Its an old property, looks like haveli. Room & Hotel pictures are not same as shown, reality is different. Paint from the walls were hanging. Its shabby ! Bathroom fixtures were old style and in bad condition. When asked for quilts, I and alongwith my old parents were told that they have distributed in all rooms so we have to manage with blankets(they themselves were having quilts when I checked staff room)Their own rooftop restaurant was closed. My car was parked on the road, no safety at all. In the name of staff, only one boy was there to entertain all the guests staying the so called haveli. And yes no views of any palace or lake can be seen from the rooms. I would not recommend this property at all, please stay away from this property. You can get nice rooms in Udaipur, do research before booking as one can be cheated as I have been cheated by this fake old haveli people.

    Sucks
Rooms: Expensive. Stinky blankets. Loud Ac behind a curtain in a "super deluxe" room. The faucet in the bathroom is broken (was broken in both the rooms that we stayed). The bed was not stable and very loud. No toiletries supply. Badly locked door. Location: Took me an hour to find it. Located in a small street with open drains. Food: I wasn't very "Fortunate" enough to try the food because the restaurant was closed for the two days we stayed. Staff: barely any. Service: sucks. I DO NOT recommend anybody to stay at this hotel. I couldn't sleep for both the days I stayed there.

While booking it was indicated that the room rent is inclusive of breakfast, but after check in, it was found that breakfast is not inclusive of room rent. Also, the room given was found small hardly sufficient for 3 adult person for which payment was made. In fact, a standard double room was provided although additional payment was made for extra bed.

    Disappointing
The room stated Palace views...the tip of the palace could be swing from the common terrace. No views from the room at all even though it was the suit (best available) as the glass was opaque.

Good location, so-so hotel room/facilities... the next door Whistling Teal restaurant gets 5 stars :)
Excellent location, walking distance from the city palace and evening shopping/cafe streets. We paid a fair bit for the suite with "city palace view" (from afar via the bathroom window) and despite the nicely furnished (haveli-style) spacious room, we did not find it to be good value-for-money. Hidden away in the courtyard of the hotel is the Whistling Teal restaurant with good service and comfy seating in its lovely garden.

    Miserable experience
Delapitated old building located in a narrow dirty lane with open sewage drainage managed by alying crook. My room was for 3 people. He asked me to locate in a room with a bed without any space to walk around let alone a bed for the third person. After arguing for nearly 1hr we were about to leave the place, when he showed another room with a bed for third person. Bathroom was a a closet dirty stained bathtub nauseating.Luke warm water.None of us took a shower.Big ad for roof top restaurant which did not exist.Mediocre food.We took 2 meals. Taxi to railway station the manager told me 20 Km from hotel and charged me 500rs.The railway station was only 3KM away. How U can book us into such disgusting hotel.I expect you to compensate me if U have any sense of decency and justice.
