Great location with fantastic views. We just wish we had more time. Rooftop breakfast was relaxing with full service coffee and tea. Beautiful views of the water. Choose a room with a view, well worth the extra.
Hotel Regina was fabulous! The staff made all the difference & The lovely pool & garden area. ”
Fantastic breakfast or evening drink with a sensational view & a great team of staff looking after you! Thank you Maria Rosa, Giuseppe & Mattia. And all the front desk team!
We had a room with gorgeous views of sea and the hills, super clean and decent size. The breakfast was fantastic! The pool is a bit small but fine. The location of the hotel is amazing!! Would stay here again for sure.
Professional, Catered to all needs, Courteous ”
We so enjoyed Hotel Regina in Sorrento mostly because the staff go out of their way to accommodate and anticipate your needs. Mostly, things were done for you before you asked😊The “Antonio’s” always we’re kind. Also, Giuseppe, the maitre d takes impeccable care of you. The breakfast food is divine, meant for both European and American discriminating tastes. Pope and Marilyn Welch June 2019
Loved the Hotel Regina. Staff amazing and location hard to beat. We were there early April. Pool closed, as was rooftop bar, as weather not particularly warm. However, was surprised that gym was also closed, which annoyed our 17yr old son. Under maintenance! Bar happy hour 5-6 was great value for “vino”, but finished early. Would have been better from 5-7, or 6-7, to catch everyone before going out to dinner. As result we seen very few people in bar. That said, would definitely go back - from May onwards, when it’s fully up and running!
Loved the outdoor garden area”
Great location, spotlessly clean. Staff were lovely and we really enjoyed the outdoor pool and garden area
The Hotel Regina is in an excellent location if you want be away from the hustle bustle of Sorrento. Located in the old city it has magnificent sea views from the rooms. The accommodation was very comfortable. The staff, particularly in the dining area where extremely helpful. While still a little noisy at night it is recommended as a great place to stay.
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel regina sorrento. All of the staff were kind and helpful and most delightful with their italian hospitality.I stayed for 11days and would highly recommend this very stylish hotel
Nice ocean view. Close to town square. Walking distance to port for ferry to Capri ”
Beautiful scenery with aroma of orange and lemon blossoms. Breakfast was satisfying. Hotel is more for mature guests.
Breakfast with a view!”
Great location and lovely sea views especially from the breakfast room. Loved the breakfast also. Very nice staff. Rooms very nicely decorated. Very pretty outdoor pool though we didn’t spend much time there. Could do with better soundproofing but that is something we had already encountered in other Italian hotels and not any worse here. Would have loved tea/coffee facilities in the room but I know it’s not generally a feature in rooms on continent. Overall very happy with our stay.
Very good value for money hotel. Very close to the town centre of Sorrento. Staff was very friendly.
A fantastic Hotel in the Off Season”
We were at this hotel just before it was shut for the winter season so it was an absolute bargain re the nightly rate. The hotel was perfect, a lovely place to have breakfast in the morning. The hotel was well positioned to walk into Sorrento and access all the restaurants as well as walk down to the beach area.
I guess this place is more convenient for travellers coming with their own vehicle. As we were tourists we had big luggage to carry and this place was quite inside the lanes which made it difficult for us the enjoy the place.
Amazing Location but you will need to like sleeping in a HARD bed”
Fabulous location in Sorrento. Staff excellent . Pity the rooftop was closed so nowhere to sit and enjoy the view. The hardest bed we have ever slept in . Had seen this comment in previous review and should have taken note. Asked reception for a topper but none available. Big tip to Hotel Regina ....have some mattress toppers in hand . We didn't sleep well and for that reason we would not return.
Amazing place !!!”
Loved everything about this place: - Perfectly located nearby the city centre - The staff were absolutely wonderful, always friendly, smiling and helpful - The beautiful room had stunning views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius - The Lovely pool/garden area, gorgeous views - The great service at breakfast - Watching the sunset on the rooftop terrace.
I asked for ironing equipment. I was told 3x that by law ints not allowed to keep it in the room. I undersstand it, I just want to borrow it. 3 x I was told it's not possible by Italian law. Only option is to use hotel laundry. All of it is a lay, you can borrow ironing equipment in other hotels.
Loved this hotel! Very affordable in the off season, small room but very clean and comfortable.”
Great views, great pool, great breakfast! Highly recommend to others.
Room could have been a bit bigher”
Firstly the pros: very friendly staff, easy check in, very clean hotel, excellent panoramic view from the top floor where you have breakfast.. the breakfast spread was good, there were couple of options for vegans too apart from fruits and bread. Their cappuccino was really good. Location is easy to access - 5 mins walk from the main tasso square and 10-15 mins walk from the train station. The only thing which we would liked better was the size of the room. It was too small and so was the bathroom which had no bidet. The shower area too was quite cramped. We had opted for the cheapest room available in this hotel in agoda.com so maybe the other rooms are bigger than this one. The pool was closed due to winters. However we would definitely want to go back to this property albeit in a different bigger room..
Hotel with Nice view of Gulf of Naples, Excellent breakfast, Nice staff”
I stayed one day with wife and 2 yr old kid in Double with Sea View room. View from the room is just amazing, also from the 360 degree roof top restaurant. Breakfast has lot of options and staffs there are very helpful. Front desk staff has also provided lot of info about Capri. Really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended to others. Only negative shower at the bathroom has some lickage so water was spilling over but manageable.
Perfect location, exceptionally clean and an excellent value.”
Fabulous breakfast; food, staff and view.
