Good Stay and Decent Staff”
Good customer service and clean room. Very close to the metro. It's a great price for a descent hotel. One has to mention that the hotel is located in a noisy, "shady" part of Paris. It is not to say that this is a bad neighborhood, although you can see that things may go on behind doors (not to bash but I'm from Mexico City and I know what 'shady' is). Wifi is a little slow though. Nevertheless, my stay was great. Had no problems with staff or anything whatsoever. Nice and cheap fast food places around. I would definitely stay here again.

All the previous negative reviews were totally unbased according to my experience. Silvie and the weekend lad were exceptionally accomodating,fluent in English and totally hassle-free. Room was great for the value: clean, efficient house-keeping. Was a largely Morrocan nieghbourhood, but everybody friendly, including the touts. Never felt insecure.

Average stay of the hotel”
Where do you get to pay less than 100 euros for a night for a room with ensuite toilet, wifi and good location near Metro station: Barbes Rochechouart and Gare du Nord train station.

clean and friendly but dubious location”
The hotel was nice enough with friendly staff and rooms were clean and adequate, the location was also handy. The only disappointing aspect was the street the hotel was located on was a bit dirty and a few sleezy although harmless types hanging around, all in all ok but you could do better for your money.

Potentially dangerous location”
Unfortunately i picked this hotel in a hurry. I needed a night close to Gare Du Nord and this hotel is located behind the station, not in front of it. I'm a big guy and feel ok walking most city streets but this was a bit scary. would not recommend for female traveller. chose a hotel in front of the station if going to stay in that area.

Dangerous area for a single traveler ”
Dangerous area for single area especially single lady. Area full of foreigners african and morocan. Wifi very slow in the room only works well in the lobby. A lot halal restaurant nearby which selling kebab. Walking distance to sacre-coure basilica around 5-10 minutes.

Decent enough for sleeping and showering”
not the worst place, room was hot and small and bed not too comfy, but it did the job for 3 nights, only there to sleep and shower really! close to good transport but in a dodgy part of town!

Budget option near Montmartre”
Paris doesn't have many budget hotels that are actually in Paris and include private bathrooms, so that gives this place an advantage. The staff were friendly, my room was spacious, and the hotel location is very convenient--it's a short walk from the Barbès–Rochechouart metro station (lines 2 and 4) and a 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord. 10 minutes in the other direction gets you to Montmartre. The neighborhood is non-touristy. The only major disadvantage of my stay (I was there for three nights in late September and two in mid October) was the unreliable WiFi. The signal was weak and some nights wasn't even available. The hotel needs to invest in better routers or have an IT guy look at the problem.

No daban el desayuno que cobraban.”
En la reserva se incluía el desayuno. Cuando llegué me dijeron que no servían desayunos, que eso era un error de impresión de booking y no me querían devolver la parte del desayuno que habían cobrado. Tras una fuerte discusión consegui que me devolvieran la parte del desayuno. Mala experiencia. No volveré nunca.
