enough away from the undesirable part of being close to a terminal in any big city. The best part was the beautiful tiled and marble bathroom and shower with multiple shower heads and jets. Staff was also very accommodating and friendly. Good choice for an overnight after touring Rome and Florence before leaving the city.

Wonderful ”
This was our first time in Rome . Great location, excellent service very clean room and friendly staff. Exceeded our expectation. Upon our arrival our room was ready.. Best breakfast in town,p! ( selection of fresh fruit, breads, cereals, eggs) We have been visiting Rome for a week before taking the MSC cruise to Haifa. We stayed at four different hotel including Hotel Raffaello and this hotel was the best so far. We stayed at one of their suites with a lively terrace. I’ll certainly come back !

Nice small hotel close to the Coliseum ”
Hotel Raffaello is a pleasant hotel within walking distance of Rome Termini (the main train station) and the Coliseum. Like many hotels in Italy the room is small but sufficient. I appreciated having a choice of pillows to sleep on and the room was quiet at night. Breakfast is a cold buffet with meat and eggs along with the normal spread of sweet breads, lunchmeat, cheese, cereal, yogurt and fruit. The staff t the front desk were friendly and quick to offer recommendations (although just know this is not the cheapest area of town). All in all I would recommend this hotel.

Perfect Location - close to trains, but still felt neighborhood-y”
Hotel Rafaello was a fantastic stay! The room was quite large and well-appointed. The hotel is a very short walk from the Termini train station, but is firmly situated in the super cute neighborhood of Monti which is less crowded and busy than the surrounding parts of Termini train station. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options. The hotel staff also spoke perfect English and were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and helpful travel tips. I will definitely be coming back to Hotel Rafaello when I visit Rome again!

Hotel made my stay special ”
As a single woman traveller I careful where I stay. Hotel Raffaello was perfect. Good sized comfortable rooms, comfy brds, choice of pllloes, A/C that worked, lovely helpful friendly staff, great position. I would definitely go back there. Ask for a room on a higher floor. Ground floor rooms are too close to the street and dark.

We were there to see as much of historic Rome as we could in three and a half days”
We managed to visit many of the main historic attractions. Much of our exploration was carried out on foot. Hotel Raffaello was the perfect location, within half a mile of the Coliseum and the Roman forum. The hotel offered an excellent breakfast choice, and there is a great choice of restaurants, bars and cafes in close proximity.

Location is good”
Hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from termini station which is considered very accessible to all places especially to airport. However, as the road to the hotel is not very smooth and with slopes, this makes the transporting of luggages quite difficult with the uneven road. In the end, we gotten the hotel to arrange for an airport transfer as we have more luggages from all purchases with a 7 day stay in the hotel. For cleanliness, it is vacuumed everyday but the toiletries are not replenish everyday. Maybe depends on the room keepers mood? There is a coffee dispenser at their basement area but beware that this hotel does not provide complimentary water as we are told that the water in Rome are all drinkable. But as tourist, we dare not drink. If they can provide complimentary mineral water, that would be perfect. But overall, a happy hotel stay.

A nice place in a convenient neighborhood.”
Hotel Raffaello is a hotel near the Termini station and the location of that is very convenient although we ended up walking much more that we expected. The hotel had a very nice continental breakfast and the staff overall was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom had been updated. However there was a huge flaw in the bathroom. It had a small step up to the toilet which was a physical hazard. We stubbed our toes a few times! Also there was a big step from the main room to the bathroom. Safety did not seem their prime concern. All else was great.

Perfect location so stay ”
I booked this hotel for 3 women for on3 night in a Rome after a yoga retreat in Tuscany. We tooted the train from Florence to Termini Staton in Rome. About a 5 to 10 minute walk from station with luggage. Our rooms were ready early which we really appreciated and we were only a 15 mile walk to the Coliseum. Then we walked to all the sites we needed to see the rest of the day. We made it as far as St Peter’s Square and walked back. Nice restaurants close to hotel. Would definitely stay again

Good location for family planning own travel”
Stayed there after a Mediterranean cruise. I had planned trips to Ancient Rome and North Rome during this stay. The location is within walking distance to Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum etc. There are a few supermarkets around there and a lot of eateries. My family and I did an overnight trip to Amalfi by taking an early train to Naples to meet our tour guide. The Termini train station is 5 minutes by taxi from Raffaello Hotel. The staff is courteous and room is nice and spacious.

Good value for money”
Raffaello does exactly what it says on the tin. Good value 3* hotel, located 8 minutes walk from the Termini. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good - although the orange juice was a bit thin!
